   Our server did a great job--very attentive and welcoming. I had the lamb shank--and will have it for at least two more meals. It was/is so good. The meat is very tender and the flavor of the sauce is incredible: a little spicy and containing mushrooms and onion. We shared olives and hummus, both very very good. My husband had his favorites--Greek salad and grape leaves. We finished with baklava for him and chocolate cake for me. We have been to Andys many times, and will surely return.

   Pretty much was the definition of "Meh," but with a substantial price. I'm so grateful to have outstanding Lebanese food close to home at Phoenician Taverna.

   I have known about Andy's for a long time and have always wanted to go there, but never took the opportunity. When that same old question came up, "What should we have for dinner?", Andy's somehow popped into my brain. The décor is "eclectic" and the crowd was reasonable for a Friday night. We made a reservation, but didn't really need it, but you get the Open Table points. The appetizer menu was plentiful and we went with the standby hummus. The hummus itself was creamy and delicious. The richness of a serving time pour of olive oil was a plus. The clear start is the homemade pita. This a bit thicker than the kind you get in the grocery store and even a bit thicker than what a gyros is usually served on and smaller. I don't like to fill up on bread served with meals, but this was delicious. I went with lamb kabobs and my wife shawarma. Her chicken was so flavorful and juicy and a big serving. I likewise loved spice on my lamb along with onion wedges. Both dishes were served with a rice which was not simply a "side dish", but a main and integral part of the plate as a whole. Being Asian, I fancy myself a rice connoisseur. My favorite is my native Filipino garlic rice, but I've always been a fan of Indian Basmati rice too. I need to add to my list Lebanese rice with vermicelli. We finished the meal with, you guessed it - baklava. This was not the best I have ever tasted, but was certainly not inferior baklava by any means and I'd eat it again. We really liked the restaurant and hope to add it to our rotation.

   Overall a good experience. The service was slower than we would have expected given the place was half full. The dancer was a nice touch but a tad loud for us. The value wasn’t great. Was a pricey evening for the meal for two with one glass of wine

   Was expecting a lot more with the great reviews. The Naan is heavy and sweet, not what you would expect. Ordered a Cabernet and it was very sweet, when I sent it back the waitress insisted it was a brand new bottle. I ordered the lamb shanks, the special sauce is bbq. We did get the sampler which was very good.

   First time there so we ordered the large sampler plate. It was perfect. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic. The naan was homemade and delicious. Wine was good and reasonably priced. It was a quiet Monday night and the service was exceptional. Great decor. We will definitely go back and try some of the entrees.

    You can always count on Andy’s to have consistently delicious Mediterranean food in a cozy atmosphere with friendly service. The bonus, as always, is their freshly baked, hot-out-of-the-oven pita. Portions are very generous.

    We used to like Andy's. When Andy owned it there was ambience. Now it is dated and unfriendly. House made pita is horrible. Food over priced. There are other better Mediterranean restaurants in the area, and they will get our business.

    The hummus and pita was amazing. Perfectly delicious. The shish kabob was excellent with a nice char on the vegetables and perfectly cooked beef. The chicken and mushroom dish had delicious flavor. However, the chicken was horribly overcooked. We talked to restaurant about it, they offered a replacement, we declined the offer and they sent us home with baklava and more fabulous pita. I very much appreciated their effort to make it right.

    Unfortunately, we were right in the middle of pandemic and leaving a review may not be the fair thing to do. I just believe that if you're going to be open then put your best foot forward which really didn't happen during our visit! We were one of three tables on Saturday night..     Ambience is lovely. It was comfortable with comfortable seating. There is outside seating available. After that it went downhill. The appetizers: fried (fried spinakopita??!?!??), not very good and VERY expensive. $10-$12 for five morsels I could have gotten from the freezer section. Main dishes: I had chicken-it was obviously cooked in advance and reheated because it was cold in the middle. I mean COLD, not just lukewarm. My husband had shish kabob. He ordered it medium rare. It was well done to almost burned. My son ordered lamb-his biggest love. It was so overloaded with sauce he lost the taste of the lamb. The sauce was not very good and very spicy, he says. He couldn't eat it--actually none of us ate our meals. We brought them home and threw them away. The hummus was "different." I couldn't taste the chick peas much, but I could taste the garlic unto the next day. I finally asked for pita-there was no bread offered to go with it. I love hummus-I couldn't eat it and brought it home also. The drinks were excellent and a good value. The waitress was nice and wonderful. However, she was the only one there, and running inside and outside. There were several people waiting for carry out also that I believe she was handling. The food was really expensive. We spent $144 (mind you, three drinks are on that bill). Lesson learned.
