We went to have dinner for my wife's birthday. There were very few diners (because of the Coronavirus situation). But the atmosphere was calm and lovely. The food spectacular, and the service by Juve, our server, was outstanding. We had a totally enjoyable dinner. A couple of hours after we returned home, it was announced that all restaurants in L.A. would be closed for dining-in as of the next morning. So glad we got to enjoy this restaurant before everything shut down.

This was a wonderful dining experience. 10 of my colleagues and I had dinner at this restaurant on Sunday and the owner graciously seated us in a private room in the back. It was quiet, intimate and the service was impeccable. The food came out in a timely manner. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! Everyone got different items and they all loved every dish. We will definitely come back to this restaurant! Thank you!

The food and service was excellent. We chose it as we thought it was a place we could talk. We found the noise level annoying and it detracted from the experience.
Before heading to a fundraising event, my husband and I decided to come to Panzanella for the first time. I cannot believe we had never been to this restaurant before considering it’s blocks away from our house. We have frequent standbys that are our go to’s. I am so glad we decided to come here. The ambiance is wonderful, people actually get dressed up for dinner and the old fashions are to die for. The food was spectacular. Order the lamb chops! Super yum and my husband had the bass. Excellent service and food. We will definitely be back.

Attractive lowly lit dining room with table cloths. Large menu with interesting specials. I had the wild boar ragu with papardelle. Very tasty. My husband had the squid ink risotto with seafood. Also delicious. Perfect romantic date place or place to go with another couple.

Wish it were closer. We’d use it for everyday dining instead of just birthdays, etc. Also wish there were more street parking. I generally won’t give my car to a valet. But street parking is very scarce there, so be forewarned! It turned out that we Ubered there and back this latest time so that wasn’t so bad-and I could celebrate our birthday girl with a second drink!!
Great restaurant and good location for us in Sherman Oaks. We did have kind of a problem talking (2 of us) as it was Really loud, but it was very busy and that is a good sign for sure! Very good wait staff. great table
Had the eggplant Parmesan for appetizer and the Osso Buco for entree. Had a bottle of prisoner cab which topped it off. be back soon.
Food was a little overrated. Pizza was pretty good, salad was OK and was disappointed in my Spaghetti Frutti di Mare. Came out cold and the fish wasn't very tasty. Dessert and service was good, but probably won't go back because the food overall was mediocre.

Every time I’m there, the food is always amazing. I take friends there all the time that have never eaten there, they leave & day how much they enjoyed their food. We had the apple tart dessert that takes 10 minutes to make. I’m not. Dessert person though this was really good.

The staff is very nice, but honestly for the money I can name five places off the top of my head in Los Angeles with equal or better Italian food for 2/3 of the price. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good and the wine menu extensive, but there are other places with equal or better food which you can also enjoy. Also, for some reason the soup and salad were served very quickly but the fish took about a half hour as our entrée.

We went to this restaurant because it is a nice place to eat with friends, however, it was probably way
too noisy to talk much. The food was good - explanations could have been better regarding description of
menu. The fish was wonderful - the chicken marsala was much too dry - It needed a sauce with it - marinara and pasta would have been nice. I like this restaurant but because of the noise level, don't think my husband will come back. The rooms in the back are probably much better. So next time I will try to
make reservaion in the smaller rooms.
We specifically ordered a quiet table and came at 5:30 before it did get noisy. We were given a quiet table. Even as more diners came in and noise went up, our table was still good. We left at 7:10 PM, Saturday, February 8, 2020. Dinner was delicious, excellent, out waiter William was also excellent, not overbearing. I'll try Celestino's in Pasadena as well. Thank you. Ada Gates
The food is always amazing. 10 minutes into eating my spaghetti I could still see steam coming off my food. My meal never got cold. I am always happy with the service and the food. I made reservations in advance since I was there for a birthday dinner. They have valet, though if you can find parking on the street I recommend it, since valet is $8.00. After tip it's $10.00. I would rather spend that on the food.
The ambiance is nice for an expensive restaurant. The food was very good and the waiter was helpful in selecting our wine choice. Expect to pay close to $100/person by the time the evening is over.
Been there before and will go back again. Only drawback is it’s very loud and hard to have a conversation. Also tables are close together which I think is part of the loudness issue.
Been coming here for years and we’ve always loved it. It’s been our ‘go to’ for nice dinners on the east side of the Valley. However, this time and the last 2 times, it’s fell short. The chef is heavy-handed with the salt. The servers have changed and are not as attentive. And, our favorite hostess doesn’t seem to be there as much. Additionally, this time, one of their forks cut the inside of my mouth when I looked at it closely after it cut me, it looked like it had been mangled. I told both a busboy and our waiter. Neither seemed particularly concerned. In the past, I am sure someone would have brought it to the owner’s attention (he was there that night) but nothing was said or done. Disappointing that one of our favorites is now not.
The food was good and the menu had good choices. Our waiter was terrible from the start. I brought a very expensive albeit relatively young bottle of Cabernet and requested him to decant it. He spent quite awhile arguing with me that a young cab didn't need to be decanted. I'm confident he was not a sommelier. Also my wife has some severe allergies and presents a laminated card to servers when we eat out so they can present to the kitchen. This takes the pressure off the server and eliminates any chance of a communication error. 99.9% of servers are grateful. We argued for quite some time before he agreed to bring the card to the kitchen. He continued with being very inattentive. Finally, I had enough and went to the manager. He apologized profusely, spoke to the server and tried to make it up to us. The server never apologized and concluded the evening with the same bad service and attitude. I will try it one more time because the Manager made a significant effort.

We always have a wonderful meal at Panzanella. The services is excellent and the food outstanding. There is always something new on the menu! Their desserts are so tasty as well. A very lovely and sumptuous dinning experience in the Valley!!!

My favorite restaurant and I go there often ! Can’t go wrong with anything you order there . If you’re a truffle lover try their truffle pizza that they have on their special menu , it’s out of this world . Pasta meals the best !!! Over all their foods are amazing.

37th wedding anniversary and I wanted a more elegant setting with good food, and that is what Panzanella is. Great ambiance, incredible service and good food made for a wonderful night. It is a bit pricey, and the corkage fee of 30 dollars is criminal, but it is a great place to celebrate.
Loved the food and decor, but the room was extremely noisy. It was difficult to have a conversation.
Been here several times. First time I was disappointed. Food was fair at best. My chicken scaloppini was very dry and bland. Staff and service was very good.
