    Absolutely amazing. The naan, the pâté and duck were perfect. Star of the night was the russet potato gnocchi with guanciale - worth another trek to LA just for that. 11/10 stars and can’t wait to go back.

    Underwhelmed. Service was slow, food was good. They brought us the wrong dishes to our table at one point, then took them to a table over from us when we told them it wasn’t for us. I ordered a soda drink but it never arrived. I asked twice. It wasn’t horrible but just a miss for us.

    Beautiful ambiance. Original menu with unique dishes. Excellent service. There was only one dish that should be revisited: the pork chop was not at the calibre of the rest of the dishes. It was more like straight up ham than a tenderloin quality cut. All else was excellent.

    We celebrated my husband’s birthday and had a great experience all around. They served the Sunday Supper fixed menu. It was delicious and good portions. The only thing is that the restaurant is a bit loud. We will definitely be back!!

    Our selections were not the best, most of the dishes didn’t hit the mark. But the worst was the extremely undercooked cavatelli dish that we mentioned to our waiter and he said he’d check with the kitchen but never got back to us and seemingly forgot about it… and so did we until after we paid for our check and then we felt it was too late to bring it up again. That pasta dish was really unacceptable, most of the cavatelli was hard to chew, like it was either just old and stale or not properly cooked. I prefer Al dente but even then it was way too much. Wonder what the QC is like in that kitchen. Overall didn’t feel like it was worth a $100pp dinner. It was my second time, with my first time being pre-pandemic and then it was a great food experience from my memory.

    Great place to visit, open kitchen always cool to be around. Staff was friendly and service quick. Food was amazing and really good cocktail program. Their bone marrow dip and chicken liver mousse for the naan *chef's kiss*.

    Food was delicious! I’ll definitely come back. The fried chicken with black truffles was a standout. Only annoying thing that kind of deflated the meal was we added black truffles and mac + cheese to the Sunday prefix we came in for but were not told it was done on a per person basis. My mother said she didn’t like truffles but caved because I wanted it so it felt like the waiter was trying to drive up the price. Perhaps we should’ve known that it was per person but it felt bad when we ended up paying something like $75 more than what we were expecting.

    We dined at Otium for their new 3 course fixed price Sunday menu. Both the food and the highly attentive service were outstanding. It was a delicious, super satisfying, and filling meal. We also enjoyed their much more interesting than average wines by the glass list. We first paired the meal with a chilled Beaujoulais followed by an Austrian Blaufrankish. Both were perfect choices. We will definitely look forward to returning to try their regular menu which is available the rest of the week.

    The perfect place for anyone who loves a chill, but upscale dining experience with some amazing menu items! The Elote is to die for, the duck is amazing, the naan is buttery soft, the drinks were perfectly crafted. The table next time me had a hugeeee tomahawk steak and they had a completely different dining experience, so we will definitely be going back to try that steak!

    The food was amazing and pretty affordable considering the restaurant owner won a very prestigious challenge amongst the worlds greatest chefs, no exaggeration. Watch the final plate on Netflix. Won’t give any spoilers but an amazing competition but back to the restaurant at hand. Food was great and service recommended most of what we ordered. Immediately the waiter noticed our table was wobbly and fixed it right away. Sommelier was awesome and everyone was ver friendly. Loved the atmosphere warm and rustic. I liked the noise level it was a bit loud but felt lively and happening. Would definitely go again. Considering quality of food the price was not bad. Wine was amazing and the timing of the food was perfect.

    I've been excited to try Otium for a few years but overall it was just solid. Nothing especially great but nothing bad. Food was all good but there is far better food in this city. Service was kind and attentive. We were on the patio next to a large table of loud kids, not a ding against Otium, just not the ambiance I was expecting. Great location for a good meal after a show or art exhibit but overall just average and on the pricey side.

    My friend and I are serious about our food, and Otium never disappoints. We return whenever we can, and despite firm promises among ourselves to try new things, we inevitably fail to move on from the roasted marrow emulsion. Many thanks, too, to the chef for accommodating my friend's allergies to pork, goat cheese, and cauliflower. Another delicious meal, and very fun wine list full of interesting and unusual options. How often does one find blaufrankish or vermentino on a menu? (Rhetorical: not often!) We will be back.

    We had dinner on a Wed evening. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. Everything was great per usual. We've been several times over the yrs. The food and service has been great! We shared King Salmon Tartare, Mixed Greens w/beets, Crispy Pork Belly, and the Spinach Bucatini Pasta. All were very good but our fav was the Pasta as well as the complimentary Birthday dessert which was a Lime Cilantro Sorbet. Delicious 😋! Topped off by a knowledgeable server. Can't wait to return!

    We would come back, their pasta and deserts are great. We did not like any of the appetizers other than the little gem beet salad. The steak tartar and pigtails had too much peppercorn and were too heavy. The bone marrow dip was pretty good. They all reminded me of home cooked Hungarian food flavors, but they were heavy and as I said too peppery. However, the russel potato gnocchi was fantastic and the roasted chicken moist and very flavorful. The skin was extra delicious! We absolutely adored our desert, the mixed berry frangipane crostata. Their espresso martini w the nutmeg is also excellent. We would definitely revisit and try more fish and dried, cured meat dishes.

    Hostess couldn’t locate my reservation. When she did she said I was first to arrive. I waited in the lounge area before my already seated guests saw me and called me over. I ordered a tomato juice. When the waitress said she didn’t think they had any I then ordered a Diet Coke. A half hour later after I received my entree, the Diet Coke showed up. Despite special advance notes that my guest was vegan, there were no vegan entrees offered. Moreover besides not having tomato juice, they also had no Pinot Grigio and neither decaf coffee nor decaf espresso. I loved the soft shell shrimp dish- my vegan friend had the smallest portion of carrots for dinner and my berry crostata was just soso.
