Underwhelming. Bagels are terrible, they were not fresh. Eggs Benedict was very bland, English muffin was cold and potatoes were undercooked.
Loved everything about this new restaurant and bar. The room is beautiful but it’s the service that shines with servers who have a deep knowledge and passion for the menu. The culinary team if you’re lucky to meet some of them enhance every dish with their own welcoming character and clear love for what they do. Really amazing team. Ryder, our server was the best!
They had a ‘skeleton crew’ and the food was a disappointment. The salad was wilted and inedible. The lobster spaghetti tasteless. Their chef was not there and we weren’t told if he would be there in the future. We had always loved the food at Four Season under their many restaurant changes. Last night was not to be repeated. And we won’t
The food was ok, nothing really spectacular. There was a live band playing so that was great.
It was very nice ambience and servers were so nice. Food was good but little too salty for our taste but considering everything it was a great experience. We even got complimentary drinks and dessert since we were celebrating a birthday.
Live entertainment added to the holiday spirit. Food ok for prix fixe menu. Wife said wine was excellent. Servers were great. I’ll be there again.
This was our first visit to The Four Seasons since their renovation and change in restaurant. The atmosphere is updated and sleek. The food, however, was rather bland. The fried chicken and lobster pasta lacked flavor. The winner was the Brussels sprouts starter, however! Delicious!
Our meal was outstanding and so was the service. The updates to the hotel are contemporary and gorgeous!
Not worth spending your time and money.
Allium was better. The renovated space, modern but lacking an inviting character. 5000K LEDs at Full blast create a sterile environment; the food. Disappointing. Lacking flavor. Hard to pull off a task to add so many ingredients and make it bland. Sauce Hollandaise with skin and dried out potatoes, indicating the plate may have been under the heat lamp for too long? Lacking of the specific Hollandaise taste. Was that dried herbs? Poached Eggs watery. Dried English biscuit and skinny piece of Ham. No balance . No harmony. No flavor layering. That is not expected at a 4Seasons Hotel restaurant.
Anyway. We averaged $60/person. There are many better choices, but we wanted to pick up where Allium left. Can’t believe Chef was in the kitchen today . If he was ..well let’s just see…Won’t be back until I read and hear of improvements.
Highly recommend. Very fun and eclectic scene. Music and food great!
The team took great care of us and the Brussels sprouts are my new favorite share dish.
Great coffee, chicken sausage and French scrambled eggs. The lemon ricotta pancakes tasted like they had a half a cup of sugar. Too sweet to eat. The cinnamon rolls was average.
Intimate spot inside Four Seasons. Great service and food. Bigger portions than I expected. Balanced ambiance (we could have a conversation but there was a dj playing in the lounge area).
AMAZING! Highly suggest. Great food amazing service. Will for sure be back
Enjoyed our breakfast in the Four Season Hotel
From the host, to the server, the manager, everybody where extremly nice. Food is an experience you have to try, is not out of this world, but the different techniques used are worth it
Brunch: a Selection for almost any taste. Very good service as would be expected at Four Seasons.
Lots of drama initially to change my table. "We have already assigned all the tables." Yet for two hours later no one arrived. Sat for a VERY long time. No one came to ask about a beverage, etc. Then a manager came. I asked menu questions, he didn't have a clue. Bread course was okay. Nice seeded cracker and sour dough. Pita was weird. Supposedly food is cooked to order. For the brussel sprouts, I don't believe it. In addition, they were just leaves. Steak was good, well cooked. Fries were soggy due to steak on top. It was supposed to include Gem lettuce. Nope. Once again, Four Seasons Chicago Food & Beverage is disappointing.
The food and service was outstanding they did have a issue that night with staffing but they pulled it together with management assiting with tables and orders. They truly care .
Friend’s bday. We love Stacy, our waitress. She’s the BEST. We always ask for her when we come to the Four Seasons. Everything was deelish! Thank u.
The river trout was delicious as was rye ribeye steak that was well prepared. Service was vey attentive with attention to detail. The Columbia Tierra dessert was the highlight of the meal!
Son’s 23rd birthday celebration.
