Due to covid, was shocked how packed it was and it was loud

Our waiter was great, the table behind us was loud and having some sort of issue which was distracting but our drinks made up for that!

I had out-of-town guests - one had severe dietary restrictions. All four of us had meals that often elicited the silence that accompanies the savoring of sheer bliss. In between the silences, we laughed ourselves silly, but that's another story. Seriously, great food, great staff, and wonderful ambience. We'll be back.

My lobster ravioli was very tough. The pasta was clearly way undercooked. My wife had beef Wellington and said it was great.

We ordered the Tomahawk Steak dinner. The steak was brought out to us RAW Literally. We advised the waiter and he returned it to the cook. When THE steak was brought back, it was not the same. It was smaller but cooked and the baked potato came back toasted.
Over all the ambiance the service was great but DEF will not do the Tomahawk steak ever again at this restaurant.

The sea bass was cooked perfectly. The risotto it was served on was dry.

The Chicken Vesuvio had no sauce very dry

The Chicken marsella was cool noodles were rubbery and over cooked and again no sauce. Dry.

We have eaten at Fatmans restaurants for years and have always had great food. Last night 240 dollars later. The food was below average. I don't normally review but I own several Jersey Mikes locations and I always want to know if what I serve is sub par and you will loose customers if you produce food like we had.

We enjoyed a very nice dinner with friends on a Thursday evening. The food was delicious and plentiful. Besides the Italian fare, a variety of steak and seafood dishes were on the menu, as well as a wide selection of wines. We will keep coming back!

I’ve been here many times and it’s always been great. Took another couple with us who had never been here before and they loved it. The steak trio was fantastic as usual while one of our friends had halibut and the other one had chicken pasta. Desserts were outstanding as well and once again Primo has met and exceeded our expectations

Primo has continued to serve excellent food. Just seems like prices have gone way up in recent times. Understandably, just becoming more difficult to rationalize dinner out. The Ahi Ahi was fantastic. Salads are always good. Salmon with noodles was heavier than expected. The teriyaki salmon was much more flavorful.

Staff was awesome, food was great per usual. Highly recommend!!

This was my first visit to Primo. It’s an average restaurant that thinks it’s high end dining. I’ll give it another shot but wasn’t really impressed. The food wasn’t that tasty and was overpriced. Service was good.

Service was not the greatest I am going to assume that because it was a busy time that could contributory factor. Good food great ambiance. Found glass in a drink. I will give it another try one day.

Valentines Day

Pretty good food awesome ambience, good music over all great vibe.

Took my family here for the first time. Nice restaurant and service was very good. Some of the food took awhile but on a busy night that’s ok. Kids loved their food. Wife had some delicious risotto. The low rating is because her risotto was supposed to have shrimp and it didn’t. My lobster linguine was absolutely flavorless. And the lobster tails that came with our meals were dry and rubbery. We did enjoy our desserts and the waiter got my linguine removed from my bill so it wasn’t the worst restaurant experience. Just disappointed to get geared up for a couple of signature lobster dishes and be that disappointed. The tables around us seemed very pleased with their food so that’s encouraging. Would maybe consider giving them another try.

The waitress was phenomenal and the food was excellent. I will definitely be going back.

Very very crowded for Covid. Waited 23 minutes in lobby for our table with a reservation. Mask rules were not enforced when people were moving from bar to hostess station to inquire about seating. Food was average. Service with Brett was very good.

Great Italian restaurant. Worth the drive from Chicago to Gurnee.

Our evening was based on having a Valentines dinner with another couple. Everything was very good. We were seating in the dinning room towards the back where there is a door hidden behind a curtain. Being that is was an very cold night we could feel a breeze coming thru and made it a chilly dinner for the four of us. We managed to get thru it since we understood that it was a busy night. Overall great service and pleasurable experience being our first dinner there.

Service was great, the lobster bisque was just warm and for 12 dollars it should be piping hot. My Carbonara was very good. We were seated near the fireplace in the main dining room which was beautiful. Over all very nice, but very loud.

We are thrilled to be back at our favorite restaurant. The food is exceptional, the owners are the hardest working people we know and so professional, considerate, welcoming.

We have never had anything but the best of everything here!
