One of the best dinners I've had in my life. Fresh Caesar salad made in front of you, beef medallion wit hollandaise sauce and cream cheese stuffed chicken breast. My partner had an unforgettable birthday dinner.

Our evening was amazing, I would have given 5 stars across the board but one aspect of service wasn't perfect. The bartender never came back after our first drinks, even though we mentioned we wanted to have wine with our dinner, we ended up getting a bottle of wine (after we flagged someone down) but our main course had already arrived to the table. One small hiccup, overall a wonderful meal!

Food is fabulous, staff are friendly and attentive, ambience is quiet and cozy. Always a fantastic dining experience. We will be back!

We ordered off the winter special menu and we were very pleased. Being a four course meal we were stuffed as the portions are a good size. The quality of food was superb.

My fiancee and I both had the Winter Special and the food was absolutely amazing, the waiters we had were social and friendly. It is now a goal of ours to go back atleast once a year. Absolutely wonderful evening, we both can't say enough good things about the place.

We have a after here many times over the decades. Chris our waiter was terrific and made the experience as good as it could be. I hade the rack of lamb and was very tasty. We celebrated 2 birthdays and will be back again.

The food was good but not great. I’ve been to much cheaper restaurants and received better food. Overall the food quality was just not worth the price.

The Old Surrey Restaurant never disappoints. Their French style cuisine is second to none and their attention to detail puts it well above any other restaurant in the whole Metro Vancouver. Their meats are exceptional as well as perfectly cooked and their seafood is the best quality that you can find. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody with a discerning palate.

We have been going for the last 10 years for my mother’s birthday. Never disappointed. Happy 86th. See you next year.

I got value for my money. The service was superior. The only fault I could possibly find is the 10 dollar price tag on domestic beer, but I only drank water and my glass was kept full. My family goes for every birthday. They always make it special for us. The food is incredible.

The restaurant does things that that are almost obsolete in most restaurants today ! They make Caesar Salad for two at tableside. The after dinner specialty coffees are done at tableside as well ! Traditional French dining ! My husband's rack of lamb was delicious and my seafood platter was great except the salmon ( I am not a salmon fan anyway - bit dry ) We will definitely go back again !

Always plan on having the caesar salad. Nothing beats fresh tableside service. This time we had the lamb and steak & shrimp. Excellent service included! It is a treat we look forward to, worth the trip.

Service was good. Our waiter enjoyed his job and it showed. The duck was delicious, the steak was good, we weren't rushed and dessert was matched the rest of the meal. We'll return.

Due to Covid our experience was quite different from the past. Very quiet. Food was exceptional as always but I found this time our meal was much more pricey than in the past. I very much like this restaurant and hope that it can survive Covid. I prefer to see more people in the restaurant. I am sure that is your desire as well. Let's just pray Covid pushes off and we can all get back to normal.

24th wedding anniversary dinner. The food is amazing! I had the seafood platter; a lot of food comes on that plate, too much for me - hubby was happy to help. He had the steak; melt in your mouth juicy, cooked to perfection. The value is fantastic for the meal that is served! The service is always top notch, not constantly in your face, but always around when you need. Second time here, and will be back again for sure!!

Outstanding service. Menu is French cuisine inspired and made from local purveyors. A hidden gym in this part of town, really.
