The food is always delicious however I wish there was a little more variety in seafood.
I enjoy Amelia’s, I’ve gone there a few times and the food, service and drinks were always amazing!
The service was great. The food was good although the dumpling were too salty, maybe the soy sauce took away from the dumpling flavor. And the rigatoni pasta was way too peppery.
We dine at Amelia’s at least once every 6-8 weeks and realized that the entrees weren’t that great
But the appetizers were
The potatoes au gratin is a tasteless gelatinous mess
The fingerling potatoes had too much cracked pepper
My salmon was over cooked and the mustard sauce was caked on
No too appetizing all in all
The Statler Chicken was extremely dry and tasteless
The place was BEAUTIFUL and the prices are actually kind of cheap. It was my first time and I LOVED THE PLACE. The pasta I ordered needed to be cooked alittle more but overall DELICIOUS. I recommend the New York cheese cake. Its to die for
Waitress was so friendly. Food and service was exceptional
As usual we had a delicious meal, muscles, caesar salad and lamb chops. Our waiter was excellent! Love the atmosphere. A favorite of ours.
Went for Valentines dinner. My husband and I used to be regulars here but we moved so it’s not as convenient. We love Amelia’s and we’re super excited for our dinner. We both got the same special. Surf and turf. It’s was delicious BUT such a tiny portion. We left and were still hungry when we got home- not to mention it was very pricey for such a small portion. Oh well.
Great staff, food & ambiance !
Nicole the hostess was lovely
Food was excellent! Great service and an excellent place for a birthday dinner
We are “regulars” at Sophia’s in West Roxbury and have always enjoyed sitting at the bar, there, for drinks and snacks.
Amelia’s was great, too!
Reservation for 7:15 and we were seated on time. The menu was great and we enjoyed the steak egg rolls and arroncini appetizers. The steak was done perfectly and the ravioli was delicious!
Service was great and we will definitely be back.
Every aspect led to a memorable "Early Valentines Day" dinner, from the greeting from the hosts, the table/booth, our waiter, the food and the drinks. Appetizers of baked oysters and calamari were both nicely done, main courses of shrimp (a special that night) and salmon worth ordering again, all accompanied by good wine and a man-sized Manhattan. Nice job, Amelia's!
Amelia’s is a great restaurant for evenings out to celebrate adult occasions. Ambiance is geared toward date nights. Sultry wood tones, low lights. Great service. Amazing food. Beautiful bar and low lit lounge area complete with fireplace.
The staff, including server and the ambiance of the restaurant were great! Server was very attentive and pleasant. We thought the food was ok, the value for the food was not what we expected. The pricing was a little too much for the taste of the food.
Awesome they gave us the booth we requested
Always a great meal! It’s a great place to bring my parents when they come to visit. A bit expensive but the food is delicious.
Service and food were the best we have had, and that is in comparison to fine dining in Boston. (Specifically: the filet and cheesecake). There is a wide selection on the menu of food and drink for everyone. Matt was the best! Attentive, entertaining, and read our minds when we needed something. We will be back soon.
The food and services was outstanding,, the only drawback was the air condition for the restaurant.
Service was excellent and our food was good. I feel like the price point is a bit high. I had the halibut special at $36.00. It’s was served on top of red pepper ricotta ravioli. The halibut was excellent, but the ravioli seemed very commercial. I thought the prices in general are a bit higher than the food warrants. That said, Amelia’s ambience and decor are wonderful and the restaurant is a welcome addition to the community.
This place is amazing every time I go
Food was great! Only issue is that this is the second time in a month that we have been and they have run out of the special and several desserts.
Joseph was excellant waiter we have had him before very good
Overall a good experience. It is nice that you can order from the bar menu as well as the regular menu. Took our server a little while to come back to the table (we only had a wine list not a cocktail menu).
Great for any occasion! Service, food and ambiance are always spot on. We have dined here many times. My husband seems to be stuck on their spaghetti plate which he loves. I have had many of their dishes and have never been disappointed.
As always the food and service were amazing. Never have I had a bad meal. This time we tried the grilled octopus for an appetizer and words cannot do it justice. Simply spectacular!!! Make sure you save room for dessert!! Wish it was a little quieter....
Very attentive service. Delicious food and great presentation. I highly recommend the cedar plank salmon.
Excellent food.... great service.....wonderful waitstaff...... always excellent
So loud one could not have a conversation.
Great food, service and environment.
Joe the bartender was great!
We love Amelia's, everything is always delicious and service is outstanding .
The service was excellent.
Food and service was outstanding, the con was they add administration fee for the kitchen help. The pricing they get should cover that. Poor choice on there part.
Great food and service.
We ate off the small plate menu and it was awesome
My first time at Amelia’s and everything was wonderful! Will be back😊
We went to Amelias for the first time on New Year’s Eve and let me be the first to say that as soon as you walk in the doors you do NOT feel like you’re in Stoughton, MA! The building itself is beautiful. The menu looks outstanding. The prices are on the expensive side but the food was definitely quality. We each ordered the special which was a filet with lobster tail and a side. I felt $50 was a little much for the portion size and the lobster was a little over cooked but still had great flavor. The disappointment was the appetizer. We ordered the Tuna tartare except it was more of whipped avocado with a touch of tuna. It was “layered” but coming from two restaurant workers, we felt that you should at least be able to see a clear layer of the tuna, not have to “fish” through the stack to find it. We would have told the waiter but he never asked how the appetizer was or the meal. Only asked if we needed anything once the entree was dropped. He was kind but seemed shy. The entrees took quite some time but we didn’t mind one bit. The server offered us a dessert on the house due to the special evening and the wait for our entrees. We weren’t planning on dessert but obv wouldn’t pass that up! Overall the experience was great and I would recommend, just not the tuna app!
Our reservation was for 6:45 PM. As soon as we arrived we were promptly seated. We were seated directly in front of the fireplace which made the ambience excellent. Our server, Lucien, was very attentive to our every need. Our meals were cooked to perfection. Most importantly we were not rushed to leave. After 3 1/2 hours we left. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you and your staff for making our New Year’s Eve great.
Fourth time here. Previous visits had been very good. Current visit disappointing. Party of 4. Seated in back room which holds larger parties. Very loud! Dinners were ok but one guest's meat was over cooked and potato was cold. Felt it might have sat waiting for another dish to be completed. Multiple Wait staff would quickly crowed around a table as it opened for cleaning which was distracting and added to the noise level. Overall not the positive experience that we previously enjoyed and which brought us back again. Unfortunate.
