Adair Country Inn & Restaurant
Celebrated our 10th anniversary and had a wonderful time. Beautiful grounds and the food was excellent! Do yourself a favor and spend the weekend with the Adair Country Inn.
Compliments to the chef !!
The lamb was cooked to perfection, and I wonder what he/she used as the source, but it was very tasteful and impressive.
The carrot & ginger soup was very good, too.
Great in every way. This is what a country Inn should be. Not many left so enjoy! Food was delicious. I had the 1/2 duck, nice and crispy had to find now a days. We tried several appetizers all great. Meggen our server was a pleasure . We will return whenever we are in the area! Lucky find for sure
Will definitely return
Excellent dinner, service, setting. We will be returning in the near future.
The food was incredibly good, but the real gem was our waitress. The perfect blend of attentive and polite without being a nescience. Great for a date.
Excellent food, service and ambience.
Loved the atmosphere of this small Inn in NH. The service we received was excellent (I believe our waitress was Tatiana). Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and customer service focused. We ordered the crab cakes (special) which were delicious, and I got the chicken saltimbocca which was also very good. Would highly recommend this for a date night, or a romantic night out. Can't say enough good things about this hidden gem.
This is a lovely dining experience, the second time here. It is a lovely old home converted to an inn and is full of charm and grace. Our waitress was wonderful and remembered me from the first time-also great. The soups here are extra good and I highly recommend. Portions were good without being too much and everything nicely seasoned. Dessert good too!
Delicious food and lovely service. We went on a Sunday night and it was quiet. Would recommend.
Excellent service in quiet environment. I do wish the menu would include more variety. Everything we ordered was very well prepared. We definitely recommend.
Havent been for dinner in a while, and we were - as always - impressed with how good the food is. The service was also outstanding - thanks to Meaggan
Everything was perfect with our dining experience. Great food and the service was top notch.
Beautiful setting and lovely rooms. Our table was not ready when we arrived , but the manager offered us a tour of the rooms. Very impressive. After many positive reviews, we were very disappointed in our meal. The crispy duck was anything but. The chicken appeared to be premade and not in house. It was not bad just ordinary. The carrot ginger soup was too salty, masking the other flavors. The veggies and tomato soup were delicious
The Adair is a lovely inn in a beautiful setting. We both had the duck which was delicious, its roasted on the bone which is much better than the duck breast that most restaurants are serving these days. The arugala and strawberry salad was almost a desert. Overall it was first rate.
Food was fabulous and delicious. Ambiance was exactly what you would expect when dining at a gorgeous country inn. The service was exceptional. We will definitely go back again and again.
Quiet, laidback, wonderful food and service. A true gem.
We had a wonderful dinner. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. We will go back for seconds at sometime.
Anniversary. Champagne on the house!
Love everything about the Adair Inn. Our favorite place to dine and we feel at home the minute we walk in the door. Staff are just outstanding and food to die for. Highly recommend the Adair Inn. 5 Stars all around. 👍
We had one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. The Inn is lovely with a rich history. We were lucky that the waitress had a few minutes to show us around and talk about its interesting history. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. We went on Thursday date night so had delicious three course meal. They had GF options and were knowledgeable. We will be back!
This was our first times to Adair, to celebrate a birthday, and we will return. A lovely setting; we started by walking through the gardens and enjoying the patio. The service (Meeghan) was outstanding and friendly. We both had good meals starting with the carrot ginger soup that was excellent. A lovely setting, good good, a hidden gem in the White Mountains.
Thursday date night is such a great deal.
What a wonderful dinner! The food was amazing, excellent service, great atmosphere. We had an excellent night and will definitely be coming back
A beautiful setting with wonderful attention to detail and excellent food. Definitely a must!!
It has been a number of years since I last dined here and it is as wonderful as I remembered. The food is excellent and the menu varied and interesting. The four of us had different meals and loved them all. We all started with the house salad, which that night had blueberries and pecans in it, yum. My steak frites was superb, the steak very tasty and tender, a joy. The fries were crispy shoestrings. The duck eater stated that the duck was wonderful as was the potato side. Cajun fish was very tasty but not as spicy as he would have liked (he likes v. spicy food). The waitress said, if she had only known she would have let the chef know that he could spice it up. So if you like spice, let your server know when you order. Our vegetarian was in heaven with the mushroom tortellini. The meal was topped off with excellent coffee and a brownie ala mode. The brownie was, thankfully, not the fudgy type, but cake like with a chewy crust. Great dark chocolate ice cream was the ala mode. Last and certainly not least, our server was great. It is a small dining room and quiet enough for easy conversation.
Have always loved the Inn and it continues to be a wonderful experience.
Only one suggestion that would enhance that experience and that would be
uniforms for wait staff. Dress doesn't have to be formal or fancy but
consistent; perhaps a white blouse or shirt and black slacks? This would
just add more class to an already high end dining experience.
Beautiful location, great food and wonderful waitress
As always, very good food, fabulous atmosphere and professional service. A go to place....
Very good meal and great ambiance
We had dinner with friends that had eaten here before. We had made a reservation, and although running about 20 minutes late, were greeted and seated immediately, in their very simple ( yet elegant) dining room! The waitstaff ( Amanda) could not have been more welcoming and helpful! And the same goes for the Inn Keeper, Cindy, who didn't even flinch when we balked at spending $80 for 1 bottle of wine- she simply offered us a WONDERFUL bottle at a significantly reduced price! It was fabulous- as was the butternut squash soup, the pork medalions, and MY "custom" meal of Chicken Cavattia (?sp)!!! SCRUMPTIOUS! And we were made to feel as if we were the only people in the dining room - which was not the case , as it did fill up quickly!
The only shock to this fabulous experience was the final bill....... Would we eat here again? MAYBE.... were it a VERY special occasion. It is way more pricey than we had anticipated.
We had a wonderful and inviting host greet us! This is just the kind of place we love and the intimacy of the restaurant is amazing. Our waitress Dianna was just delightful and so good to us! We had soup to start and were oohing and ahhing! For entrees, I had the mushroom tortellini dish, my daughter had the salmon and my husband had steak and lobster. My husband was the only one who wasn't that pleased with his meal. My daughter and I both loved ours! Our only complaint was not about the restaurant or staff but rather a couple that sat near us that was reading from their phone loudly about politics during the entire meal! It is not the fault of the Adair but this type of behavior causes the other guests around them to not have as nice an experience. We think they were Inn guests and just used the dining room as an extension of their own private room. We just wished they had looked around the room as 2 other tables besides ours were all shaking their heads over the couple completely oblivious that the restaurant was not looking for a history lesson or political discussion over a lovely meal! We will come back again to the Adair and recommend others to go as well but would not let that behavior go by again without saying something about it.
Excellent! Hi end country themed fare. Generous but not overwhelming portions. Attentive but not obsequious service. Thoughtful pairings of main course with side dishes. Perfect mid-winter comfort food. Especially enjoyed the wild mushroom struddel appetizer.
We enjoyed our dinner so much! The setting is beautiful, staff is delightful and our food was exceptionally delicious
The food was excellent. The only drawback was the very icy long road to get to the restaurant. Would definitely return in better weather.

Tom and Cindy were wonderful host. The entire staff went out of their way to make it a fantastic dinner experience. Look forward to my next visit
Cozy, comfortable setting with delicious food and friendly service. Excellent preparation and varied options.
No complaints! A very positive experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend.
Very cozy inn. Only had dinner there, but we will be back to stay and dine. The food was awsome. Great value. Talked to a couple that were staying at the inn and they counld not say enough nice things about the Adair Country Inn.
