Brilliant service, food and atmosphere.
Amazing location!!! Food and atmosphere perfect!!!
Very disappointed, not worth the money, poor value - The setting is amazing with a view over tower bridge. The waiting staff are also very attentive and welcoming. In their credit, I have a dairy and gluten intolerance which I informed the waiter of and who knew the menu well to guide me through what I could have. Unfortunately what lets this place down is the food. My main course was Turbot, firstly of which was the late from the kitchen, I had to wait an extra 10 minutes once everyone’s food had arrived. Finally when it arrived I was very happy as it was a large bit of Turbot, but when I cut into it it was RAW in the middle. Having waited so long for this in the first place this was hugely frustrating. So I asked the waiter to just get me the quickest thing possible (as I didn’t want to keep my friends waiting or for me to be the only one eating my main) I said, even if you swap it for a steak or something quick for the chef to cook. The waiter was apologetic and took the dish away, ten minutes later the Turbot arrived back. It was the same piece of turbot which had been put under the grill, so now everything was dry. This is totally unacceptable for a restaurant charging £34 for this main course, and a very lazy chef. You’ve now twice ruined what looked like a good piece of fish. I ended up not having any main course at all. Whilst the waiting staff were apologetic, I was angry that a chef would happily send out either of these dishes, and think that’s acceptable for a paying customer especially at these prices. The venue is nice, but if they can’t improve their food then I certainly will not be coming back again nor will I be recommending it.
Good food in a friendy atmosphere. Would definitely go again.
Such an amazing place with totally amazing food!
The venue is amazing, the service is very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. We had an amazing meal. 5*
Celebrated a birthday here, food was amazing and drinks were great, staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend for an occasion dinner
Great restaurant would recommend to anyone
Very nice restaurant and food. Food and wine a little overpriced
Our dinner was absolutely amazing. Both me and my partner had wonderful things to say about the service, food and reception. We have already recommended 14 hills to a number of friends and will definitely be coming back.
Pleasant service in a lovely setting with fabulous views. I had a tasty risotto and my colleagues enjoyed their chicken Kiev. Starter prices seem a bit expensive, Main courses more reasonable. There is also a good value 3 course set menu. There can be queues from going through the security scanner at the entrance to the building. Photo from the viewing deck on the floor above.
Great ambience service and food!!!
Don’t normally do reviews but had to for this one!
A hidden gem in the city - great atmosphere and good food!
Sax in the city brunch without a saxophone player!
The sax in the city brunch was advertised to be from 12-4pm however on arrival at 2.30pm the saxophonist was already finishing up leaving an atmosphere that can only be described as a hotel lobby.
The brunch menu was fine however if you add drinks it quickly changes from £35/£35 pp to £70 pp for eggs and dessert.
The service was slow between courses with the decor being the only real selling point. I wouldn’t recommend nor would I return based on the above.
The turbot is exceptional
Wonderful service and food as always
Superb venue, both the food and service was amazing.
The view...just wow!
The staff, the food, the ambiance...excellent!
Lovely rooftop restaurant beautiful views across London;tables set out well .
Main corse was lovey Pork chop but don’t bother with the bone marrow starter very disappointing.overhaul it was a lovely visit but not cheap
super experience! Amazing views of the city coupled with good solid fusion type food wrapped with French finesse
The food was very good, nicely proportioned and plated. Service was relatively attentive and quick. Halibut and Salmon perfectly cooked. Lunch prices were on the high side.
Beautiful interior with great views of the city skyline. We expected to also have access to the wonderful roof garden at 120 Fenchurch Street, but disappointingly the entrance to this was closed. I believe the garden is only open on weekdays now, and presumably you can visit it if you come to the restaurant then. This is a great shame, as it used to be open at weekends too.
Food was good, and nicely presented. The Evening Standard menu was excellent value and provided everything we needed. If you chose from the a la carte menu, you'd pay a lot more.
Seating was also comfortable, and the floor was carpeted which kept the noise levels down.
Service was friendly but a little patchy. We were left waiting for our glasses of wine (included in the set menu) and had to ask three times for them. We ended up eating our meal without them, as it would have got cold. However, we then received a sincere apology, and the three glasses of champagne we'd had before lunch (at £15 per glass) were taken off our bill! I'm always happy to forgive a small mistake like this when it's dealt with so fairly.
Overall, we enjoyed our lunch - and we loved the little touch of a 'happy birthday' plate with a candle and small cakes (provided because I'd said we were celebrating a birthday when confirming the table). Would eat here again.
Was worth the deal, but service very very slow. Mixed up our meals with the table next to us. Also what big kitchen doesn’t have mayo ??
Offer was very good value for money. Staff were friendly and service was good. Venue is great. Would definitely recommend and visit again
Beautiful dining room. Great cocktails. Great service by the whole team. Great food.
I was really impressed by the food and atmosphere!! Just the view and plants are worth visiting. Will definitely come back
Food was cold and overpriced.
Service was good though.
Recommend to a friend? .. not sure I would.
Fantastic ambience and setting .. loved the bar and bar staff .. great table layout and lighting. Food very disappointing compared to other like for like D&D restaurants.. especially the deserts .. awful tbh.
Other issues I’d rather not get into ...
verdict - extremely disappointed .. pity .. I was expecting much better ☹️
Very nice food and environment. Will definitely come back!
Had a lovely evening here. Had never heard of it before so was a wonderful surprise to find this haven in the city.
Amazing staff who are friendly and looked after us so well.
Recommending to everyone and will be back.
Top tip: the Charlie Chaplin cocktail - perfect!
What an absolute hidden gem of a place. They’ve nailed every detail perfectly. The atmosphere is trendy and upscale but still warm and cozy with stunning views over the city. The service is the best I’ve come across in London. The menu is well thought out, it’s innovative without trying crazy things just for the sake of it....the priority is clearly to make great tasting food. I had the Rossini and can honestly say it’s the best fillet I’ve had anywhere in the world. Another notable mention must go to the 63degree egg starter! Absolute genius. It’s all incredibly good value for money especially with how generous they are with the black truffle. Wine list is excellent and also really good value. I actually cannot fault this place on anything. You can clearly tell they’ve thought about every aspect of your dining experience. Can’t wait to go back but I’m sure once word gets out it’s going to be impossible to get a table here.
Outstanding in every respect and great to see such well trained and personable staff. Memorable dinner with friends.
Epic views, clever cocktails and thoughtful design. Great addition to City scene.
Amazing place, very good experience and quality of food. Unfortunately prices are a bit too high for the quantity.
The restaurant and food was all I could have hope for. I am already planning my next visit.
Nice location and interestingly decorated. Bit too cramped and music not appropriate for decor. But food and service very good.
Music was too loud I had to shout to be heard
Lovely atmosphere, great food and service would recommend
We went for the evening standard menu. Normally with these offers the food is a poor version of the main menu on offer, well not on this occasion.
The choice and quality of the food was excellent and offered good value for money. I was surprised in a good way
