Christmas lunch
Dining in a beautiful old courtyard with jazz vocal standards playing quietly in the background. Wonderful ambience. Tables spaced well apart for privacy. Excellent service and food. An “amuse bouche” was served which is always a nice touch (and only seen in a few of the many fine dining restaurants in SMA.) Overall a delightful evening.
One of my worst restaurant experiences. Reservations made on basis of posted menu to find valentine day menu no price. Lamb chop or crusted salmon. After a long wait regular menu supplied. Even longer for request for wine list. One waiter for entire restaurant. Wife’s ahi tuna was overcooked slab of steak like in groceries instead of seared ahi on menu. My chicken breast was small dry and overcooked. Dessert menu request never arrived. Interminable wait for bill. In an upscale boutique hotel. Avoid Furthermore billed for wrong wine. Plenty of other options inSMA
They refused to honor my reservation and made me wait over an hour while buying over priced drinks and blaming Open Table as the reason for the error. Very displeased.
Beautiful ambiance. Excellent service. Pork belly was delicious.
Very good restaurant inside Sierra Nevada Hotel. Patio tables are very nice, the place is beautiful. Food is very good, not outstanding but very very good. Service also is very good. I recommend this place in San Miguel de Allende.

Maravilloso lugar
We went on Saturday night and the place was almost empty, which should have given us a clue. The menu is limited and appears to try to be upscale gourmet rather than Mexican origin. The only good dish was the mixed green salad which contained watermelon-it was light and refreshing. I had the pork belly for the main dish and was very disappointed eating only a small portion. My partner had the steak which he said was so tough he couldnot eat it. We would not go again.
