Everything from walking through the door to the end of the meal was fabulous. We are adding this to the list of must go places when we are in town!

My brother and I went this past week and were pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and felicitous variety of food. We started with the paragraph bravas which were excellent and both had the special burger. It was the best tasting burger I have ever had. Only thing that could have made it better is incredible fries vs the chips, but to be honest, it was mindblowing. I’m not a burger person and it was perfectly cooked and in a delicious sauce with a crispy cheese layer added to perfection. You have to check out this place!!!

Amazing experience. Quiet and fun. We went for the 3/30 deal and of course got extra. Was a really great menu.

Amazing place. My favorite in Cambridge

Have been here before pre-COVID but this was my first time since then, and was super excited to be back! We booked a brunch table early to avoid crowds (11:00 a.m. on a Sunday) & it was PERFECT, nice & quiet without too many people. Our server was amazing, as was the rest of the staff & the food as always was unique and delicious. Already looking forward to going back again!

Its one of my favorite new restaurants and I never thought my ultimate favorite for over 10 years would ever have competition. The marriage of flavors, the portions, the service, the drinks were all amazing! Loved it

A quiet night during pandemic....this was a perfect spot. Our waitress was friendly and knew the menu inside and out. Highly recommend! Food was excellent...I was a little suspect at first b/c some of the combinations sounded a little out there: "Honey, Root Vegetable "carrot bolognese"? But I was wrong....everything was outstanding, perfect flavors, well put together! Will return for sure!

It's hard to pick a favorite dish. The shishito peppers? The yams?

FANTASTIC food. Got 5 dishes for two people and it was a bit too much. Next time would get 4 unless I was super hungry.

The service was excellent! We originally requested outdoor seating but it was too cold. They were able to seat us inside very quickly and the manager made sure we were comfortable. Everyone was very kind and accommodating!

Love the patio concept to increase outdoor seating. One of our very favorite restaurants in the greater Boston area.

We ordered the hot toddy with a tropical twist and it was the perfect drink on a chilly night. The patatas bravas were phenomenal (!!!!) and our server Alyssa (Elisa?) was so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

We haven’t visited in a while; and it was worth the wait. We had 9 dishes, 8 of them were SPECTACULAR. The only one that didn’t blow us away was the focaccia and veg dip, it was very good, but the other 8 dishes were incredible. Vegetarian Pasta; burger , Brussels, cauliflower Caesar, burrata were among the best bites I’ve had in the city. We brought our neighbors for there first experience and we are already planning on going back!

Loved the little patio seating in the side of the building - seemed safe and sort of like it was always there. Here’s to layers and heaters going forward!

They would benefit from getting some heaters or rugs for their outdoor dining to make it a bit cosier and improve the atmosphere a bit. Our wait staff were very attentive, which made our experience worthwhile. The food was great too.

There’s too much hype for this place. We both got the burger and it was good but they gave way too many chips. We didn’t even eat the chips. Feel bad they went to waste. The kale salad was surprisingly really good. I would recommend to go but there other places in Harvard Square I’d go to.

Alden & Harlow is my favorite restaurant. The food is creative and delicious, the ambiance is lovely, the service is perfect.

The food was outstanding as always. The restaurant did a great job at spacing out tables and accommodating for current guidelines.

An overall excellent experience. You must order the sweet corn pancakes! The service was impecable!

The food and drinks were amazing as always. I tried the Secret Burger for the first time, and it was as good as I had heard. Also, the corn pancakes were an interesting and great dish.

The service was a bit iffy, which I was surprised about, b/c, in past visits, the service was quite good. Our server seemed extremely overwhelmed and didn't give us much attention. Also, our drinks took quite long to actually come out. I expect this is related to Covid as well as sitting outside, but figured I would note it anyways.

Lastly, the outdoor patio was great. My only comment was that the vibe wasn't great. It would have been nice to have some music playing (or at least some other noise to drown out some of the noises from surrounding buildings).

Great restaurant for dinner, very sub par brunch across the board. Disappointing experience, no one enjoyed their meal and even traditionally stellar dishes (secret burger and charred broccoli) which I’ve had before and loved, were average at best. Crisp chili steak and eggs was particularly disappointing, undercooked poached eggs and more than a few pieces of steak were gristly. Kale salad was still great

The food is amazing, the cocktails are refreshing and absolutely delicious! I was impressed by how well-spaced all the tables were given the pandemic and staff were all awesome. 10/10 would recommend!

We had special burgers. the pickled corn pancakes, and the chicken special. Everything was excellent.

Each time I've been to Alden and Harlow I have found the food to be over salted. That is not something I've experienced at any other restaurant. They do a unique interpretation of vegetable dishes which I find pleasing (barring the extra salt). The menu is limited in there selection of protein options.

Food was delicious but overpriced. You come to find out when you’re about to order, that the food is actually “small plate” style but it’s pricing does not match the tapas style they alude to. Still delicious though.