Adorn is an upscale restaurant in a luxury hotel. That's pretty much it. Nothing more, nothing less.
On a Saturday around 1pm, I was looking for a place to grab something to eat and really wanted to dine somewhere with a nice view of the city. I read on Thrillist that Adorn "offers sweeping views of the Mag Mile and downtown skyline". It does not. It basically has no view, just of the neighboring buildings. My sister and I were pretty hungry so we decided to stay even though it didn't really have the vibe we were looking for. The price-point matches the fact that the restaurant is in a Four Seasons, but the food was just ok, which left us a little underwhelmed.
Maybe their dinner service is the real highlight. I could see it being a good option for hotel guests looking to have a fancy dinner before a show.
The first bite we had was a Ratatouille and Chèvre stuffed squash blossom and it was absolutely delicious. The Yellowtail Crudo, Bread Service and Brussel Sprouts were also delicious. Entrees fell short.
Service was great and it was such a surprise when Chef Sawyer came out.
We went here to celebrate a birthday. The food was ok, nothing knocked our pants off. The best thing was the brussel sprouts. The waiter sold me on the fish saying they did it with tropical flavors, but there was nothing tropical about it , it was pretty standard black cod. The server was fairly attentive, but there were some lags and we had to ask for a few things like another glass of wine, apple juice that he had forgotten. So, overall it was a nice night out, but sort of pricey for what you get , I dont' t think we'll rush back .. although we did see a certain Speaker Madame of the House on the way out , so there was that .
Food terrible sent back 2 dishes too expensive service very bad.
Waitress was visibly annoyed with my attire and my food allergies. I might as well have ordered at a Shari’s with what was available to me.
Very nice dinner. Excellent food. Ambiance was ok. Waiters were awesome.
Their Caesar salad is the best thing on the menu. Not many entree's to choose from and so I selected a small plate. It was priced like an entree, but very small and in my opinion even less than an appetizer.
Don't think I would recommend for dinner, although I have a very nice lunch there last week.
The service is excellent. Stacey is great and super attentive. Coffee is good also. I believe they use a home brew. The only complaint was a slew of add-on taxes. I received 20 dollars extra in taxes that made no sense. I was taxed for a N/A beverage. So I was taxed for water. HUH??? I understand the pandemic and I understand there is an extra need for paying staff. But just include it in the price. I gave a generous tip (over 20%) to the server. But come on. There were four extra taxes after the city tax. Just be honest. I don’t mind paying but don’t lie.
Our dinner was incredible. Our server, Ryder, was amazing and the food was truly some of the best and most creative I’ve ever had in the city. We will be back!
A lovely room for an elegant brunch. The quality of the ingredients and plating is superb. However, the kitchen and the service were off pace. Spilled champagne on the table, coffee had to asked for twice to get it to the table, accompaniments to the entrees not as ordered. But it was a Monday holiday morning, so the "A" team might not have been working.
Solid food and service. Interesting bolognese on the brunch menu. Also had the breakfast burrito, which was good.
My steak was lukewarm
The soubise was a bit on the sweet side. But overall and enjoyable afternoon
Adorn has one of the best branches in the city. The chef makes a biscuit that is really like a semi sweet cake, as fluffy as they come. The biscuits are to die for. And their omelettes are very good also. Actually, anything you order is very good. And the service is excellent. I have many of my business meetings here and every single person who works there is excellent.
The food and staff at Adorn were both amazing I will be returning.
Great service from Stacy
Used to love eating in precious restaurants in this space. Seasons was one of the.best ever. But I don’t think this one has figured things out yet. Appetizers were very good. The Brussels sprouts were fabulous — bright and fresh with chilies and mint. Caesar was different and good. The tomato tart was lovely. But something went wrong between these flavorful, interesting appetizers and the less impressive entrees. The fried chicken was pretty good but that was it. They were out of our first choices (including French fries which figure prominently on the menu. Really? Odd thing to run out of.) The service was great, they addressed the issues quickly, but it just wasn’t a fabulous meal. I thinks they have the potential to be better and I’d try again, but not there yet.
Fabulous service from Tracy and Nora. Highly recommend the wings and Brussels sprouts.
