Anna's Tattoria Italian Cuisine
The food was fantastic but the service was awful and yes, I know, covid blah blah blah but we made a reservation on opentable and they weren’t expecting us (to the point that they went in back to “verify” our reservation) and then the waiter took forever. He was cleaning tables instead of asking if we needed more to drink. I have a lot of patience but I will never visit this restaurant again.
Possibly one of the most underrated restaurants. Such a great menu and food options.
The best Italian restaurant in Daytona Beach!
Food was excellent and offered at a great value. Service was short due to staff call ins however Anna and Walter did an excellent job with service and keeping us informed about our meal. Evening was very pleasant with great food, and good and friendly service. Open Table confirmed our reservation, however, the restaurant never received it. Walter was very nice and accommodated us anyway even though their schedule was full.
Good food and service was good despite only two servers for the entire dining room. Nice wine pour and the bread was yum. Didn't get offered dessert just the check, probably due to them being very busy.
Food was great and cooked perfectly. Our waiter Joey did a great job making sure everything was perfect. Service was great. Will definitely go back.
As always the food and service and price was fantastic.
I would recommend Anna’s Trattoria to anyone.
This place is killer been going there for 25 years and never had a bad meal they are always on target.
The service was very slow. It took 1 1/2 hours to get our main courses. They were just chicken dishes - nothing exotic- and the restaurant was only half full. The food was good.
Never Again!!! This restaurant came under high recommendation from someone dear to me but I haven't a clue when she last ate here, due to covid she's not really left her house in over a year. Had reservations for 6:30, got there about 6:15 and was seated immediately. It wasn't very busy. Had to wait a bit for the waiter who took our soda order but didn't bother to get our food order even though our menus were closed and on the table. Got our soda and ordered. It took over 30 minutes just to get our salads. I had to ask the server to bring them when he refilled our sodas that had been empty for some time. These were supposed to be Caesar, they were Italian dressing. Waited another 20+ minutes for our food. When our food arrived it looked amazing but looks it also where it ended. We ordered the linguini with mussels and the linguini with calamari. Both were so incredibly salty we couldn't taste anything else. I let the server know the food wasn't good and we both pushed it to the side. He still charged us full price. We were in here 95 minutes and most of that was waiting. The server seemed very nervous and skittish which was rather off putting as well. Left and walked over to 7-Eleven just to get a couple of drinks to thoroughly rinse our mouths out. I even burped salt!! I couldn't seem to get his attention to get the bill so when I finally got him I just gave him the card and told him I just wanted to get out of there. While waiting on him I watched another table send their food back as well. We will not be returning.
Arrived for a 7:00 pm reservation. Served water water right away, then after 30 minutes, bread was brought to the table by a busboy. Finally after 45 minutes of waiting for a server to acknowledge our presence, we left. No one had approached us for a drink or dinner order. The restaurant was full...it appeared under staffed.
Survice was good but not excellent. Was a little slow in the beginning
Everything was excellent. They were short on waiters so it made for a little slower service. Our waiter, Joey did an excellent job. We will definitely be back.
The Caesar salad dressing was amazing! You could tell it was made fresh not from a bottle. Lasagna was delicious !
Food is not what I would consider Trattoria level. Was offered sorbet before prima Plata and was brought sherbert ice cream🤣
A wonderful meal in an old-school Italian place that exceeds any standards for the area of the state/country. Wide variety of menu offerings in a setting ideal for a date night, family outing, etc. Book ahead as this is a small, quaint restaurant that is typically booked up on weekend nights.
Joey G was outstanding.
We enjoyed both of our meals..the braciole and the gnocchi.
The service was friendly and personal.
It was closed
the location doesn't look like much from the street, but the food is delicious!! Service was good also. Would eat there again!
Some of the best Italian food I've ever had, including Italy!!! Service was terribly slow, but that was because Staff called in. Other than that, I was fabulous. If I lived in Daytona, it would be a 'regular,' for us.
Surprisingly good good. Could use some more wait staff
Overal very good w good value and food
Very understaffed - it took 30 minutes before anyone came to our table for a drink order. The food was good, not great and spending 3 hours for a lasagna & veal parmigiana meal with no dessert is a bit too long.
Took forever to get the food. We were there at "least" 4 hours. Not because we had nothing better to do. The food is not the same from years past. Orders got mixed up too, but we ate it anyway as we didn't want to spend another couple of hours there.
Terribly understaffed, only had one waiter and 1 bus person working the front house that night. Story was several people didn't show up. Food was good and they did the best they could, was just slow. I'd give them another chance.
Made a reservation for Anna’s on a recent trip to Daytona, my wife and I had high hopes, especially with all the positive reviews. We got up and walked out after 30 minutes of no service. I can’t even recall another instance of having to do this - when lack of acknowledgment logically led nowhere but leaving. It was very strange. The food at other tables looked great, neighboring tables were being attended to, it’s just nobody ever came to our table. A “we’ll be right with you” or a quick round of drinks can go a long way to appease first-time guests on a busy night. But what’s inexcusable is...nothing. Not even a hello after we were sat by the host. Like I said, very strange. Too bad. We were really disappointed, and went back to the hotel for what was I’m sure an average meal compared to what we thought was in store at Anna’s. And after all this, I would probably tell you to still go. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to you. But, unfortunately, the experience we had is obviously a possibility. We really wanted it to be good. We really, really did. But it wasn’t. It was the worst kind of bad.
Great food!!!! Great Service!!
Nice small cozy place. Delicious food. But it took a total of 2 hours for all dishes to come out. Make sure you are not in rush when you plan to dine in here!
Slow inattentive service. If a restaurant is unable to serve you dinner in no less than 2 hours they need to let you know that before you order.
Love the freshly prepared dishes. I had the shrimp and grouper piccata. It was exceptional.
This is the BEST Italian restaurant in Daytona/Ormond Beach area that we dined at. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good and reasonably priced for the portions served. We were not rushed through dinner, but able to enjoy each course. The wine selection could be a little bigger, but we chose the house wine which was very good. We would revisit in a heart beat.
This was an amazing meal and the service was great. I would highly recommend visiting them.
Wife's birthday dinner 2/12/21 This place is outstanding - the chef is a master artist and makes his own bread in house-- ask for Joey (his uncle is the chef) he is excellent server
had a bottle of Amarone-- good wine and great price- the chef's tomato sauce is perfectly balanced and a true taste of authentic Italian-- veal was excellent and Penne A La Vodka superb-- this was our second visit and I felt obligated to report this wonderful Restaurant as True Italian food-- Billy Coleman - Ormond Beach
We had a party of 8 and everyone loved the service and food. Our waiter was Joey who provided wonderful service. We wii be back next week! Highly recommended!
Everything is horrible about this place! Stay away! Disgusting!
Had a wonderful dinner and Joey our server was excellent
We highly recommend Annas
First time visit to this establishment. This is a hidden gem! From the moment we entered until the time we departed, it was a wonderful experience. We had Joey as our waiter, he was personable, honest and a man of integrity. His knowledge of the menu, and food preparation made for an enjoyable evening. Although we live three hours away, we will be returning to Anna’s!
Wonderful meal and almost like a hidden secret in town. Well worth a visit.
Our 2nd trip to Anna's. All COVID-19 protocols observed. Asked for Joey again and he did wait on us. Both of us had specials and were pleased. Will go again
