Welcoming reception at the front door. After 10 mins, we were asked to order but hadn't been advised of the scanning menu. Starters we got skewers and wings well there was plenty of food it eas quirt tasteless. The main course came for a party of 4 minus one meal. We had to wait 10 mins for this meal to arrive. One of the parties ordered the duck with no veg, but it arrived with veg in the dish. Staff could be a little friendlier. Overall experience was average.

We had a fab evening. The staff were amazing. Especially Evelina, she looked after us so well, was attentive to everyone and we were never left waiting for drinks. The atmosphere was great and food was delicious. Will defo be back soon 😉.

If you sit upstairs, you have to go to the bar for drinks and when you want your next food course, you also have to inform the bar. The staff were friendly and helpful, bit a bit more attention to table service is required.

Food was just not good, ordered loaded goujons and garlic bread for starter and the goujons were just drowned in franks hot sauce,noting else,couldn’t eat them,and the garlic bread was a baguette with cheese on it no garlic flavour at all, the burger was like one you buy from the supermarket and make yourself,will not be back

Great gem in the heart of Dublin. Small venue but makes up in quality of food and service. I had soup to start which was delicious. I then had a burger and fries. The price was reasonable considering the restaurant is in Dublin 2.

Very disappointed with the experience, food was overcooked, cold and tasteless, wine was warm, only starting dessert and half bottle of wine told that they needed the table in 10 minutes. We will definitely not be recommending Alfie’s and will not be back.

Ambience is great, however the food was not worth the hype, and any drink bar the cocktails was not up to standard especially the Heineken. Would recommend for a few drinks with friends but not for a meal.
