Ba is a bit noisy but the patio room is lovely. Food is very good.
Dinner was delicious and drinks were tasty. Server was fantastic.
As always, great meal at Plumsteadville Inn. It's our go-to spot
Outstanding brunch setup.
Chicken pot pie was great
My wife had the Cobb salad. She loved it everything was fresh and well put together. I had the Chicken parmigiana. It was cooked perfectly and the Panko breading was light and crispy. My wife and I shared the Bavarian pretzels for an appetizer and they hot, fresh and tasted great. Overall a very nice dining experience.
Sat in the bar. Lou, the singer/guitarist was wonderfully talented and a perfect accompaniment to our meal. Would go back just to hear him.
Our server, Taryn, was incredible! She was extremely personable. The spinach and artichoke dip was probably the best I ever had. My boyfriend had the Steak and Cake, I had the NY Strip and both meals were perfect. We were seated in the pub area (I indicated that I preferred a booth to a table, so that is likely why.) Next time, I'd opt for the more formal dining room for date night but it was an all-around great experience. Will definitely be back and I am excited to try their Sunday Brunch!
Food was great. We were a little cold sitting by one of the windows, but otherwise everything was great. Food came very fast.
Great selection of breakfast and lunch items. Our favorite brunch spot.
Selection of food is excellent. Staff was wonderful.
Fantastic experience. We'll be going regularly from now on!
Great night about with friends for dinner. Restaurant was very crowded. We waited in the bar area as our table wasn’t ready when we got there. Enjoyed listening to the live music playing. Our waiter Zack was great. Offered many options as it was the first time for our friends. Food served quickly and without issue. Zack was attentive our entire stay. Definitely recommend this establishment and will return for more.
It was packed so I was afraid we would get bad service. Not at all. I am glad that we sat in the side room b/c it was quiet and the rest of the place was packed and a bit noisy. The service was spot on. We got water immediately, drinks next with little wait. Food delivered and cleared on time. The menu is both casual and formal. My daughter's Steak was cooked perfectly. The food is delicious and moderately priced. Love the history of this place too. Lastly, I forgot my wallet and the manager didn't blink about letting me write a check.
Service started off fine but went downhill once our lunch was finished. The waitress disappeared and we had to wait almost 20 minutes to have our table cleared. Had to ask for coffee and was never offered dessert. Disappointing.
Would definitely go here again. Looking for a good brunch buffet in the area. This one was well done...not overwhelmly big, and neither was the price.
We had reservations for 5:30 om Saturday evening. We were told the specials and ordered a stuffed veal chop from the special items. We were very disappointed when the waitress cam back and said they were out of this special. How can you be out of a special at the beginning of a dinner service?
Great food and service, beautiful building! We were a group of ladies and we loved that we were not made to feel rushed.
great place to relax and enjoy! the Sunday brunch had a lovely assortment of goodies!
The food portions were minuscule. One small scoop of mashed potatoes, 4 small pieces of broccoli with lobster tail and filet mignon for 38 bucks plus 6 bucks for a salad. What a rip off, I didn’t get desert because I didn’t want to spend anymore money at this rip off place. I expect some mashed potatoes and broccoli when I’m paying all that money! The lobster tail was very crunchy as well. Waste of money! Definitely do not get your moneys worth eating here. It’s sad when you spend over a $100 for a dinner for two and your talking about going to McDonald’s afterward cuz your still hungry. Never coming back here again.
We had reservations for 6:30 on 2/15. Checked in to the hostess around 6:20pm. We were told we would be seated for a short while and told her we would be at the bar. Hostess walked by us several times but was seating other people. My wife went to check about our table at 6:35 and hostess told her she was looking for us and couldn't find us and did not call our name. Place was crowded probably because it was the day after valentines day. My wife ordered the surf and turf and I had the twin tales, both tasted great. My wife asked for A1 sauce but it did not arrive until she finished steak. Waitress felt bad for the wait and removed our desert from the bill. Overall a very good experience and plan to be back next Valentines Day.
