   Lovely restaurant with brilliant service. Food was good I would say but not exceptional. We had an enjoyable evening really nice atmosphere and lovely view at night.

   Dinner twice at Plateau due to its good atmosphere and location. Both time ordered fillet steak at medium rare and turned out to be well done / medium well. Other food is decent enough. Last visit at Tuesday night, full house and staff obviously not sufficient. Empty glasses some times for 15 min. Disappointing dinner.

   stunning views in a high end setting. The chef works a wonder and the wine list is very inviting. This is an ideal spot for a conversation or a celebration, where I feel highly valued

   Never been disappointed with the food. Fish courses are excellent. Visited on a Friday and it was unfortunately very quiet and missed a bit of ambiance.

   Amazing food, attentive staff and wonderful location. The restaurant is looking tired though and desperately needs refurbishment. Carpets are stained, chipped paint on walls and tables scuffed. A restaurant of this calibre should not be let down by the decor.

    Always a good option in Canary Wharf. Still the best view in the neighbourhood. Food is of high standard. Love that they have calories on the menu now.

    No nibbles served with champagne. No chef appetiser before dessert, no chocolate or biscuit with coffee. Raviole starter was a compact mashed up filling in a very thin soup. Sea bream was very good. Chocolate dessert was very compact, heavy and not that chocolatey in taste. Loved the decor, ambiance and view but let down by the food and especially at that price level.

    We had the brunch with rose, the food and service was excellent and we had a great time. The music was a too loud though, had to raise my voice and ended up with a sore throat.

    Been to Plateau twice now and I must say, it didn't disappoint.. the service very helpful and pleasant, the food... absolutely delicious and well presented. Will definitely go back again!

    The staff were attentive and the place oozed quiet sophistication. The view over Canary wharf is amazing. So if it's comfort and atmosphere you're after, Plateau is the place for you. The food, on the other hand, was indifferent at best. My started was a blob of tasteless cheese with a few leaves. The gnocchi was horrible. Only the wine and creme brûlée were good. We would be ashamed to serve this to distant relatives. But at least we wouldn't charge them £70 a head.

    Slow service. Kept getting our cocktail orders wrong. Lighting was bright. Very good food but expensive. Nice date night. Probably wouldn’t go back but would recommend to go at least once.

    Food was ok although sold out of one of the two fish dishes from the main course by 7pm on a Saturday. Very slow service, we felt quite forgotten as seated in the back of the restaurant. We had to ask for a soup spoon as the waiter forgot to place it on the table.

    Booked this place for our Valentine’s Day! Total disaster! 1. The seating was bad even though they had window seating they didn’t give us. 2. The starter - ravioli was so dry! 3. The turbot which my wife ordered was undercooked and was unable to take the flesh off the bone. 4. Desserts were very average. 5. Had to wait for a bill for like 15-20 mins. So to be honest I will never go back more recommend. Regards Vishnu

    Set menu was good value - decent portions of both steak and trout, ham terrine was very large and all was tasty. Desserts a little poorer, cheesecake was fine but bland and prune a strange choice to accompany and chocolate creme brulee was basically chocolate mousse but fine. Were asked several times for our table back after about an hour which may have been a genuine mistake but was annoying when the booking is clearly a 2 hour slot. Also only a soft drink available as a swap for the fizz for non drinkers which was a shame.

    Love the environment, the interior, the decor and the setting of Plateau - romantic, spacious, elegant, comfy yet modern. We ordered the set menu - the starters and the mains are great! The smoked salmon was lovely, as well as the flat iron, and the truffle frites - will definitely recommend. However, AVOID THE DESSERTS!!! They are horrible and such a disappointment. The texture and taste of the dark chocolate crème brûlée…I can’t even take a second bite. And for the cheese cake…I can get better cheesecake from Waitrose… The service was great as well, so overall, it’s a great restaurant, just that the ending was kinda a disaster.

    Great Food, Great Service very happy. Last time we ate here there was a slight hiccup with our orders. The management had made a note of this and discounted our whole bill by 30% . We are regulars and will continue to be regulars at this great restaurant.

    Their quality has dropped since the last time we visited. The meal selection has been reduced and the variety has worsened as a result of this. Although the menu was specifically printed for 2 days, one of the meals was unavailable due to unavailable protein. For a French restaurant to be told that they don't have any bread available is quite a shame as well.

    Very poor service and most staff going through the motions. We were shown to a table next to the kitchen and asked if it was OK, but she was already walking away before she finished the question. We also saw a couple’s food sit for 10 mins on the serving station before being served. Also had to ask for salt for both mains as they were unseasoned (very rare for my wife to add salt to any dish!). Apart from the mains, the starters and desserts were ok, but not memorable. We won’t be back!

    Very warm welcome at the plateau restaurant, although we were 30 minutes late trying to find the parking there was a great spot reserved for us, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and revisit it again in the future.
