Alla Salute Trattoria
Amazing food, friendly staff,
Definitely my favourite place to enjoy the authentic Italian food.
Service is so important, when it’s bad it can ruin a good meal and when it’s good it can enhance your experience. I’m pleased to say, that, even though she was on her own, our waitress was excellent. It may not have been the fastest service ever but we didn’t need or expect that. The food and the wine were very good, authentic, pugliese, home-cooking style fare and reasonably priced. We will be back. Recommended.
Nice place, bit pricey but good pizza , make sure you get a voucher if parked outside or you could get a ticket
The food here was great and so was the service. Will come back again.
Our first visit for a family celebration - my daughter had been before and recommended - really nice people, good service, excellent food focussed on the south of Italy and Puglia - very good wines from the region as well. A very nice evening with no pressure and at reasonable cost. We will be back.
The pizzas were great (I'm Italian, so I should probably know). The service was also excellent. My family and I felt very welcome. I would also recommend the desserts, especially the ice cream.
Excellent food and service. I would definitely come back.
Happened on this lovely restaurant whilst visiting nearby Greenwich. Couldn’t have been more pleased. All the food was home made and tasted of Italy at it’s best. A fair variety on the menu which was good value for money as was the wine. We both ate the monkfish pasta and drank the house wine. We will return.
We had a lovely Birthday celebration meal at Alla Saluta. The food was delicious and service excellent. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone
Relaxed atmosphere, authentic food and friendly service
Great food, and wonderful service
Really nice food!! Nice pilsner on tap and very pleasant atmosphere
tutto ok, buona cucina italiana con un'ottima pizza. La pasta un po' meno buona (troppo scotta).
Fabulous pizzas, friendly service and excellent quality ingredients. Will return.
It's a real treasure, with fantastic wine. We usually have the pasta, typical pugliese dishes beautifully rendered. This time we had pizzas and they were outstanding. The Gargano is a sumptuous, chewy bellyful in the Napoli style, the Brindisi crisp and light in a completely different tradition. Maestra Enrica will amaze those unfamiliar with the cuisine of the Mezzogiorno, and bring a tear to the eye of a native.
My pasta was very disappointing but my friends pizza was good. The house red was delicious though! And the service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very quiet with only 1 other table and it was quite pricey for what it was I thought. However I will prob give it another try as the service was so nice and the pizza and wine was good:)
Delicious pizza and pasta, such a gem in Deptford!
A very cosy, intimate restaurant slightly off the beaten track in Greenwich. Really good food, we especially loved the ricotta dessert with dark chocolate, delicious!
We had a leisurely lunch mid afternoon and had the place to ourselves. What a great find! Tasty Puglian food, good wines, friendly and cheerful staff. I wish them well.
Amazing place to eat! Will recommend 100%, staff extremely friendly.
Went with friends on a trip to Greenwich. Great food and great service. Starters were excellent and the Pizzas were really good.
I’ve been here with friends for dinner and we all were delight by the proper pugliese italian menu and fresh ingredients.
We shared and antipasti plate of cheeses and cured meat served with rocket salad and bread with olive oils and sundried tomatoes, everything was really tasty and fresh. Then we all decide to go for a pizza, I choosed the one with fresh Burrata and Crudo, the dough was really light and crispy due to the long lievitation and the burrata was so creamy and delicious.
To end the dinner I had an affogato with the mighty “Quarta” coffe.
The floor staff and the chef are two lovely and friendly girl from Puglia which make us like feeling at home.
If you live south east is a must go, and also if you live somewhere else is defo worh the trip! London South Club Card is welcome as well
Our host Enrica's welcome was as warm and friendly as ever, matched only by the delicious food and wine!
Small friendly and efficient restaurant serving genuine regional Italian food and wine at a very fair price. Nice atmosphere. Both regular dishes and pizza are worth trying... and going back; we will :-)
Fantastic little restaurant, hidden away around the corner from Deptford Bridge station.
Only a 2 person operation, but the service and food was fabulous! Authentic and very tasty, I’d definitely go back if in the area!
The cosy restaurant is superb...As Italian i was feeling like i was back home.
The food was great...i had the meatballs with tomato sauce, the broadbeans puree and the pizza with Burrata...just speechless.
I will highly recommend and i can wait to go back.
Fantastic place - very friendly and welcoming, wonderful, authentic Puglian food. In a slightly obscure location but not so far from central Greenwich amd Deptford and well worth tracking down.
Lovely warm and attentive service with very good food and wine choice to match.
Small friendly environment. ..very good for family celebrations. Fresh and good food. Simple yet very enjoyable. Remarkable wine selection
Went here with an Italian friend who really loved the food and had a lovely chat with the staff - made him feel at home. Pizza outstanding and great wine. Such a cute little find!
Had a lovely family meal. All dishes cooked to perfection and very friendly efficient service!
Brilliant spot, highly recommend checking it out - the pizza was incredible and the lady who runs the place is just as incredible! Very layed back environment! Had a great time! Thank you!
As an Italian living in the area I am glad I finally had the pleasure to try Alla Salute Trattoria. Everything brought me back home - the quality of the ingredients, the recipes and most importantly the friendly attitudine of staff. Even if it was a cold evening outside their polite, yet energetic, smiley approach of the two girls working there made it a very warm evening. I am sure I will find an occasion to go back soon.
Great Italian food with very welcoming and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere and we enjoyed a lovely evening.
Nice place, warm staff, excellent food. Excellent food meaning fresh and tasty ingredients, gorgeous recipes, and cooking mastery. This is a hidden treasure!
Amazing authentic Italian! We're frequent visitors and enjoy the restaurant as an entire family.
This place has become our local favourite. Enrica always does us proud: a friendly welcome, fabulous food and wine from Puglia. What more could you ask for?
A modest wine list, but very well selected. I ordered a glass of the primitivo and it was extremely good, for essentially, a house wine. The food was also good - I had the chef's special monkfish pasta with saffron sauce. My friend's young daughter had a margherita I would have perphaps preferred a little less sauce... However, all of the flavours seemed authentic and well considered. It's a small place, but was very busy, yet still retained a lovely, casual atmosphere. The one waitress was extremely charming and friendly, despite the fact she must have been rushed off her feet! I would definitely return.
Great little find and a stones throw from Deptford DLR station. Really authentic Italian food like it should be, which made a pleasant change from the usual Italian chains we visit with the kids. Run by a passionate Italian partnership, who were very keen to help us in anyway they could. I wasn’t particularly keen on my pasta special (too bitter for me), but the mussels starter and tiramisu were to die for. Not cheap but great authentic Italian food made with real passion.
No doubt, on of the best pizzas in London. Thin, crisp and topped with tasty ingredients, just the way how a genuine pizza should be. I can’t stop coming back!!!
