   I ordered the oxtail plate and the rice and cabbage was less than warm and the oxtails just ok and a small potion for the price. Even though we were sitting outside, the music was just way too loud and the place was not that crowded. Also, it was somewhat cool and many of the lamps were not working. One last thing was the table was wobbly. I know this sounds crazy but every time someone moves the table shakes.

   Food is delicious, and they had a live dj that kept it fun and energetic. Went for brunch and they are very generous with the bottomless mimosas. Cant wait to go back!

   This is the second time I’ve visited abeautifullife. Both times were 10/10! Both times were busy and had a large party of people, but service was still on point and as quick as you could expect given the circumstances. When I arrived for my reserved time today, I was greeted by the host and seated immediately. Shortly after, I was greeted by my server, Miguel. He was attentive and professional. The vibes are always immaculate, and everyone always has fun. Though I’m sensitive to loud noise, I still enjoyed my time and will definitely go again. My goal is to try as many things as possible on the menu.

   As always the food was delicious and the experience is always a vibe!!! This was my third time eating here and I stay ready to go back!!!! We celebrated my birthday and had no issues with our large party. Our server was quick with everything!!!!

    It was my birthday brunch. Atmosphere was great and had a great time as usual. I ordered the waffles and they were very rubbery. Did not like them at all. I could taste the red and green food coloring. Not my favorite on the menu. Sorry.

    passes the vibe check! great food, aesthetic, and staff! I had the garlic shrimp street fries and my husband had the jerk salmon and shrimp. With drinks, our total was around $100. Will definitely return.

    I’ve been wanting to try this place out for awhile. It was very good atmosphere was great. However it took a long time for the food to come out to us. The server was nice and accommodating though. I’m sure it’s because the food is so fresh. The food was AMAZING so I will be visiting again.

    Show up around 4pm and the place was packed! So we instantly thought this is a good sign.. We pretty much got seated right away (we choose outside) due to inside being so small and everyone was stacked on top of each other and the noise level was insane. Once we were seated it took nearly 20mins before anyone came over to help us.. At this point we were excited as we both thought, finally someone here to take care of us and take our order. We were making small talk to the guy that came over and asking questions about the menu and asked if we could place drink orders and he said I’m not the waiter and that he was only here to drop off the water and utensils, but he would get the waiter for us., which took 20-30mins for the waiter to finally arrive and at this point we annoyed and ready to order and so we did. We order the following: Lobster Mac and cheese - The lobster was fishy and overcooked. Jerk Shrimp w/ rice and peas and cabbage - The sauce for the this was meh and lack depth. Jerk chicken wings - This was excellent! The flavor was spot on! I believe they use a dry rub, which I’m totally a fan over over the sauce iterations. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Curry Chicken w/ rice and peas and cabbage - The flavor here was also spot on! The only complaint was that the rice portion was not adequate for the amount of chicken that came with the dish. It’s like they we’re running low or something. 2 Sorrel drinks - Being Jamaicans we were expecting our typical sorrel flavor, but it was not it at all. The taste was more pomegranate than anything, mixed with other fruit juice. We did enjoy the drink, but it was not sorrel… I think it would make senses not to call it sorrel, since that not what it was. 1 chicken Pattie - Nothing to say here other than it never arrived.. Which I’m not surprised since the waiter didn’t write anything down. Closing out the bill was also an ordeal. We had go find someone at the bar to let them know we needed the bill

    Just overall terrible experience maybe they just couldn’t handle the amount of reservations an sec walk ins. Food takes 2 hours to come out and it will be cold. Looked like it would’ve been good but was to cold to tell.

    The ambiance was very nice for a hip hop scene. The manager was so kind and welcoming. The food took an hour to arrive and when it did, it was cold. The manager apologized which was very appreciative and contributed the wait time to it being a busy Sunday. I came to this restaurant 3 weeks ago and had the exact same experience but ended up leaving before the food came because it was taking so long for it to be prepared. Great vibe tho and the DJ is fantastic.

    The food is AMAZING! The service was extremely slow, too over an hour for 3 tacos and the place was not crowded. There was no accommodation for the extreme delay nor did the server check in to ensure we were okay or with an update. I wish the service was as good as the food.

    Excellent spot to celebrate a friends bday! Ameer not only served us with the most delicious thirsty Thursday special cocktails, the whole place was a vibe… great rnb jams, ambience (good for a date night or dinner with gfs), delicious food oxtail and jerk chicken options. The jerk chicken was slightly drier than I like but very flavorful. Overall highly recommend this place 🫶🏽

    My friends and I had a reservation set at 1:45pm. When we arrived we checked in with the hostess and she ensured us a table. 30 min passed and we checked in again as we saw other people being seated and they ensured us it would be 15 more min. We moved to the front to make ourselves more visible so we wouldn’t continue to be forgotten. We ultimately ended up leaving after waiting almost 2 hours for a table. We kept getting promised a table but was never seated. We were excited to try this restaurant but the experience made us not want to come back.

    Had a reservation waited for an hour plus on Valentine’s Day. It ruined our date. They sat us down and let us sit for thirty minutes no one spoke to us, no water, nothing. After we ordered we waited another 30 minutes. Our food came out out of order. The waiter forgot our order bc he said he could remember it off the top of his head.     This was my first time and it was so pleasant. The food was absolutely amazing!! Our server was also so kind, helpful and easy going.     The best Jamaican food I’ve ever eaten. Oxtails were melting off the bone, curry chicken was tender & juicy, rice & peas cooked to perfection and servers were professional. Reservations recommended. Food came out within 25 minutes.

    We booked a 2 pm reservation and but got to the restaurant early due to unpredictable traffic in here. The hostess was so amazing and she seated us early. We were seated in the front corner with an all round view of the whole restaurant. This restaurant was a whole vibe. Our server was awesome I wish I remembered her name. The drinks were so good: I had a Thick as Thieves and my husband this spicy pineapple drink. The food OMFG so so so so delicious. We started with the Ox Tail Mac and Cheese which I could have just eat this and been completely satisfied. I ordered the Stew Chicken plate and that too was so delicious. My husband ordered the Jerk Salmon plate and he loved it. He is very picky about his food and couldn’t get enough of it. We have definitely declared that this will be our regular date night spot. Not just for the food but also the atmosphere. It was such a vibe. The live DJ was so on point that she had all of thinking we was at a concert. Keep up the amazing job Abeautifullife🥰
