Over priced, cold food, didn’t get get plates with our food. Not recommended.

First of all service was really bad we at all times workers were not really looking after their customers for example we ordered drinks at 9pm received them at 9:45pm even after asking several times and we got them when we were about to leave , asked for a coal change 5 times but they would Just ignore you and and go do something else and come back 40 mins later which was absolutely not acceptable really disappointed with the service also we ordered chicken wraps and the chicken was so raw which was disgusting and a big put off don’t think I’ll be returning wouldn’t be recommending this restaurant either. Not happy at all.

Was a good lounge good vibe amazing shisha long lasting. nice food the kemma chips did come cold but got sorted but worth it amazing staff and service very helpful and quick

I booked Akaya Lounge for my birthday meal and shisha I will never do this again and highly recommend not to book Lounge, the attitude of the staff is really bad. The staff are very sarcastic even the manager, I asked the staff member if I could possibly sit where there TVs were located, he informed me that it's £35 per person to sit there. I told him not to worry I'll stay where I am, but then shortly after I watched him move two ladies over to sit there, once I spoke to the ladies they told me that they're not paying to sit there but he still moved them.
I feel like Akaya Lounge picks and chooses who they want to be nice to which should not be the case as we are all paying customers and we should be treated equally.
In the end I just had to settle the bill and leave, I went to Tamara Lounge after which had a lot better atmosphere,better customer service.

Naan were from a packet - just heated.

Food was nice and shisha was ok but definitly not worth the £25. The service was appalling and they only take cash. They wouldn't allow us to move tables even though they had space and it was cold where we were seated. Wouldn't recommend this place. Absolute crap

Firstly it is only cash only which is ridiculous. The starter was a joke, so little for what I got. The main was ok but the price is too much for what you get. Service was appalling and there is no social distancing. They had a leak in the shisha lounge area due to bad weather and the whole floor was flooded. Not impressed as they didn’t attempt to clear up the mess. Will not be visiting again

Food is outstanding and atmosphere is really good. Would come again.

Food was terrible, 3 of us ordered different types of chicken burgers there was so much salt in the burgers it was so unpleasant to eat when I told the manager he said we don’t put salt in the chicken.

Food was absolutely horrible bun was soggy chicken apparently had no salt but was all you could taste and god know where it was advertised as a green monster hmm presentation well there was none

Great atmosphere, nice shisha & food.I would recommend.

First visit, we absolutely loved the food and amazing service. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Amazing vibe great atmosphere would definitely return

Went with my friends for the first time to this place, we loved it. Vibes were great, fantastic shisha and mocktails and look forward to coming back here again

The booking seemed to be a struggle. We called to confirm our booking and kept being told that we should just turn up and there would possibly be a table for us. Given that we were a 40min drive away we kept asking if we were guaranteed our booked table as we did not want to show up to find no availability. We never got a confirmation for this, they just kept saying it should be fine.
We eneded up risking it and once we arrived it was all good from there. Service was good and the shishas as well as the food were great quality. Our waitress Aya was so friendly and fun which made up for our negative booking experience and we ended up having a great night.

Delicious food - but too expensive without the 50% off before 5pm

the restaurant is fancy with the deco, food is average and pricey the girl who took the payment was rude on the til so i will not be returning.

Akaya restaurant was amazing, the atmosphere there is just so lively and great, the food was brilliant, i would recommend it to everyone.

Food was okay. Service was so bad! We came in and were not given any menus till we asked. We then had to ask someone if we can order food and then we had to ask someone to change the coal on our shisha. Not once were we approached to ask if everything was okay or if we actually needed anything

Staff were completely ignoring us, my friend received her food 50 minutes later then all of us, they were saying 2 more minutes for half an hour. The waiter said it will be taken off the bill because it took so long but when we went to pay another man tried arguing with us insisting that we still pay for it. Don’t recommend this place it’s dead.

