                                                              Rory was looking after us and made it a lovely birthday meal! He and the team arranged a personalised cocktail based on my tastes and it was a really nice touch and unexpected surprise! The food was great and the restaurant has a good atmosphere.

                                                              I've been to Hazel once before and enjoyed it. Thought it worth a second visit for lunch as our friend can't walk far so it's an ideal place to get to from Queen Street station. At 12.15 we were only people there but it soon got busier but not too much so overall a nice relaxed atmosphere. And background music was just that - blissfully! The restaurant is light and airy, perfect for a lunchtime rendezvous. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. The house gin we had was fantastic - Crossbill. I'm going to see where I can buy it for home! For lunch the menu is perfect - mostly quite light. My Reuben sandwich was lipsmackingly tasty. They don't do desserts at lunchtime which helped the old waistline. All in all, a most pleasant, relaxing, convivial lunch. Hasta la vista!

                                                              Lovely lunch. Staff friendly and attentive. Calamari very nice, cauliflower bites yummy but not sure about the sauce. Pavlova very tasty flavour though the meringue was rock hard. Would definitely come again and try some of the other dishes

                                                              In general, the food was good. But it took ages for the food to arrive and the truffled chicken main was absolutely tasteless. I understand that the real truffle often doesn’t add as intense flavour but if wasn’t even visible that the truffle was ever added. It took forever to get attention of the waiters and the waitress that eventually came was rather defensive which ruined the overall experience from the restaurant. However, the dessert, starters and my partner’s lamb main were nice

                                                              A perfect evening for our wedding anniversary. We had the 3 course set menu which was great value. We were well taken care off by all the lovely staff members. The food was delicious and perfectly sized. Wine and cocktails were also good. We will be back and recommend Hazel.

                                                              Lovely brunch with large portions. Good value. We had coffee & tea as wine seems expensive for a 125 ml glass. Other option was a 500ml carafe/bottle. Beautiful venue. Quiet during our visit so not too noisy. Watch out for the service charge! Lovely female server. Nice male server however his apron was filthy.
