We were spending The long NY eve weekend in Lenox & chose this restaurant based on open table menu & info. It’s based in Wyndhurst large golf resort which is mostly residential & not well lit . The location link is incorrect & it took us a call to the resort & trial & error to find. It’s something the staff were aware of but not corrected or mentioned on their website . It was a sat eve we were the only ones there. We had chosen the rest from its open table menu w lots of small plates . Our menu was different no small plates ! The remainder were generic offerings. The draft beer ir guinesss on the menu not available “machine was down tonight” . Our waiter was good. The rest forgettable

The ambiance here was absolutely romantic and cozy. The fire was lit and snow was falling gently outside. Though the service was slow, we werent in a rush anyways cause the overall atmosphere was relaxed and calm, so we enjoyed our beverages.

Everything was great (apart from a little too much initial policing).

We had been looking forward to at least seeing a fireplace, but we were placed in a room that was more of a chilly conservatory. Also, the table we were given was oversized and dwarfed our party.

In spite of these small inconveniences we had a great time because the food and the service were amazing. Our dinner at 1894 was the highlight of our Christmas visit to Lenox.

GREAT place! Terrific food and awesome service! The renovations look amazing! Only tiny, itty-bitty thing is that the light is a tiny bit too bright and couldn't hear any music. Other than that - perfection!! Can't wait to go back

This is a lovely place. One of the most beautiful in all of Berkshires.

The food was mixed. Some was amazing : the duck and chicken incredible. The appetizers were almost all too salty.
My cocktail was fairly bad especially for 20$. Stick with the wine or order a regular drink.
The service was very good. They have a hard job - with this Covid , keeping things going and friendly and clean but they were meticulous about things and we felt very safe.
We look forward to dining there this summer. It will better once Covid is further away and they have worked out the menu kinks.

Place is quaint and has a lot of charm.

I frequent fine dining restaurants during travel across the US. But, I have never seen such tiny portions. Clearly, they are trying to keep food costs down due to loss of revenue during the pandemic. But, charging $25+ for entrees that are the size of an appetizer is not a solution. The quality of the food is good it’s just bite size portions.

The drinks are so inflated with classic cocktails for $25. I realize it’s a resort, but I pay less for a drink at the best bars in Manhattan.

The food and ambiance was incredible. Our server was fantastic and was very helpful with our menu choices. The bar service could have been a little more efficient. That being said, we 100% understand that there are significant hardships working in the service industry nowadays and that things do not run as smoothly as they normally would. We were thankful for a lovely dining experience and hope to enjoy another meal post-covid. Hang in there, guys!

A wonderful place to celebrate a birthday during Covid Pandemic.
The staff didnt a great job taking care of us. They were obvisouly short staffed. The hostess was wearing gym clothes which looked in appropriate for the restaurant. The food was amazing and the ambiance was ideal for a romantic dinner or hanging with friends.

Never again. The Miraval brand was the reason for booking to dine here, but this isn’t a Miraval experience. The first impression was not great because it was impossible to get over the feeling of being in a mall or elevator with the truly awful piped Muzak that was everywhere including outside in the entryway. The decor was very poor with very bad lighting. One dining area was lit like an OR. The one natural fire was very nice. That being said the faux gas fire in the bar was a missed opportunity to create an inviting space although most of the fireplace was taken up by the bar access. Poor design and a terrible use of the space. The dining room was set up for Covid dining with tables spaced a good 15 to 20 feet apart. Employing screens as opposed to geography would have made for a less spartan feel. Unlike most restaurants there was no scannable menu available. The food offering was limited to say the least and more bar food than anything else. As for the wine list it was practically non existent. Wait and bar staff did not come across as being all that experienced and overall it felt understaffed and directionless. Not sure where Hyatt is going with this but it is not a great reflection on the brand.

The atmosphere of the fireside grill is festive and delightful. The food was even more spectacular. Awesome plate combinations were made to our specifications and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. All of us had an amazing time. The service was impeccable and we were made to feel welcome and at home. We will definitely be back for the holidays!

This restaurant was amazing! The food was delicious, the views among the best you will find in the Berkshires, the ambiance was perfect! We enjoyed sitting in the lounge before and after dinner. The Firepit was romantic and added that extra special addition to a perfect birthday dinner/evening! Service was on point. The decor was very beautiful. The restaurant honored social distancing. Always felt safe and looked after. It is locate in a beautiful, historic hotel. I highly recommend eating here.

Amazing dinner experience for those looking for a quiet, quaint environment. Having a nice toasty fire going in each room during a chill evening in the Berkshire's is a big plus. Food is Amazing and for those who can appreciate truly good quality food. Post-Covid, there will be a great opportunity to have soft, live music

We waited an additional hour for our table after our reservation. Two drinks from the “bar” was $52.00 before tip.

Great for fancy atmosphere. Service less than expected for a fancy place. Desserts were not good.

The restaurant is a former high-end club turned into the Berkshires branch of the Mirival luxury wellness spa; the restaurant recently opened dining to the public. Service is attentive and friendly. The menu food is good if somewhat unimaginative -- i.e., white tablecloth standards like NY strip, salmon and duck breast. Lots of efforts to socially distance, so tables are unadorned and far apart -- somewhat to the extreme. Main room in nice but the 'Tea Room' was somewhat cold and drafty. Pleasant and enjoyable but not memorable.

Food and Beverage manager must be called out ! How could you charge $25 for a Manhattan ? Outrageous ! Beautiful location in a historic mansion. Unfortunately the dining areas lacked any decor whatsoever. Food was not up to par for a trained French chef with a classical cuisine background. Lacking any depth and flavor. Both of our entrees were not hot when served (critical mistake). Probably because they took too much time "prettying up" the plate with tiny amounts of plate garnishes. I understand that the restaurant just began serving dinners only two weeks ago but for a destination dining location the menu HAS to be a bit more varied . Very much in need of a bit more seafood and pasta items. Back to the bar, $25 for a Manhattan already puts you in a negative mood as you enter the dining room waiting to see if you get ripped further into your dining experience.

Only open for 2 weeks but well on its way to beautiful romantic dining experience. The newly renovated miravel Wyndham mansion served exquisite Cuisine with a French influence. The staff was very friendly but needed a bit more expertise. Lighting needs to be improved in the dining area. It will be a growing winner and will meet most foodies expectations. Try it now before it becomes difficult to get a reservation
