Piccolino Manchester

Excellent food, lovely decor in the restaurant and wonderful service. Friendly and attentive. The staff did a splendid job singing happy birthday! However It was a bit warm at the table we were sat at, but that's very minor. Overall great place for special occasions.

I love love Piccolino. The food is always FABULOUS and the staff are FANTASTIC and very friendly and very efficient. BEST restaurant in Manchester city.

We visited piccolinos prior to going to a concert at the Etihad. The service, food and ambience was fantastic - will definitely return!

We had a great experience for dinner at Piccolino’s. Great menu with huge choice. Service at the bar before we sat down at our table was very generous, set the tone for the evening. I use the London Piccolino’s regularly, and this compares very favourably.

Fantastic full breakfast and coffee.. Service was very slow. staff shortage we thought. But still would go back.

From the friendly greeting on arrival to the goodbye smile everything was perfect. The staff are great and the food is always amazing. I've never had a bad meal there and would highly recommend going again.

It's was okay service was good but food over priced. It wasn't anything special and cost a lot more than other meals ive had in Manchester which were far superior. They charged 10% service charge for a party of 4! Wouldn't go back in a hurry.

I have been to Piccolino quite a few times this year. It has been consistently good which is my client is happy to go to the same place each time despite there being a lot of choice in the City Centre. Good food and service

Could not fault this restaurant, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. The food was lovely, great pizzas. Service was quick but we had requested that on the basis that we were going to the theatre.

Fab restaurant , great food and wonderful staff

The service couldn’t be faulted, the food however was not satisfactory for 2 out of 4 diners. The starters of mussels looked plentiful but were luke warm probably due to being served in a cold bowl. My main course of crab ravioli was undercooked and again served on a cold plate and cold. Due to this being a special occasion and not wanting to spoil the evening we didn’t complain but won’t be rushing back in a while!

The ambiance is unparalleled and the food was excellent. The service, though very friendly, was erratic. Three waiters asking to take out order, but then when we had placed a starter order the waiter disappeared and never came back! Overall a good experience, but from of house needs some process.

Dinner was with friends and whilst the welcome was warm when we sat down were left to wait for 15 mins or so without any drinks order, etc.
Food quality was good.
Service was poor throughout with our server looking distracted...maybe he had too many tables? To the point of at the end of the meal had empty plates on table for 15 mins+ and had to ask a manager to clear them.
Wouldn't go again based on this first visit.

Very enjoyable evening with my daughter. Very pleasant staff. Our waitress was Greek. She really did go the extra mile in serving us just what we wanted. The training in this establishment is obviously very good. The menu choices are good and varied and the produce is very fresh. Good food. Would prefer side dishes and potatoes to be served as a complete meal without charging extra but that’s my only negative. Service prompt and food presentation good. Will be visiting again.

Wonderful atmosphere, service was impeccable, High quality ingredients cooked with the same standards. First class experience without paying the highest prices. you can tell the staff all care about the business and your experience.

Been there 4 or 5 times in the last year for mainly business lunch and a dinner, mostly with clients. It has been consistent each time, this time being just as good as all the others.

I have had steaks, pasta, pizza, fish and this time the chicken escalope with spaghetti. Always find the service to be good

Picolinos lived up to its excellent reputation as a great Manchester restaurant. The atmosphere was friendly, service efficient and the food of the highest quality. We had fish which was deftly served at the table and was really well-cooked. We had an enjoyable evening and would recommend the restaurant to others

Whilst we had a lovely meal with excellent service and food, we were seated downstairs and had staff taking rubbish away from the kitchen to the storage area and then taking food to the kitchen through all the diners. It sort of broke the spell of a really enjoyable evening. We thought that they could quite easily take part of the dining room away and build a corridor so that diners did not have to see this and also did not feel the icy draught that came across every time the door was opened. Also we were so close to the couples next to us that we found it difficult to hear each other over their conversations. It will not put us off going again but we will insist on a table on street level.

Once again Picollino Manchester delivered great food, fantastic atmosphere and trouble free service, loved it!

Second visit by a group of friends gathered from all over UK. We loved it just as much.

We had an enjoyable early evening meal that was good value for money, well cooked and tasty. The service was very good and amenable and nothing was too much. Would certainly go back again.
