We sat outside and they had heat lamps over every table. It was still a little chilly - but was perfect to get to go out to eat again. Would definitely recommend!

Service was just a little lacking. Very chilly in the restaurant. Food was good but not as great as the 1st time I ate here.

It was disappointing to make a lunch reservation and then be presented the dinner menu. The hostess said they were the same but the pricing clearly was not.

It was the second time we dined in the Amylos. Everything was good- food, service and friendliness of staff. I believe it's the best Greek restaurant in Queens. Definitely recommend.

Tonight was the first night back with indoor dining so I made a reservation to have dinner and catch up with some friends. Everything was beyond our expectations. SO GOOD. The food was incredible (highlights were calamari app, seafood risotto entree, and lamb entree). Our server was the sweetest person ever. Overall this was a great experience. They were definitely taking COVID precautions (everyone was wearing a mask, temperature checks, etc.), but it was just nice to feel “normal” for a few hours.

Our waiter was so sweet and didn’t rush us out! The food was amazing and his recommendations were spot on. The outdoor seating was cute and comfortable! We will be back!

I recently enjoyed a lovely evening at Amylos. My friend and I sat in their cozy outdoor covered patio & they sat us right next to a heat lamp so we were very comfortable even on a chilly night. The service really stood out to me, we were very well taken care of. and the food was so good, very fresh and authentic tasting meal plus delicious cocktails. The staff provided hand sanitizer & the tables were appropriately spaced out within the patio. Overall we had a fabulous time and I would definitely go back!

I went to Amylos for business lunch. The experience was great: the outside seating was comfortable and warm, the server was very attentive and we had a truly Greek food experience. All the parties enjoyed the meal.

Had a really good night out with my boyfriend! We had a perfect and warm spot and the service was amazing! Even got some free shots which was incredible! Food was also A1, will definitely be coming back!

Food was excellent and in large portions. Service was attentive. perfect for a date and the heated outdoor dining setup was great.

We waited a while just to get some sparkling water. Then the waitress kept pushing alcohol on us when we don’t drink. The food was mediocre. The prawns were very chewy. Towards the end the busboy dropped the smelliest sauce all over my brother, my boyfriends new shoes and my pants! The waitress comes with the smallest shots when we don’t drink for the 7th time!! We asked for a manager that only gave us 15% off which wasn’t even double the tax. So my bf shoes are ruined and we left smelling like fish and onions. Horrible service, horrible food and horrible recovery!! Working in F&B for 18 years this was beyond a disappointment. Never ever again!

Went on a chilly Saturday (1/9/2021) for a birthday lunch; however, did not notice based on how well the outdoor dining space was heated. Great ambiance overall and only a three-block walk from the Broadway station on (N)/(W) train. Excellent portion sizes and definitely plan on going back.

I booked with Amylos based on the Eater article "where to eat in Queens with outdoor heated dining." Was super glad we made this choice. Their set-up is safe (socially distanced outdoor tables) with comfortable chairs and overhead heaters, plus the lean-to roof structure that shields you from the wind, but doesn't cut off air circulation. It wasn't a frigid night, but it was only 40 degrees, and we were comfortable.

But the set-up wasn't even the highlight - it was the service and the food that outdid themselves. The waiter never missed a beat, checking in on us, repeating our order two times to make sure that the details were correct, and steering us clear on items that contained gluten because one of our party has celiac. They had delicious hot sangria as a drink option too which was a nice touch. The food arrived hot and the quality was amazing - we'd eaten here before COVID and I think the food has actually improved. They offer a full menu as well (traditional Greek dishes as well as a large selection of grilled fish) which some restaurants are unable to manage at this point, but Amylos has it covered.

We had the full, leisurely dining experience which was capped off when our waiter came by with our check AND shots of Greek dessert wine - his treat - one for each of us and one for himself so that together we could toast the new year.

If you're looking to support local restaurants, look no further for an excellent place to spend your time and money. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing food!! Since it was outside, it was pretty cold, but we still enjoyed very much the evening and the food.

Pretty good food though a tad on my the expensive side. Heaters for cold is great but the last 1/3 of the outdoor space only has small ceiling heaters whereas the rest have ceiling and side heat.

They should put the heat lamps out earlier

Great service. My only complaint is that I ordered sourdough and they brought wheat bread instead. They did not have sourdough and didn’t tell me.

We had a great time catching up with friends and our kids while having brunch.
The waitress was absolutely patient when taking our orders since it was 9 of us including 3 11yr old boys.
The food was amazing and the place in general was very welcoming.
We’ll definitely come back soon.

The wait staff was quick, attentive, and helpful. Great experience overall.

The restaurant is pretty & most of the food was good.
The service however was HORRIBLE. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and one was wrong.
After another 15 minutes we flagged down a member of the waitstaff & she took our food orders.
A side dish we had ordered never came. When I asked for it, because I wanted to eat it with my entree, I was told it would be right there. Several minutes later it came, cold and undercooked.
We were never asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu or if we wanted another drink.
I saw people at several other tables that were also trying to get someone's attention so they could order.
I would not recommend this restaurant & will never go back. There are a lot of better Greek restaurants in Astoria.
