    I come here every time I visit Baltimore and it's always fantastic. Great views over the water, really good food, and not nearly as difficult to get a table as other restaurants. If you're staying in the inner harbor, it's worth the 10 minute car ride to eat here!

    Absolutely beautiful evening! Best crab and lobster BLT I’ve ever had! My friends swordfish sandwich was incredible too! Our service was impeccable and the manager Joey is fantastic! He made sure everything was perfect and even took time to take pics of us with the phenomenal water view in the background.

    My guest and I truly enjoyed our dining experience at Ampersea. Janaye our sever was a absolute sweetheart. She was very warm and welcoming. She gave great menu recommendations and was very attentive without being overbearing! Joey (manager) table touch was very special. Joey made my guest and I feel like we were VIP! He was very nice, extremely friendly and made our night extra special. The food was great! I had the special swordfish and my guest had the stuffed chicken. Our night ended with another special manager touch from Lamont. Lamont gave us great convo and a good laugh! Great way to end the night! We will back! Thank you!

    Our waiter, Warren was so attentive and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for anyone better! Food was delicious. Definitely recommend the burrata toast! Can’t wait to go back.

    Great setting along the water of Baltimore Harbor! There was live music by a singing guitarist. Our server, Warren, was excellent. We enjoyed the special of the day-sea bass! Bread pudding, with ice cream, topped of the amazing dinner experience.

    Food was bland and uninspired, not to mention overpriced. We waited over an hour for entrees and then another 30 minutes for the check. The best part was the view.

    Awesome table on the water, ready on time. Delicious drinks, and amazing appetizers. So cool to watch all the boats with the sunset reflecting off the buildings and the water. Main course was amazing also, and our waiter was highly attentive.

    Started with Crab dip and Bavarian pretzel. Very delicious. Great outdoor seating on a beautiful summer night. Excellent crab cake!!! The best!! Also enjoyed the swordfish steak sandwich. Great service/staff at this restaurant. Would definitely dine here again.

    Ampersea was perfect for our date night and the food and ambiance were great. I highly recommend the shrimp deviled eggs and the cream of crab soup. Both were amazing! We also tried the hot honey wings but they weren’t as flavorful as we would have liked. Our drinks were great and we enjoyed the crab cake entree and the beef short rib. We live pretty far but we will definitely return.

    All the food we ordered was very good except for the cut of the night. Which ended up being a 8oz filet mignon. We ordered the steak to be cooked medium and when it was served it was more rare than medium. The ends were cooked perfectly but the middle was very red to a purple color. We sent it back to be re cooked and it came back cooked correctly however, it still had the same bloody taste it has before. Other than that the stuffed chicken we ordered was really good and the cheesy crab dip was also very good.

    Great food - when it finally came. Ordered an appetizer and it took 45 mins. Waitress was great and nice enough not to charge us. Beautiful outside views of harbor.

    The waitress was amazing. The food was ok. My granddaughter's waffles were burnt, and so was my French toast. I sent the French toast back, and the waitress did offer to have the chef do another one for me. I decided not to because I did not want the chef upset with me. The next time I visit, I will go with something else.

    The bartender in the inside was excellent. Her drinks were great. The bartender on the outside patio area drinks were not so good. The waiter was nice however, I did not like the fact that he purposefully took another party order before taking ours. I felt he focused on the fact their tip would be larger. Lastly and most importantly, my scallops weren’t done. Great favor but raw in the inside. I didn’t like my food at all.

    Great service and food but didn’t care for the 18% gratuity added to the check.. I think my server was worth more then that but because of the added gratuity he didn’t get what he should.. It should be up to the customer to tip for their service.. I do understand why they add it because some people don’t tip accordingly.

    A friend and I enjoyed brunch on the water. My brussel sprouts were very good. The steak and eggs were pretty good, but the eggs could've used more seasoning. The "steak" is actually a short rib, which is in the description, but seems like the dish should be called something else. Either way, it was delicious and tender. My friend enjoyed her French toast. It was small though, and came with no sides. She was thankful she had ordered bacon. Ali, our server, was amazing. Very personable and attentive. I will definitely add this to my restaurant rotation!

    Whether it's Sunday brunch or an elegant dinner, Ampersea never disappoints! The servers are engaging and helpful, the food is inspired, the cocktails are crafted with care, and the wine list always has something interesting. On top of it all, the harbor view is widely acknowledged as the best location for al fresco dining.
