Buffet food terrible. Half hot items were cold and tasteless. Not appetizing. What a far cry from the old trackside and Pegasus restaurants at the old location.
Staff so non-energetic. Depressing atmosphere
It was ok, just ok. At one point salad dish was
empty and took a few minutes to refill. With
respecting the carving station, you could only
get meat very rare. It was the only way it was
We were told that we would not be in Pink due to lack of people. We were put in Trotters Restaurant which was filled to capacity! It was very crowded, felt like people were sitting on top of each other. Food was better in Pink. Was told the menu was the same, but not so.
My wife and I visited on a Saturday as part of our trip to New York from Scotland. Straight away we were made to feel very welcome and were given a table right at the window with great views of the track. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were great. It was a steak carvery buffet style and the food overall was fantastic. The chef even came out later on to ask the different tables how the food was which was a great touch. He seemed like the type of guy that if anyone had any minor complaints he would take it on board and look to given reasons or improve. No issues from us though and would certainly be somewhere we would attend again.
The executive chef Dennis did a great job cooking tonight! Exciting time had by all. We actually won a few races. Lots of fun in a relaxing atmosphere. Will come again with a larger group.
The food was fresh and plentiful. The staff was great and the best thing was it was a buffet served by gloved staff and not everyone helping themselves. I am looking forward to our next trip to Pink. Keep up the good work by the Meadowlands race track in hiring a tremendous chef and staff.
I think that the buffet is a great value for the money. The venue is nice and the quality of the food is excellent.
The service could be better and I think it is because you might need more help.
The people were very nice and professional.
I would recommend Pink to others.
It's been a longtime since I have been at the track, and eating at Pink was a nice surprise, the food was great and the service was wonderful.
Only if they are going to bet and are hungry. Not necessarily for a dining experience
The way the dining was promoted I thought it was going to be a nicer experience in sense where the ambience would not look like a sports center . Of course is like a race track venue - but the dining just seem so much more to it online
I wish the service was more attentive. Food is pretty good. We had to wait too long for drink refills and our check.
The buffet was not held in Pink but the club room so the view of the track wasn’t as good. I spoke to the chef regarding my food allergies (celiac & soy) as I had indicated in my reservation. There were only a few items I could eat (salad) On the buffet so the chef said he would prepare some items gluten and soy free for me. However he never came back and I ate salad that cost $40.
I will recommend pink on the third floor but not the trotters club it was over booked and very loud and no room to get through to the stations
SMH!!! They closed pink rest. due to what i was told not enough reservations!!! So the genius in charged put all people that had them into there other rest. that was half as big as pink. totally full!!!. Did not eat there!!!! Makes no sense what so ever!!!!!! to put put close as hand and hand to eat dinner!!!! No reason why thay could of opened pink rest. and make everyone have space and relax and enjoy themselves!!!!!!1
Such a great experience for my first time at Pink. Food and desserts were very good, service was great!! Will definitely be back!
Service was very slow ,the food was excellent, we got to meet Dennis the chef he was awesome
Service from Diane was excellent.
The roast pig was delicious!!
Lots of fun and food was fantastic
Was a nice way to attend the races. Everything was so convenient.
I made reservations but when we got there our table was not set up. The waitress was finding water glass's and silverware to set in front of us. Food was pretty good but they ran out of shrimp that was on the menu. For two people at the table who didn't eat meat the shrimp was important protein. Other then that we still had fun so I would recommend it to a friend.
Excellent Experience. Well Worth It. Would Go Back Again.
First time there since the old Trackside. Loved the waitress Serv is of trackside but the buffet style was fine. The food selection was sweet and the food was excellent. It was nice to be in a sort of private setting. Will definitely be back.
If you like the racetrack
Pink was closed and we had to go to Trotters which was on the second floor. When we arrived (2 of us) they informed us they had no tables for 2 and we had to sit in either a fold down chair by the window or living room chair at a ledge not even big enough to comfortably hold our plates. Food was sub-par, with hardly 1/4th the selection that Pink usually has. In addition no server except for one who was there to be the meat carver. Hardly any desserts. And they charged the same price as if we were at Pink. I would be prone to recommending Pink but certainly not Trotters.
As always the best food at great prices they go above and beyond every time you go food and service excellent I want to shout out to the chef who always comes around to check on you he took the time last night to talk with my father last night they wound up have some mutual friends if you haven’t been it’s always a great night thanks meadowlands
Pink was closed they put us in the trotters room it was all good food was fantastic service was great had a great time
Great night with friends at the track. You can’t beat the price for quality buffet and excitement of watching the races.
We had 8pm reservations there was hardly any food left and was never replenished..zero dessert left on table..reservations shud be coordinated with food supply..we paid full dinner price for snack portions
Food was great! I’m not sure if it was worth $40 a person, but food was still good! Maybe include the drink like most other buffets? I’d still do it again!
Not like the old Pegasus ,that’s all I can say, dodge betters with your plate of food to your table,no menu to order other things would be nice or wager.
Odd experience. Pink is the dining area of the Meadowlands Racetrack. I was told in advance that there weren't enough reservations on a Sat. evening for the dining room to open. Instead the buffet would be served in an a club called Trotters. When I arrived I was told it was too busy for me to be seated at a table. Instead,I had the option of sitting at the bar or at a seat with a counter where I could eat and watch the races. I understand I was by myself but no table availability when I was told it was too slow to open the dining room? Anyway, I opted for the seat with the counter. The seat was very comfortable and eating on the small counter was fine. The buffet was average to very good depending on what you ate. The service was outstanding and very attentive and friendly. The price was fair considering it's an all night affair for purposes of racing. The seating was trackside and there where many well situated TV's for simulcast and sporting events. If your primary objective is to watch racing I would say it was a worthwhile and highly enjoyable experience.
Sat nite at the Meadowlands, i struck out betting the horses but, once again, the buffet dinner was a home run. CHEF DENNIS presented us with a wonderful selection of salads, meats, pastas, potatoes and veggies topped off by the always terrific dessert bar. Additionally, his concerns for his customers' satisfaction was top-notch. Looking forward to my next dining experience at PINK.
HARRY SNYDER, more than satisfied customer.
I think the service was very nice The Waitresses were polite I do like the hot dog truck the desserts were all good I would like more of a carbon station either roast beef turkey in a prime rib at least two to three choices would be elegant I would still go back there again thank you
Service was terrible. Had to get my drinks myself. Had to clean my own table. Terrible.
For a night at the race track it cant get any better. It is a very relaxing fun and classy evening.
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very enjoyable as well.
Not enough reservations so pink was closed, the food was only ok the buffet is much better at pink
the chef is doing a fantastic job.....fresh salads, fresh entres and deserts
The chef is outstanding he always comes out greats his patrons and is generally interested in what they have to say
The food was great and you can't beat the view. It would be nice if kids were cheaper. $20 per kid and they each had a hot dog and a cannoli.
"Hot" food quality was mediocre at best and room temperature. Salads and desserts were fine. Not worth 40/person. Waiter was not very responsive. Didn't refill wife's soda or either of our coffees. Took lemon (used for water) away with dinner plates when we were still drinking water.
