Out of the Fire
The sweet potato soup with lime sour cream was delicious. Highly recommend this treat!
Always delicious, fresh, healthy and different menu choices. Excellent!
We were in Easton for an art show. One of the artists we know suggested dinner at “Out Of The Fire” so we immediately made reservations.
It appears the most popular item was their “not your typical” pizza. It smelled absolutely wonderful! (Unfortunately, I am on a diet and the cheese and flour are not on my list although they do have gluten free crusts. For the appetizers and meals, it was farm fresh and a healthy or Mediterranean cuisine. The menu is small but adventurous with a lot of interesting options.
We decided to graze with appetizers. We ordered marinated heated 3 varieties of olives, sweet potato and miso soup, fresh corn kernels with goat cheese and other tasty ingredients and my husband ordered a brown sugar ice cream from a local creamery that was rich and creamy with a
light brown sugar flavor. (I cheated on my diet to more than sample it). Everything tasted very good and satisfying.
Our server was good; but, all of the servers were definitely rushing between tables. We came in when it was getting busy and the restaurant was filled within 30 minutes. The time between our orders were slower that other restaurants; but, it was okay...we were not in a hurry to begin a long drive home.
Our server smiled only once. She seems quite stressed. We gave our server a very good rating and tip because of that night’s situation. We thought she was doing her best.
Next year we may reserve again or try one of the other restaurants in town just for something else that is different cuisine!
We will return again whenever we are in town and will recommend “Out Of The Fire” to our friends who would travel around two hours to enjoy an interesting meal.
Wonderful dinner with great friends. We all had the special pizza which was fantastic!
Still our favorite place for distinctive and delicious pizza anywhere. We drove from DC to visit the museum's craft show and have dinner at Out of the Fire before driving home the same day -- worth is for unique and creative pizza pies, knowledgeable servers who help us select our wine, and a fun and friendly vibe.
Super good food!!!
We enjoyed a great meal on a busy Friday night. The food was very fresh and excellently prepared. The service was attentive especially given a crowded restaurant. A great value for an imaginative and interesting menu.
Great food with diversity of menu items. Good choices for Vegan and accommodating. Nice relaxing atmosphere.
Out of the Fire is always a treat. From its friendly, professional staff to delicious, well-prepared food, it's definitely worth a visit ... or many visits!
The butternut squash soup was a treat. Just enough of a bite to make the flavor interesting. Our pizza with its gluten free crust was amazing! It really is my favorite place in Easton.
Simply amazing. Great service. (Thanks, Heather.). See you soon!
Lovely restaurant in historic Easton. Many kinds of pizza (!) but we enjoyed seafood with an Italian twist. Original paintings on the walls - most for sale. Like having dinner in a gallery. Excellent service and very nice space between tables in this fairly narrow space. Thanks for a great dinner.
A fun place to go with wonderful staff and interesting/original food.
Our pizza was not very good (dry) but our scallops were outstanding. I will certainly go again and maybe get a different pizza.
Great meal every time
Convenient to Avalon theater p
This place never disappoints! Love the menu, love the service, love the owner! The art work is always so amazing to look at while enjoying an incredible meal!
Creative menu carefully crafted in open kitchen. Owner always about chatting with patrons. Always fresh ingredients and every changing menu and wine list.
Love the lamb (lunch) dish!!!
Heather is a lovely Server!
Everything was great, except I would not order the Sangria again.
The food has always been excellent, as well as the service, the crab salad was the best! The noise level is just a bit too noisy for me, but it does get crowded on Friday nights, so it's to be expected. Always love the pizza!
Great restaurant w/ very knowledgeable staff; great food. French wine that waitress selected was wonderful.
Thx much, George Reagle.
Fabulous restaurant1 Ate there both nights we were in the area. interesting, yummy, unique flavors.
This was the second time we’ve been to this restaurant while visiting in the area. The food is the star by far...dishes are inventive, unique and full of flavor. Staff, including the owner, are friendly, gracious and attentive (but not over solicitous). Drinks are also very good.
Atmosphere has a funky-local, eclectic vibe that seems like it evolved over time versus being specifically planned/designed. There feels like there’s two different style to the restaurant between the front & the back...the front feeling a bit cheap in terms of tables, chairs and cold, fluorescent-like lighting and the back having more intimate tables, booths and warmer lighting. But this doesn’t take away from the deliciousness of the food or the friendly service - just an observation. Will definitely come back for a third time if we’re in the area again!
Amazing food as always! We met another couple for dinner on a Friday evening and enjoyed the great atmosphere, service and wine selection along with our meals. Everyone enjoyed their menu choices, service was wonderful and we never felt rushed!
The. Food was delicious and the service was great! The atmosphere is very good...unique and fun.
Always great food in a terrific environment. We will definitely be back!
I found the space appealing and comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I had an early supper of a Calabrese pizza and thought it was delicious. Large enough to bring four slices home and enjoy later. Moderately priced food really worth eating. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular. A definite must when in Easton!
The food and experience at Out of the Fire are always top notch. The best restaurant overall in Talbot County, in my opinion.
I love this place! In particular, I enjoy the gluten free naan bread with assorted spreads and gluten free pizza. The only thing I’d change about this visit was my soup. It was delicious but served cold. I ended taking it home to heat it because I cannot wrap my head around cold soup! Gluten free brownie was delicious as well! I am so appreciative to have so many GF options!!!
The food we enjoyed was creatively prepared and delicious. I had the swordfish and I would highly recommend it. The service was wonderful. We will most definitely return.
Excellent food and outstanding service.
Food was excellent. Noise level was not an issue at the beginning of our dining experience but as the restaurant filled it approached an unacceptable level for my liking. Initially waiter was very attentive but then became less so - spent a great deal of time at an adjacent table. Several times he walked past our table when there were fishes that should have been removed.
What a find! The cuisine is highly creative and absolutely scrumptious, and the service is first rate. My husband and I will be talking about this experience for a long time to come, and we can hardly wait to visit Easton again for an encore trip to Out of the Fire!
We love Out if the Fire - our go to restaurant in Easton. Had the trout which was outstanding.
We were in Easton on business and had heard that Out of the Fire was a good restaurant. We were not disappointed! The lamb was outstanding, and when next we are in Easton we will manage to schedule our appointment so that we can repeat the experience.
We have been to Out of the Fire a number of times and it's consistently good. The service is usually outstanding. I found the menu a bit uninspiring this time, to be frank. Everything was good but I thought the overall selection wasn't terribly interesting. They change the menu seasonally and also have daily specials, so perhaps the selection just wasn't for me. But everything is fresh and nicely presented.
This restaurant was actually recommended to us by a server in a different restaurant. We had a wonderful meal. The charred broccoli and the beet appetizers were unique and delicious, despite the fact that I am not that into broccoli or beets. Seared scallops were awesome, as was the accompanying sauce. My wife and daughter split a pizza, which they greatly enjoyed. Service and ambience were top notch.
Favorite restaurant in Easton ! we have never been disappointed. The menu is not huge but they have great daily specials.
We had an early dinner, just after they opened for the evening. Food, service and ambiance were all great. We recommend Out of the Fire.
Out of the Fire is a perennial favorite. While other restaurants come and go, Owner Amy Haines keeps OOTF fresh, year in, year out. Great menu, which changes seasonally, and very thoughtful wine and beer lists.
