Booked for 14 people 4 days Prior. Service was non existent. Took ages for someone to take the order. Went to the bar because it was taking so long and they said it was table service. then they run out of the ordered beer 15 minutes later. Took an hour and a half to get 2x rounds of drinks. It wasn't busy either. Was hot and stuffy. Pretty disappointing.

Enjoyed it so much! The complimentary chips were so yummy! Drinks were strong and music was outstanding

Went there for a work dinner, I always recommend aloha to friends. Went there excited to show my collegues instead meals took 2hr and half to come out and it was not well timed between meals. I was a little disappointed. Not equip for large crowd excuse was that the receipt didnt print all things ordered.
I would recommend for a dinner for a couple not a group since venue was able to keep up meals for 9 people.

Great hidden away venue. Fantastic atmosphere and very laid back. Great staff who are very helpful. Cocktails are so much fun. Food menu was nice just wish there were a few more options. Overall definitely great night out.

The tacos, very good deal, however they are not the classic ones, they are more like tostadas where the tortilla is fried and filled, but in overall good flavour

Made a dinner booking for 8pm, arrived at 7.50pm and were standing outside at the door for 10 minutes without being approached despite all the servers walking by. We went inside to enquire and were told to go back outside to scan the QR code, and when we told them we'd already scanned and made a booking, we were told to go back out anyway where we waited another 5 minutes before the same worker came back with an iPad to check our booking. He seemed surprise to see that we were now almost 10 minutes late for our booking thanks to the slow service, and were then rushed in and taken to a dirty bar table as all the dinner tables had been given away. No verbal communication, let alone an apology, was made at all. He just pointed at the table and walked off. We were left there sitting for 10 minutes and weren't approached again, so we just walked out and the workers just watched us and said nothing.

Great atmosphere and decor. Staff are super friendly, helpful and constantly working hard to make sure your night goes well. Also were very understanding and accomodating considering all this covid bs.

Food was unfortunately terrible. We ordered rice paper rolls, they were flovourless and had no filling. Very disappointing. They had no drink options with no sugar. Service was good, attentive wauters.

Aloha punch was amazing and service was great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back!

The only thing is that, if you are going for a nice dinner asked to be seated away from the speaker as we were right under it and it was a little hard to hear what the others on my table were saying. Music was really good though 🙂

Very small serving size especially tacos
First time order food came half an hr later which was fine but then when we re ordered for more food, we waited for more than an hour.

Food is always great. However this is the second time you have forgotten part of our meal. I waited 40mins for dumplings to find out that they weren't even ordered due to 'technical issues'

I am reluctant to recommend Aloha to friends because of this. Which is a shame because the food is great

Taco Tuesday, good value for money. Nice atmosphere. Music was at a good level

Food was pretty yum, but servings are small for the price. Service was very average - lovely staff, but half the drinks came out before others (we were celebrating and wanted to do a 'toast' but had to wait 10 mins before everyone had a drink in their hand.) And then the same with the meals, half were served and then others were still 15 mins away. The music was incredibly loud, felt more like a nightclub than a restaurant.

your site let me book for wedneday. got there and they are not open on wednesdays.....so dont know what to say about the place

I have been to Aloha Bar before so I booked it this time for my birthday as I knew it was a pretty chilled and relaxed place plus I loved the atmosphere. The food was amazing and their drink selection, especially their cocktails are to die for! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cool place to grab dinner or looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion. The staff will look after you well and you’ll have a great time.

We were placed right next to the loud speakers and it was impossible to hear and talk to each other - We asked to be move somewhere else but it was only the next seat across that was available. The service was okay, however we had to call out at least a few times just to get someones attention. Portion size was average - We did expect a little bit more for the Pork Belly and Rice for $20.... However food was still quite tasty.

I understand that Aloha is a bar that serves food, however when you can't hear the person sitting 2 feet away and you're 10m away from the speakers it becomes annoying. Wait staff appeared perplexed at our requests to turn music a little softer and we negotiated to be moved to a quieter part...near the front door.

Cocktails are well made and present well. Food consists of tasty bar snacks of wonton wrapper fried tacos, chicken skewers, poke bowls etc. All of which we had 12 months prior to our latest visit.

So if consistent food and beverages in a tiki styled bar is your thing...there are not that many tiki bars in SE QLD compared with the US....then this will suffice

Went for a girls night out, booked a nice table, had happy hour drinks and yummy snack Taco's, Was a good experience

Don't waste your time or money. Food was good however, the level of service was absolutely appalling. Not only did they get simple things wrong like scotch instead of bourbon and call it the same thing but they waited until all the food had been brought out before telling one member of our party that they couldn't make his meal. All other drink orders were extremely slow if not completely wrong. When we got the bill all the wrong items were on there which after a discussion with one of the staff members were removed which was great however they involved a security guard in the process. Not one time did we raise our voice or were aggressive. Find somewhere with better atmosphere, service and somewhere that focuses on their customers.

This place has no street signage, and the locals cannkt tell u how to access it, when we thought we found it there was a man peeing on the street against a dumpster, which was presumably their graffitti mark hidey hole entrance ! Disgusting

Food was amazing as always, but unfortunately it was a very hot night, and the air-conditioning was out of action meaning we were sitting there sweating the whole time, Not only that but the ATM in there was also out of order, and considering they don't split bills this became a nightmare for everyone at our table. You should really consider starting to split bills as it only takes a couple of minutes extra so it shouldn't be such a big deal. walking to an ATM was ages away.

Quirky place tasty food very small portions service was terrible we were a table of 8 we ordered at the same time and our dishes came out staggered over an hours wait so we were all eating at different times which we were not happy with !

Terrible customer service on Thursday night. I don't know if they were under staff but they all looked stressed. We ended up leaving after 1 drink that took 30mins to make. We were very unhappy customers when we left. We love tiki bars and aloha is an awesome tiki bar I just don't think they were having a great night on Thursday and it showed.

Such a cute little dining experience tucked out of the way. Awesome spot hour specials, extensive cocktail menu and great variety of food options with a Asian spin on the menu. Serving staff very friendly and attentive. Thanks for having us!

We were waiting for more than 15min and nobody comes to service us. Pretty loud music, we didn’t try the food due to we decided move to another place instead.

Nice cozy ambience. Tasty, reasonably-priced food. $1 Oysters on Sundays. Drinks on the expensive side. Overall a great dining experience.

We dinned on a saturday night, and it was moderately busy on arrival at 7.15pm. It got much busier by the time we left at 9pm. I made a reservation and was seated immediately, we had a bench table alcove seating 5 people. It was close to the bar and dj. The food was tasty and fresh and came out with 20-30minutes or less. Our table mostly ordered the poke bowls which we enjoyed the only concern was some were a bigger serving then others. This was not a huge deal, however a friend ordered another poke bowl to share and it was much bigger then her 1st one. She stated if that was the 1st one she wouldn't have needed to order another. So maybe a reveiw on potion consistency otherwise wonderful food with friendly and attentive staff.