Ordered the king cut prime rib came out cold and was given a Queen cut as the king is supposed to include the bone
Wife ordered the veal with crab. Crab was imitation crab. Clams casino was more breadcrumbs than anything else
Daughter ordered the artichoke with homemade chips. Chips were obviously right out of a bag.
Her crab cakes were the only highlight of the evening
It was a great experience and the service was great. We were there for Valentines Day and food was excellent.
Service was very good especially for Valentine's day dining. My wife got a $42 veal chop which was a pretty tough, but flavorful! What we DIDN'T like was that they did not honor their happy hour in the bar because it was Valentine's day. And they did not let you know that until you went to pay. Signs were still up saying it was happy hour, but they did not honor it. Barmaid gave us attitude when we questioned it.
We have been here several times. It never disappoints!
This was our first time at the Plumsteadville Inn, but certainly not our last! What a beautiful old building with a wonderful history. Our server was delightful, very efficient and attentive. The food was outstanding! It was a very special Valentine's Day dinner!
The food was outstanding as always. Our server was pleasant and attentive. I have never had a bad experience here. One of my favorite places!
The atmosphere and food was great.
I have eaten here on a few occasions and it is a really nice restaurant.
A wide selection on menu for all.
Appetizers and entrees were delicious, server was friendly and helpful :)
The brunch is delicious and so many choices. Loved my banana foster crepe! That gentleman, chef, making omlets and crepes, was kept busy. He was very friendly.
Excellent food & great service. Always a 5-star experience!
Food was wonderful and the service was fantastic!!
Went for Sunday Brunch, highly recommend coming in early (starts at 10am) great value for the price. $3 Mimosa & Bloody Mary's plus a great spread of food. Wait time with a reservation can be a tad daunting as we still have to wait 15-20 minutes to be sat even with our reservation. 4* overall though.
As usual, staff was great food was great. Always a good experience.
I have been to the Plumsteadville Inn many times over the years but I have to say this visit was very disappointing. Our waitress I think we saw maybe three times, once to introduce her self but never said her name ,second time to take our order and the last time to give us our check. We had no idea why her name was, never came to check if we needed refill, never came to check how our food came out. Like I said I’ve been here many times and never had a experience like this.
Celebrating our anniversary and went for dinner with friends. Table was ready promptly (it was an early dinner as we had plans to follow). Dining room was only about half full through our meal so it was quiet which was a nice change. We had the Kobe sliders and Cajun shrimp for appetizers which were both excellent. I had the chicken Parmesan sandwich with “Florida” (old bay seasoned) fries. Both were good. My husband had the NY strip with mashed potatoes. He said the steak was a little bland and not cooked the way he prefers but he it was “ok”. The service was excellent and the check was reasonable especially considering we had two appetizers and drinks. There were many other entrees I wanted to try on the menu so we will likely be back!
Thanks so much Dianne! Your feedback and support are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your business, we are glad to hear you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon.
I took my best friend here for her birthday lunch. The server (Jen) was amazing and answered all our questions about menu items. She was very attentive to our needs The food did not disappoint from appetizers to dessert. Soups are homemade, the meat loaf (my friend's entree) was very close to her own and excellent. My Veal Baltimore was truly wonderful. Stay for dessert -- the creme brulee is the best I've had is a very long time.
Thank you Maureen! We love getting your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to leave us a 5 star review. Thank you for your business, we hope to see you again soon.
As always, reliable service and a good meal. There was a large group that was a little loud at one end of the "porch", but we were a large group that was probably a little loud at the other end of the "porch" so I can't hold that against them.
Thank you Donna! We love getting your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to leave us a 5 star review. Thank you for your business, we hope to see you again soon.
Can get noisy especially if they have entertainment.
We are so glad you enjoyed your experience and appreciate your review. We hope to see you again soon.
A wonderful atmosphere, great bar, great food, great entertainment. Saturday evening at the Plumsteadville Inn is the perfect place to be.
