Alpha Pop

We dined here for lunch on Saturday and loved it!
I’ve always been a big fan of Alpha and Alpha Pop is just as great but with a beautiful view.
We will definitely be going back before it relocates back to the original restaurant.

We had the feast menu- such wonderful value! And all tasted superb! Loved out lunch here on the harbour, what a wonderful spot

Beautiful sunny evening with a straight view to the Opera House. Couldn’t ask for more.

Amazing restaurant and food. My only small criticism would be we felt a bit rushed - our entrée arrived and the the mains followed 2 mins later. Perhaps this is probably COVID related due to the confined set dining periods.

Great location with Alphas clever take on classic Greek food defiantly worth visiting.

The speaker was very close to us which was a little loud, but it was turned away to help...awesome views again...sad they are not staying at this location.

The view is amazing and the restaurant looks lovely. We had the banquet menu which was very basic but done nicely. Service was extremely slow. We had a nice night but I wouldn't go back.

Food was delicious, service both frequent and friendly and difficult to fault that view.

Although I have been to Alpha many times at Castlereagh Street and the food was great.

On this occasion Alpha pop did not deliver, the lamb shoulder was bland, served at room temperature. The potatoes were not seasoned and the waiter did not explain the octopus dish was an entree size not a main.

Absolutely loved Alpha Pop, have told everyone I know how fabulous it was. Food delicious, service excellent, and the harbour location is unbeatable! Generous portions and reasonably priced too.

Such a great night out celebrating two birthdays.The food was exceptional,the best taramasalata I have ever eaten.Every dish we shared surpassed expectation.
Great wine list and very good service from friendly staff.
Strongly recommend trying Alpha pop in this location before it moves back to it's permanent home which is being renovated.

I had a recommendation from a friend for Alpha (Castlereagh St). Alpha Pop didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and the servings were generous. Location in Campbells Cove was beautiful on a summers evening with views of the harbour and Opera House. The staff were very attentive but casual (in a good way). I would highly recommend before it leaves it's harbour location to go back to Castlereagh St. Saying that, I will definitely go to Alpha again in the future.

Loved the overall experience at AlphaPop. Ordered the spanakopita, pumpkin keftedes, prawn saganaki, loukoumades and chocolate baklava.. all of them were beautifully cooked and presented. Flavours were lovely and portions very generous. Good wine list and has recommendations from the waiter.. service was good without being overbearing. Will go back!

Food was very good and great al fresco dining. Service was excellent.

Celebrated friends birthday the other night. The ambience, location, food, service and evening was great. We had lovely weather, our waiter was very good, great view. Loved the taramasalata, the prawn saganaki, lamb and everything we chose. The dessert was great too. Will miss this spot when they move back to Castlereagh Street but looking forward to dining with Alpha again soon.

As always, the food, cocktails, ambience and service were amazing. Can't wait to go back. Where else in Sydney can you dine and have the view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House in a lavish outdoor European setting with a delicious modern Greek cuisine from a very talented chief.

Reserved at Alpha Pop for my birthday to spend with some girlfriends BEST decision ever! Service was amazing, we were all looked after, food was delicious and ridiculously filling (we had got the set menu) everything was perfect! Couldn’t recommend a better place! Would definitely go again!

Alpha pop was the perfect venue for a family celebration. Fantastic food, service and view made for a memorable lunch. Going to come back for sure for work Xmas dinner.

Saganakie was 4/10 but the rest of the food was amazing

I celebrated my birthday at Alpha Pop on a Friday night. The food was outstanding and the service was beyond excellent, the staff did a great job of making me feel special and ensuring I had a great night. The weather was pretty poor and we were sat outside, however, the staff brought over extra heaters to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you so much for a lovely night!

Good environment, good food. I would be better to have a more lights around

This is one of our local restaurants but we really felt like we were on holidays. The outdoor seating is wonderful, food is great, staff are lovely
