   Everything was amazing! They were able to accommodate a group of 7 after another restaurant cancelled our reservation we booked in Jan. Our drinks food and the atmosphere were perfect!

   The host and server were welcoming and attentive. The food was exceptional and unique. Meaning, they created a new from a traditional recipe. I had the hot brown (traditional) but it was made with fried chicken and candied bacon. Very unique and flavorful. The only drawback was finding it. The name is displayed if you approach it from the south but not the north. It’s in a hotel which would have been helpful to know.

    A great visit as always. The jumbo wings are some of the best wings in town. The winter harvest bowl was hearty and delicious. The Kentucky Fried Hot Brown may not be a traditional hot brown but it is still fantastic.

    Service was excellent. Food was very good. As an appetizer we got our favorite - the chicken wings. They are probably my favorite wings around - large, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. And that Alabama white sauce is so delicious I could practically drink it! For my entree I I ordered the fried chicken hot brown and while it was very tasty, the mornay sauce was a bit undersalted. I would still order this dish again, however, as I suspect that was a one-off. My husband got the Steak Frites and he absolutely loved it, however it’s worth noting he requested medium rare and received medium well to well done (the steak comes precut so half was well done and half was just a touch pink in the center). We didn’t complain because he said the steak was still very tender and he was fine with eating it that way. Cocktails are excellent too. We appreciated that drinks are made with fresh ingredients and not bottled mixes!

    We were a party of 10 celebrating a birthday on a major holiday, the staff did an amazing job welcoming and catering to our needs. The food was very good and well priced. Recommend this restaurant highly!

    Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for me and we ended up leaving and going across the street to a Taco place. I don't know if they were short handed or what but the servers appeared to be struggling mightily.

    We had wonderful signature cocktails and a excellent meal at this restaurant. The restaurant is part of the hotel lobby so we were confused only because we expected a stand alone restaurant Great service drinks and food.

    We arrived for our reservation on the nose. The place was very difficult yo find because the tiny sign was printed on glass, half-hidden by the decorative shrubs. We walked through the place and no one said a word…we had to ask to be seated. Our waitress brought the menu and there were only 2 items on the entire menu I can eat due to a wheat allergy (my tongue becomes very painful with sores). I live in coastal Georgia and did not come to Kentucky for shrimp pie (my only entree choice). Unfortunately, we had to leave.

    I hesitate to write a review as we did not stay long enough to eat. Immediately upon entering, we were overwhelmed by the noise level. If there is any sound absorption system in place, it isn't enough. We were also surprised that the restaurant didn't seem to have the "vibe" we got by looking at it online. It appeared to be more of a nice restaurant than a bar, but in their defense, it does say bar/lounge on the description. The menu looked simple and good. Some places have so many choices it's hard to decide what you want. The young lady that seated us was very friendly and super understanding when we told her we were leaving because we couldn't hear ourselves think, much less carry on a conversation with our friends. If you are younger than us and enjoy that sort of environment, I would say it's a great place to gather with a group, be loud, and eat, drink, and be merry. You'll probably have a different experience that we did.

    We were in town from all over the USA for a family wedding and had 18 of us Sunday night who wanted to get to together for dinner. 33 Staves accommodated our large group and did a wonderful job. Food was excellent and restaurant had a very nice atmosphere.

    Two occupied tables and service was slow. Food was surprisingly good for hotel dining . Soda tasted watered down . But the blueberries in the pancakes was fresh and the fritters were delicious. Overall I would go back and just plan on a more Leisurely meal

    Appetizer and dinner were good but there are other restaurants in Lexington with better food. Service was really good and I found the dining area neat so the ambience was some of the best in Lexington.
