   Booked for a meal before a show in the Bristol Hippodrome. restaurant was perfectly positioned a short walk away. Staff were pleasant and attentive and the food was some of the best Indian cuisine my wife and I had tasted. The Peshwari naan was superb. The range of dishes was very good with old favourites and a number of combinations we had not seen before. Tried one the of the new ones for experience and was delighted. We would recommend the restaurant and would certainly use it again ourselves.

   I have eaten in many Indian restaurants (to be fair though not to Benares or Tamarind level though) so for the ones that I have been in this rates #1 as of now because the standard of the food doesn’t match the price at all and I would be happy to pay more for this quality, though I would not complain too loudly as I am happy to save some money as a happy accident. I think I want to come back again in the next 12 months even though I don’t live in Bristol. I would love to come back and try other dishes and have a proper evening out not just eat and leave, as I had to because I was a bit broke at the time as had to spend two extra unplanned days in Bristol hotels this time. The food is not fancy but tastes fancy and it’s easy to decide what to order (unlike those fancy menus at Michelin restaurants) Thanks so much for a great short experience. It’s made an impression on me like no Indian restaurant so far.

    They seemed to struggle to find our booking, but this was sorted. The heat indicators were inconsistent (a one chilli being as hot as a two chilli). The food came out quickly - almost too quickly - it tasted more convenience food than freshly cooked. It was OK but I've had so much better.

    Nice to try different dishes to a usual Indian restaurant. Food was tasty. Chutney pots were very small. Service was great and waitress helpful with recommendations. Restaurant was noisy due to a lively stag party. Not out of order in any way just guys enjoying themselves, so restaurant couldn’t help that. Would eat there again.

    The food is definitely nice there, but the portions and the way the dishes are presented are a bit confusing. It's also one of the pricier Indian restaurants in Bristol. I'm certain that if you go there and get the right dish then you'll have an amazing time, So really look out for the specific dishes that people recommend

    My friend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at 4500 and received great, friendly and personalised service. It was my 2nd time, 1st for my friend and she loved it too. Would definitely be back again. Stars all round.

    Fabulous food- the best onion bhajis I have ever eaten, great selection of vegetarian dishes, lovely welcoming staff who were really attentive throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

    Really disappointing. We were recommended to come here by a friend but we will not be coming back or recommending to anyone else. Too many other places in Bristol are better than this. The poppadums weren’t gluten-free. Popadoms are made from Gram Flower so can’t quite understand how this could be the case. Our waiter didn’t understand that we liked spicy food so all the curries were really medium and mild. All three curries tasted pretty much the same. There was no variety, just sauce and meat and no idea of what else went into the dish. The whole meal was really disappointing. The restaurant was very loud and the staff didn’t understand what we were ordering. One of the dishes we got was wrong even though we pointed to the dish written in the menu. They want to serve you fast and for you to leave quickly. Go somewhere else instead….

    Lovely food and very good service. However the noise level in the restaurant is extremely high. It was very hard to have a conversation, even to actually hear what the waiter was saying. It’s like being a tunnel the sound reverberates off all the hard surfaces. The restaurant owners really should look in to sound soak systems. This didn’t spoil the occasion but it really was uncomfortable.

    The food was really high quality, and unusual dishes I have not seen on Indian menus before (the Goa mussels!) Everything was really fragrant, I would highly recommend eating here.
