   Quick prompt and very attentive service. One of the ladies in our party was a bit chilled so our server brought her a blanket. A sweet gesture and was much appreciated. We will be going back. Not only for the food but for the atmosphere and amazing service.

   We really enjoyed our late afternoon lunch at 1882 Grille. The service was excellent & the food was incredible. We appreciate that we can make reservations in advance. We will definitely be going back on our next visit to McMinnville.

   So first if you're expecting the atmosphere of other places in town don't. This place is warm, comfortable and the food is delicious. My first time here, I had Googled places for cream brulé. It was the only place nearby that had it available. I show up in work clothes and bf in a cowboy hat and work attire. We seated at the bar and oh boy was it fun! Marty and Shae just nailed our whole experience! So the next evening, we show back up and guess what the food was as mouthwatering and delicious as the first night. The service was intentionally awesome. Just hard working passionate employees doing justice to this place. Highly recommend the Apple Honey Rye Old Fashioned. First Whiskey I've had that didn't burn in the mouth or on the way down. The next drink they used a local distillery. 3 Old Guys is produced near my home town in Yamhill, Oregon. I tried their Lockdown Vodka. Just superb! The whole experience was satisfying!

   Food and drinks were just “eh” and expensive for “eh” food. Steak and burger were over cooked for what we ordered. Upstairs is more casual and family oriented. The atmosphere was nice, service was good. We may try again, but not anytime soon.

    Limited dinner menu but the steak and salmon we ordered were cooked perfectly, delicious! Staff were very nice and attentive considering it was New Year's Eve, we sat in the patio area under a warmer and we enjoyed the ambience, I'd eat here again!

    Enjoyed the food. But for the price the meals should have had more flavor. Being a former chef i expected more from the meal. We feel it should have been more over the top. We will be back to try other menu items to see if they will exceed our expectations.

    The cocktails were excellent and so was the food. Only problem was when my salmon was delivered, it turned out the kitchen was out of the beet puree and hadn't told the waiter or substituted anything similar. It was just a piece of salmon and some broccolini. The server kindly offered to add some mashed potatoes for me. Since the beet puree is a bed that the salmon rests on and enhances the flavor, failure to make an alternative available was disconcerting. Still the fish was cooked perfectly, and my husband's beef dish was also very satisfactory to him. So the missing puree was not a huge deal but still an inattention to detail that should be corrected.

    The restaurant is charming, but the food lacks consistency. Prime rib and Teres Major we're over overcooked outside and undercooked inside. Bread appetizer and dessert brownie were also burned. Didn't expect the best cook on 12/24. But for the price of the meal, we were severely disappointed.

    The food was delicious as well as the drinks great thanks to the chefs, the pink drink was SO tasty. unfortunately our service there not very good the waiter was unprofessional when he was away from our table and very slow coming to us in between our food coming and the bill, he had the company of what I am assuming his girlfriend which kept him distracted from his job, he also kept taking his work apron off to go over to her as she enjoyed a beer. And several times was with her more than his tables. When he was at our table his manors were great, and he was kind. I think if he would not have been distracted it would have been much better of an experience.

    Food is spendy, especially for quantity. The quality was exceptional, even-still the pricing was bloated. At no fault to the business, it was winter formal or prom and lots of teenage kids with their parents credit card ruined the ambience. That, and large groups of boomers without reservations, but the service was able to keep larger groups separate. Although the boomers ruined food times for the rest of the night. Note: Mac is full of entitled boomers. The wait staff should be increased, which means paying competitive wages. There were dead flies and dust on the windows. Obviously the lack of staffing would be the blame, which indicates a poorly competitive employer. It’s indicative of late stage capitalism.

    I love the atmosphere in the downstairs area of the restaurant. Fire place going & ceiling heaters. Just enough noise to enjoy the evening. Our drinks were great, appetizers were delicious & dinner was amazing. I had fish & chips & they were very good! I also had a bite of the lasagne & it too was so good. The only issues, though not a huge deal….. our waitress was helpful & friendly enough, but did not smile a lot & seemed quite busy. But thankful she is willing to be there & working in this crazy time. The other issue was that we were celebrating a birthday & the hostess knew, but the waitress never mentioned it & there was not even a simple scoop of ice cream brought out for her to enjoy. But we do LOVE it!

    We enjoyed the food which was great. Initially they tried to seat us at a very small corner table, but when we asked to sit elsewhere they were accommodating but we only had an an as it was reserved at the later time. Service was great so there wasn’t any need to rush. We probably would have had another drink but with a time crunch we didn’t. If only a couple dining, I would call so we aren’t faced with the little corner table and can relax and enjoy more

    A lovely location with okay food. There are a lot of local beers on tap available, which is great. Service was friendly if not attentive. We ate outside on the third floor, which was a really lovely spot. The kids went with mac and cheese and Cesar salad. The mac and cheese seemed to almost have no sauce, maybe a byproduct of being combined a la minute? When we asked, they brought some extra sauce, and between that and some salt the kids ate it. However, I couldn’t recommend it. Adults had a burger and BLT, both were okay. The bacon was soft, which some prefer. The fries were not good; slightly undercooked on the inside and not crispy on the outside. (If they had a smaller menu, they could really focus on getting good food out, but it may be the case of too many options.)

    Our first time to this establishment so we were very happy with the quality of the food and our service. Additionally, the views from the second story are amazing! Shoutout to Mayce, our server. She made great wine recommendations and was super fast to bring out our drinks, food and check.

    Food was at best average, caesar was below that. The staff were all very young and inexperienced. Not surprising in these times, but our waitress wanted to charge a corkage fee on top of their own bottle price, far exceeding the cost of 5 single glasses. When you see a price of 12/46, the second should be the bottle price, period. Third floor view was nice, but that isn't enough for a return trip.

    They easily accommodated our group of seven in a timely manner. The server was friendly and helpful. The menu has a good variety at prices that were a bit higher than expected, but not overly so. The quality of the food was good. The beer selection was varied, but nothing special.