Considering I rang up earlier to enquire as I was coming from wales, I was left waiting almost half hour for a table I had already booked online. To then be seated at the back of the room where the rain was dripping on us. Once I asked to be moved there was a young girl waitress who had no desire to sort us out and just kept trying to avoid us the rest of the night. Ordered food and only half came, apparently the tablet they used didn’t send the proper order through to the kitchen but then when it was time to pay we were expected to pay for everything even what we didn’t receive, only when we stated we didn’t receive it did they reluctantly take it off the bill. The shisha maker was so lovely but everyone else needs to learn to smile and be more approachable. I was recommended to come here by my friend that runs the page shisha spots. I sent him all the videos and he will be at some point coming back for a re-review because I stated it most definitely isn’t 5*. Very very disappointed

Service is beyond awful! The restaurants wasn’t busy yet took 45 minutes to be served. This has happened on both occasions.
People hang round your table in groups.
Doors constantly left open so it’s freezing!

Food was of great standard. Taste was on point
Some of the food got muddled up like the chicken and halloumi sandwich had no halloumi. Ordered the same wings twice and got different wings.

Went there for a birthday of 12 guests. Ambiance was lovely.

The customer service was not so great hard to get the attention of the staff and it was hard to know who was the staff.

I hope all nationalities are treated the same and equal.

I visited Akaya with my husband and kids. I was really looking forward to having a nice meal with my family. They had an offer on their insta page which was half price of food and kids eat free. I wasn't sure of this was too good to be true so I called the restaurant a day before my visit to make sure this was the case. The man who answered the phone asked me how many kids I was bringing? Which I thought was a random question, to which I replied 2. He said OK if you bringing 2 then I will do the kids meal for free for you, I explained that this is already something you are promoting online. Anyway the table was booked for 4.15pm. When we arrived no one took our temperature or asked us to wear mask while in the restaurant. They just told us to fill the book in with name and details. When the waiter came over, he took our order and I again asked him about the kids eating free, he said yes. Then after some time he came back and said no they don't eat free! Now at this point my husband and I felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed. He then came back and said its half price for kids. This had already ruined our mood, as we looked like liars!the manager came over and told us that they are doing us a favour by giving us half price food!and he will give free kids meals to keep us happy. While eating someone from stadd came and said make sure you tell them the free kida meal offer!When we went to pay for the bill, we had been charged full price for the whole food!! I was very annoyed at this point. Then they only reduced the mix grill and rest was full price. Although we had been told we will not be charged for kids, we had also been charged for 2 fresh orange juice which we didn't order. When I questioned this the manager asked if I was sure I dint drink and forgot?! I even showed them what they had advertised on Instagram. Which they said was a mistake. I was very unhappy about my experience and noone was giving me managers name to complain! Sam Farid

We were pleasantly surprised. The mixed grill and fish tikka were very nice. Well cooked, tender with perfect flavours. Right now they have a mid day mid week special discount which made the price reasonable. Outside of this time is say it's a bit pricey. But it's a nice place, with a nice ambience. They've catered for the Covid situation quite well also. I'd recommend it

Food was amazing, shisha was good, and service was very friendly and hospitable. Only downside is that you cannot have tapwater, my friend wanted to have his meds so that is wh we wanted tap water and not buy mineral water but you can only buy water. Regardless, food prices were really good and the meat was anything but chewy and dry. Very juicy and nicely cooked. Decor is 10/10 too

Really bad service wouldn't recommend avoid at all costs!

Lovely place but music was too loud couldn't hear my friend talk portions of the starters are too small and service was bad was very hard to get the staffs attention. But on the plus side food and drinks were really nice and loved the photo section and the front. Would defo come here again.

Amazing atmosphere and the waiters are sooo lovely. Definitely will be visiting again.

Visited Akaya lounge last week sat. Had an amazing time. Staff was very attentive and polite. Ambience was great , I would definitely go back.
