Pamplemousse Le Restaurant
Garlic, Parsley & Beurre Blanc, Touch of Pernod
Sauteed Green Asparagus
Great local restaurant with an Excellant menu, service and value.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. The main waiter was outstanding, giving suggestions and very accommodating to our requests, we've been to a lot of Vegas restaurants and this guy raised the bar. The portions were a little small by Vegas standards, but very tasty. Great evening thanks to all the great staff...
We were so looking forward to enjoying our anniversary dinner at Pamplemousse. But, the food was absolutely terrible. Two of us ordered chicken cordon bleu, which was not on the regular menu. It was an old piece of frozen chicken, had no flavor, and the sauce and rice were just as bad. The other two of us had steak, a ribeye and a hangar, and neither was very good. The service was great, but the food was a huge disappointment. We paid $340 for that! Never again.
This place is living on its reputation. The bread was stale. The lamb hops were tasteless and tough. The filet mug on was not edible. You get better meat at Denny’s. The French fries were soggy and not fit for human consumption. Lava cake dessert was ok but go to Roys for a really good one
Food was excellent aside from the default french fries that come with entres. French fries with a filet mignon, really? The decor was nice enough but definitely outdated, and the area this is in is sketchy at best, not a nice part of the city to be in.
I used to come here 20 years ago. It has really gone done. Our server was so strange. It took forever just to order our first drink, the decor and flooring is awful and some of the food at our table was great, and some did not like their meal. At the end, we were overcharged for beer and it was resolved.
I love the old school vibe, but this place truly needs some TLC. I’m not thinking full makeover, but definitely a touch up. Note: no issue with the food, just the decor.
I have eaten here a few times over the past 10 years. I will not go back unless I know they have made some updates.
A Vegas vintage gem - very romantic! Loved the quaint setting.
As my wife said, 'this place is cute'. The atmosphere is 'throwback to the 60s and very classic and cozy. They start you off with a complimentary vegetable tray that could be a meal if you ate it all. The food is great, especially the Foie gras and French Onion soup as starters. The main entree portions are huge, so one can easily satisfy two persons.
Always a great experience at Pamplemousse
Old Vegas! What a treat! I half expected Dan Tanna to walk in...
We come here at least twice a year for Valentines Day and also our Anniversary. We love the feeling when in the resturant of not being in Vegas. The food is always delicious and the wine is great.
Always enjoy Pamplemousse. It is a Las Vegas classic. Magnificent food, attentive but not intrusive service, fair price for an outstanding, first-tier meal. Here's hoping this wonderful restaurant can keep on keeping on following the death of George's -- and, ahem, the departure of that fabulous maitre d' Keifer. Parking is, and has ever been, the only downside to this classic place.
Food & service were superb. It probably was the best rack of lamb I have ever had. Roast duck was incredible.
One of the hidden gems of this city. Great food/service/ambiance that belies the fact that you're in Vegas. An absolute must visit whenever you're in town. We had not been there in a few years but delighted to find it was as charming and delicious as we remembered.
We are long time Las Vegans - this was a restaurant we had always wanted to visit but just never did. What a BIG mistake! Atmosphere was wonderful, staff fantastic and food out of this world. We will go back..... For tourists this is a great location and easy to get to from the strip - we highly recommend it.
For locals we would say it is a MUST go to.
Very welcoming. Excellent service. Food excellent. Ambience a little dated. Location difficult without a car.
Every thing about Pamplemousse Le Restaurant was perfect. we both tried different items from their prefix menu and everything was excellent. We will go here every time we are in Las Vegas. Such a wonderful change from casino dining!
Superb service and a delightful dining experience. Fine dining as it should be. You won't be disappointed.
Wife’s fillet was over cooked and tough. My rack of lamb was cooked medium but the gravy that came with it was thick and overpowering for the meat. Ambiance is awesome. Would go back if food improves.
We ate there 2 nights in a row. Very good food. Duck was excellent and The Wild boar, rack of lamb and lamb shank were very good.
Get reservations, but go! We absolutely loved this hidden gem. Just a bit off the strip, but well worth it. Intimate, cozy, with amazing food and service. For this level of quality, the prices are actually a great value. It's not cheap, but prices are crazy on the Strip for much less quality.
A Jewel! 5-stars*
We had a wonderful experience from the minute we walked in the door! Try the bore! Try the escargot! Just try it! You’ll be glad you did! Delicious!
Second trip there in 2 years to entertain customers. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the food! Great alternative to the restaurants on the strip or inside a hotel.
Eat there every time I’m in Vegas. Great atmosphere and service.
John was so professional and knowledgeable of the menu and flavors. From start to finish of our meal was spectacular. The presentation of all the courses and t;e staff make every occasion ... A special one. Go to this restaurant and you will not be disappointed.

Extraordinary as usual! One of our “go to” restaurants when we are in Vegas AND when we lived there. Highly recommend it to everyone. John (our waiter) was wonderful! In a (French) word: Incroyable!
We had a great 5 course meal tonight. The escargot, lamb shank, duck and souffle were amazing. The servers were attentive. We can't wait to return.
We visited this restaurant with friends for dinner. The food was excellent. I had a rib eye steak that was absolutely perfectly prepared and the other people said that their food was excellent as well. The service however, left something to be desired. It was rather brusque and the desert was served before all the people were finished with their entrees. The décor and atmosphere is "grown up" with a quite, romantic feel rather than "jumping vibe".
The food had absolutely no flavor. We were four people with four different appetizers and entrees. Every dish lacked seasoning. It was awful
We were worried when we saw the place (not impressive from the exterior and "far" off The Strip) and when soon after we walked in the manager apologized for perhaps not getting them on their best night because of all the CES customers. Well, if this wasn't the best night, I wonder what is the best night. Service was very good; manager (John) was very attentive; and food was quite good in terms of taste, presentation, and portions). Strongly recommend doing one of the set menus. Some decent wines by the glass.
Las Vegas hidden gem well worth searching out. Fantastic food and professional service.
The waiter was curt and very unfriendly. The food was just ok and not worth the prices charged. The place is a great old Vegas restaurant but as a native I was disappointed.
When In Las Vegas I never miss eating there. It's always perfect.
Celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary at is outstanding restaurant ....service, foods,,ambiance were outstanding. What a perfect night....thank you
only had peking duck for 2 it was great
Thoroughly old school. Quiet converted house, funky Paris Pied-à-terre interior.
Pris fixe menu is a great value. 5 courses for $58. Every bite was delicious and each dish was a hearty portion. We expected mini desserts but they were huge!
My favorite was a palate cleanser of grapefruit sorbet with a champagne floater! Heaven!
Parking for about 7 cars. You may want to do a rideshare.
Service was poor. Couldn't keep which course we were on straight. Had to ask for more bread, more water. Out of filet mignon and replaced it with ribeye.which was not cooked to order.
We have been frequenting this lovely, quaint restaurant for its wonderful ambiance and great food. Many of our special occasions have been celebrated there. However, this Christmas was not a good example of our past experiences. The staff was stressed and literally told us about it. Our dinner was tainted by a rushing staff with scowled faces. Then, our chocolate souffle was served to us flattened halfway down into the dish. We couldn't eat it and so shared the creme brulee. I hope this lovely place somehow can revisit the cause for the stress on Christmas and remedy it so it does not cause further disappointment to this normally wonderful dining experience.
