Alessandro's Italian Pop Up at The Rose of Australia Hotel

Enjoyable place, food was very tasty and staff friendly but maybe too much noise for my liking.

The food at Alessandro’s is amazing! The menu is not your standard Italian/pub meal but something rather special. Highly recommend!

Group of 5 of us celebrating a few big birthdays, great table, great service , wonderful food, loved it !

We were all very pleasantly surprised. Didn’t know what to expect. Food was excellent and value for money. We had a Vegan diner and chef conjured an amazing meal. Might go vegan myself next time. Was also surprised how quiet it was.

Great food, We felt like being in my own home having a family dinner. Alessandro made us feel very welcome! Great food and professional service. We will definitely go back because we loved it.

My friends thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Alessandro's. The service from Tom - knowledgeable, friendly and just great. Alessandro was personable and accommodating with my late vegan friend. Making dishes just for her. Definitely will be back.

Wonderful experience! The food was delicious, could not fault it! Service and atmosphere were friendly and there was a relaxed vibe. The chef came to each table and made diners feel valued and welcome. would highly recommend!

There was 4 of us dining, checked the menu & there was 4 selections on the menu of the 3 course menu, so we thought we could try all options. They were all great, can't remember every item but the entree of smoked tuna was melt in your mouth & the carpaccio was delicious. The primi stand outs were risotto & porcini cappelleti, last the secondi were the lamb shoulder & grilled swordfish. But every dish was wonderful & tasty & don't forget the cannoli is a must. We were greeted by Alessandro & he explained his dishes to us & was so friendly that we even given some of his homemade Limoncello, that if it was a option you'd just drink that! Had a unforgettable tasting experience that we enjoyed & very well priced too!

Just wow - excellent service and great food. I hope Alessandro is more than a pop-up!

Wonderful food and excellent service upstairs at The Rose.

The small, separate area, which was more fine dining is gone. It’s now all bar service. I was surprised they still accepted a reservation. Food was excellent, very small servings of the specials which were served with no sides.

Love the space, and the food was really great (in particular the Sunday roast was delicious!) great service too.

Great night out!
