   One of the most pleasant surprises I've had in London. A small, intimate and classy restaurant run, on our visit, impeccably by an attentive waiter and precise chef. The food was first class, and the tasting menu very cleverly devised so that each course was more flavoursome than the last, building-up to the unforgettable wagyu beef dish. All flavours were delicate yet perfectly balanced, the bread was freshly cooked and perfectly crispy whilst the souffle's fluffyness compared to the standard of the best I've ever had (Waterside Inn). And to believe that the entire show is run by two people is what impressed me NEARLY as much as the food itself. Can't wait to return.

   Great service and attention to clients even when something went a bit wrong. Small and cosy, ideal for a very relax (or even a romantic) dinner. I would strongly recommend it.

   Besides the food, which was absolutely incredible, the most impressive thing about 104 is the chef Richard’s ability to create outstanding food, beautifully presented with flavours to die for and he doing it all by himself. A fantastic dining experience, highly recommend.

    Amazing experience. One chef, one server in an intimate small room of 6 tables. Like a private dinner. French with some finest Japanese ingredients which are perfect combination for flavor and fine taste in a perfect presentation.

    Fabulous cooking from start to finish. Shouldn’t have eaten ALL the chocolate soufflé, but we couldn’t help ourselves! Amazing what a 2 man team can do!

    It is a little gem of a restaurant- just a few tables, one chef and one waiter, and a short menu full of deliciousness. It makes the place very unique and personal. Highly recommended.

    We had the best time at this restaurant for my friends 30th Birthday, the chef was incredible and the sommelier was very attentive, really made the experience truly special. I'd highly recommend this place

    Bijou. Classy little place without being stuffy. A very warm welcome and made to feel comfortable and at ease. The food was exceptional and the wait between courses was just perfect. Not rushed but also aware that Richard is crafting away behind the scenes to make each meal absolutely perfect. The quality of products, the cooking and prevention were absolutely exquisite. Richard’s complimentary fresh baked sourdough bread was absolutely incredible, the best bread we have both ever had and so moorish! My daughter was so impressed she just had to tell Richard herself, and what a smashing guy he is too. Highly recommend and would 100% return. Thanks for making this special evening, extra special guys 👍🏼

    We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. As it was the european women’s cup final it was quiet. The chef and the maitre d worked on their own and worked their magic. The place is small and intimate but very elegant. Peaceful setting for a very promising tasting menu. Each dish including the amuse bouche were superb. The bread was excellent the Japanese brioche served with the excellent foie grad was superb. Everything was elegant, understated and accomplished. I loved it. Thank you for a great evening.

    We arrived there by chance, so we were not biased and did not know anything abt the place. We are happy we found it, it is a gem and we plan to return, you feel you are at the dining room of a friend’s home, there’s just 6 tables… Food is Michelin star level, period. Simply superb. The wine list is also very original with hard to find gems. The only point that I would make is that it is not cheap at all, you will end up paying what you do at established top restaurants, but then again, it may be the only way to make it if you only have 6 tables…, they don’t have scale.

    This is about the 5th or 6th time I’ve been. The food, service and wonderfully relaxed but chique ambiance was, as ever absolutely excellent. Went to Tom Kerridge’s 2 michelin starred pub in Marlow 2 days after….and in my opinion the food and most certainly the service and attention to detail in 104 is much better. Its a delightfully small restaurant - but the acoustics are good - very easy to hear etc.

    Cozy, neighbourhood restaurant with a warm and inviting ambience. The food was quite simply, delicious. One of our party remarked the wagyu was the “best thing they have ever put in my mouth.” A gem of a place.

    The food overall is good, but the bread is burnt and the soufflé is not fluffy enough, it’s texture is similar to a cake rather than a soufflé… and the green peas of the fish course is a bit undercook, u can still taste the “grass flavour “ of the peas. But the wagyu is very good especially the sauce. The scallops dish needs more crunchiness elements to it.

    Exceptional experience. The menu was very good, enough extra effort to make a dish special, while not going too far to make it complicated for the taste buds. You need to bring patience, but you shouldn’t come here for a quick meal anyway.

    One of the most underrated restaurants in London, the food is at least a one Michelin star level; shocking to know a single chef runs the kitchen. Service is attentive and thoughtful, providing suitable room and privacy to guests.
