The place is great place to go, especially for groups. Soup came out warm instead of hot but was very tasty. The shepherds pie and chicken pot pie were good.
It was my fiancé’s and my 3rd anniversary of meeting at Annie Bailey’s. We have grown to love the food over the years and have made it a point to come back on our anniversary to re-create our first date.
The hostess Faith greeted us promptly and walked us to our preferred reserved small high top table by the fireplace. Our server Jillian got our beers and apps to us in no time. The cheesesteak egg rolls and mild boneless wings with a side of hot garlic were delicious as always.
There is no doubt we will be back again, not just on our anniversary.
We had a lovely dinner. Our waitress Amanda was excellent and checked with the kitchen on the food allergy questions we had. Very impressed by the entire experience.
Ordered vegetarian shepherds pie it was outstanding and enough for two people
Great service! Very good food.
The staff was very attentive and helped with all our requests. The food was great and was prepared and delivered to our table quickly. We were seated on the patio and the noise level was very low. We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others.
This was a lovely evening on the deck with friends. Our lamb and beef burgers were well prepared. Our server checked in with us, but seemed to be ending her shift, so we needed to ask for drink refills.
Great food and service. The part we didn’t like was that we got to restaurant early for our 8:30 reservation. It wasn’t ready so was told to wait and we will be texted when ready. As I see multiple couples coming in after us were seated. They apologized of course but couldn’t manage the reservations and had us waiting 20 minutes past our time and seated others before us.
Crowded. Saturday night. Reservation for 2 made then edited to 4 but didn’t get communicated to schedule. Hostess was very accommodating and managed to get us a table that fit 4 tightly.
Good food. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the meatloaf which was awesome. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.
We got a great table outside in the shade (which I had requested). We were seated by Kristen and greeted promptly by our server Lindsay. Our brunch Eggs Benedict (hers) and the Chicken & Waffles ( mine) were fresh & delicious. We will be back again!
I have been to Annie Baileys on numerous occasions. We were here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Unfortunately, our service was horrible. Had to ask numerous times for refills, waited 30 minutes to place our order, waited another 30 minutes after we finished eating for plates to be cleared. Then we asked to order dessert. Ordered 4 different desserts. 20 minutes later, dessert came out for 3 people, the fourth, we were told, was not available. So, as the rest of my party enjoyed their dessert, I had to wait another 20 minutes for my dessert. It would have been nice to know that before everyone else's was brought out. Then we waited again for the check. From the time we sat down to the time we left it was well over 2 hours. It was not busy (a LOT of open tables) and when we looked, there were other tables equally as upset about the lack of service. Although I will definitely come back again as I love the food and the ambiance, I will make sure to not have the same waiter.
I thought the food and service is great! I will recommend it to others
Way too loud, had to yell across the table.
First time. Great experience
Food was excellent and atmosphere was perfect. The person I was with and I were able to talk and not have to yell across the table to be heard.
Server wasn't particularly attentive. Not a huge menu, so I expected what they had to be very good. It was just mediocre. 2 of the orders came out wrong. And hot foods were barely warm. Not impressed with anything except the dessert.
Great dinner. Had the vegan Jumbalaya - amazing. Great new cocktail menu as well. Service attentive and solid.
Our server was pleasant and attentive. Food was delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it took a very long time for the food to be served after the order was taken.
Our server was awesome! She made great recommendations for the steak and the meatloaf! My lettuce wraps were okay-I needed something healthy!
Great service and setting.
Very disappointed with the service. Our waitress was very inattentive during our visit. She didn't find out if we wanted more drinks. Food was OK & the waitress failed to bus the table.
Hearty fare, happy place, could be highly addictive. Besides traditional Irish dishes the menu offers surprises like “Irish Tacos”
The place is huge yet it makes one feel at home.
Chicken pot pie was delicious. Even had a small salad on the side Guinness was fresh.
The restaurant was ok, nothing special. Very dark. We ordered meatloaf and hamburger but both were tasteless. Service was good. We will not try it again.
Was in Lancaster for a convention. Restaurant was very close to the Marriott convention center. Good food and nice informal atmosphere.
Great food and great atmosphere! Happy hour specials are priced right and you get a lot of food for your money. Live entertainment is a nice touch too!
It was not as good as I. Years past. The service and food have taken a decline. Ambiance is still good though.
We hadn't been there in awhile and we'd forgotten how good the food was, we're glad we returned!
The food was banging. All of our meals were served within 15 minutes of us ordering. I love this pub.
Good place. Good food. Good service. Parking in town sucks.
Hard to hold a conversation seated next to a very large party.
Annie Bailey's is one of my favorite downtown eateries. The service is always friendly and prompt and only exceeded in quality by the food. I have yet to have a bad experience here.
This was our first visit to Annie Bailey's. Our server was very helpful with suggesting local favorites. Atmosphere was cool. The pretzel appetizer was a perfect starter for our hungry kids. Portions were big... Chicken curry dish was really good as well as the fish and chips. Ribs were a bit overcooked but still had a nice flavor. Will definitely be back.
We were in Lancaster for a trip and I made a early Sunday reservation not knowing if I needed to or not. It was not busy but my party of four had apps and some beers and a nice early dinner.
The service was GREAT. the food was good but I was hoping that an Irish bar would have more Irish food, there was some but not much and what there was was Americanized.
Still it was good and we had a nice time.
Brunch Menu had a great selection and variety. Seating was quick for some reason that sunday at 1pm. I made a reservation the night before which was very simple and smooth. The food was great! The chicken waffles are slightly underwhelming but everything else was great. We wanted to order everything on the menu. I would definitely come back when I'm in town next time.
Love Annie Bailey's! We have been here for brunch several times now, and it is always outstanding. I got the french toast which was seriously the best I've ever had, and my husband always gets the Irish nachos which is consistently good. This was my first time getting the bloody mary bar, and they were not shy on addons!
Also, the server we had was awesome...we have had her a few times now and she always provides great friendly service. Wish I could remember her name!
Excellent dishes. Great flavor. Had Shepherd Pie and was a combo of lamb and beef. Very authentic.
The food was just ok. Nothing more or less. Our server was good. But the food and the off key singer that was performing kinda killed our birthday dinner.
