outstanding service excellent food and well priced!

This is our perfect night out for dinner, we’re beginning to make a weekly habit of it.

Delivers quality food in a lovely atmosphere with lots of air coming through the open garage doors. Would love an expanded beverage listing on the menu.

The Ambassador has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I had forgotten that it was sold by the original owner and my previous experience there after the new owner took over wasn’t great. But I figured they had worked out the kinks. They did not. The food was good but not as good as it once was. The service was TERRIBLE. Our appetizers came quickly but they changed the recipe of the meat samosa and it’s not as good anymore. Then, it took a long while for our main courses. No one checked on us after our meal was served and our empty plates sat in front of us for 30 min before I flagged down a waiter. When our waiter didn’t come back, I had to ask for the dessert menu. They didn’t have a dessert menu but told us what they offered. It took an unusually long time for us to get one cup of coffee and one dessert (rice pudding—not as good as I remembered from previous visits under former ownership). I didn’t even have to say anything and they comped our coffee and dessert. I am not likely to return. I’d rather go to Peerce’s (now owned by former owners of Ambassador) which is always a delicious meal with exceptional service, the way The Ambassador used to be.

They were very accommodating for the vegan in our party. Hopefully, they will consider adding more vegan choices.

Excellent food and great friendly professional service

This is a neighborhood gem within walking distance. The food and service never disappoint and the outdoor seating (especially by the fire cannot be beat).

It had been some while that we had been. The food had always been good, but these days it is great. Service was very friendly. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience.

The waitress when asked if they had plastic utensils told me and my fiance' no, I got up and asked the owner if they had plastic utensils and he said yes, when the plastic utensils were received they had brown and black spots on them. It was a terrible experience.

The food was great. I recommend the veggie samosa and chicken biryani. I can’t wait to try more dishes!

My favorite restaurant in Baltimore. It's perfect for a romantic dinner, or for a larger gathering of family or friends. The food is delicious and the ambiance is superb. Even during covid, they have a set up that makes sense and feels safe.

The Ambassador is a gem. We loved our food, the service, and the ambiance. One of our favorite date night spots in the city.

Please try this neighborhood gem! Lovely, lovely outdoor setting, with fireplaces and heat lamps. I had heard from acquaintances lamenting that "it just wasn't the same" (i.e. as good) as when the previous owners were at the helm...I disagree! The food was outstanding and, unlike during previous ownership, when you ask for it spicy, it comes out spicy--the new chef is not afraid to honor your request! I always got the impression that the previous owners were afraid to make things spicy for fear of disappointment or complaint. Not so any longer--delicious, flavorful, right amount of heat. The lunch special is a great way to try their menu--the garlic naan is the best! Service was spot on, just the right amount, not overly attentive, which can be bothersome. We will be heading back there soon!

It was me and my husband first time eating @ Ambassador Dining Room I can say the ambience was nice and the food met our expectations. We will dine here again.

Chana Masala, Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, Samosas...all were divine.

We have not been going out because of CoVID and it was our anniversary and really wanted to go. This is one of our favorite places and they offer outdoor dining so we thought we would try. We were so thrilled to find it felt very safe and they took all precautions seriously. The food was amazing, the wait staff was top notch and the ambiance you can’t beat. I would definitely recommend this and I will be going back.

Wonderful decor, attentive staff, even management engaged with the clientele. The food is exquisite, tasty, intriguing, fresh/clean & balanced.

The food, atmosphere, covid-sensitivity and service were all good. I don’t recommend the shrimp adrak (ashrak?) but otherwise the food was delicious. We’d go back. It’s a very pretty place.

This is good solid Indian food. They have done a very good job of using their patio for outdoor dining with lots of space between tables. The patio itself is lovely and makes for a pleasing setting. We used to go there all the time for their Sunday brunch buffet but ... alas ... no more. Service is excellent.

I saw that the Ambassador was still having outside dining and so I jumped on the chance to visit one of my old favorites. The Ambassador is one of the most consistent, wonderful experiences of Baltimore dining. The food was amazing as always and even with a heavy downpour, the rain only made the experience more romantic.

Definitely the best setting for outdoor dining in Baltimore. Food is delicious, and service is great. I was disappointed they didn't have chai to go with my dessert, but they did just re-open! My friend and I had a wonderful time.
