   空間がゆったりしていてお酒とお料理をゆっくり楽しめるお店。 他とは違うお料理の提供や盛り付けなども楽しく美味しく見て楽しい食べておいしい！沢山楽しめるし、また一つ一つのお料理が丁寧に作られていて感動です。

   予約時間に入店しましたが、テーブルが埋まるまで待たされ開始時間が30分遅れました。開始してからも料理の提供時間が大変遅く時間が無くなり途中で退店しました。また提供された蒸し牡蠣の影響か後日2人とも体調不良になりました。次回からは利用は絶対にしないです。

   とても美味しいお食事でした！ 旬の食材を使ったお料理はどれも吟味された方法で調理されていています。 トロっとした薩摩和牛、季節感を感じるお椀の美味しさ、シンプルな野菜料理の白味噌のソースは何にでも付けて食べたい。 サクっとしたスモーブローの中にはしっとりとした具材が入っていてなんとも言えない食感です。 季節のプレートには目にも鮮やかな品々が並んでいます。 富永シェフは本当に厳選された旬の食材ばかりを使っていて、 店は豪華さはないながらも、雰囲気のある落ち着いた空間でくつろぎました。 早速、パートナーとの記念日ディナーを予約させていただきました。次回も、どんなお料理が出てくるのか、今からワクワクしています♪

   日本料理を洋風にアレンジした独創的で、センセーショナルな料理はとても美味しく、素材もいいものを使っている印象を受けました。料理の手が込んでいるのでお値段が高くなるのは理解できますが、店の雰囲気がカジュアルなバーの造りなのと、シェフ1人でやっているのを考えるともう少し安くてもいい気がします。

   Had a very nice meal at AnotherC in Kyoto. Chef Dan was busy cooking for 9 guests (3 parties) the evening we were there. He accommodated 2 guests with dietary restrictions with grace and everyone had a good time. The dishes of the Kaiseki meal were tasty, nicely presented, and creative.

    This was an amazing experience. It was very romantic and the food was unreal. The chef was very knowledgeable and answered any question we had on the food and Japanese culture. I would recommend Another C to anyone traveling that is looking for top-tier food!

    We had a wonderful time at Another C. Only about 9 people in the restaurant. We sat around the counter and all got to know each other along with the chef, who spoke both English and Japanese. We watched the chef cook a great variety of dishes which were a sort of Japanese fusion; everything was delicious.

    Great ambience in this classic counter-service, small Japanese restaurant. Omakase course was outstanding. Ask the Tenchou the meaning behind the restaurant name. It’s quite deep!

    Great little restaurant in Kyoto. Seating for about 8-10 people but you get personalized service from the chef himself. Had about 7-8 courses over two hours or so. Each course was fantastic and left very satisfied. Would definitely return!

    Another C is the perfect restaurant. Owner/chef Dan is the perfect host. From the background Elvis music to the outstanding food made for a perfect evening. I wish his restaurant was in Seattle instead of Kyoto!

    We had an awesome experience with Chef Dan at Another C- as others mentioned it is a wonderful, modern day version of the Kaiseki without feeling westernized. The food was amazing and innovative, the atmosphere warm and the conversation with Dan while he was working great - all suitable for the background story of why the restaurant is named Another C (you'll have to ask him when you dine there). In a city filled with some great places to eat, this is definitely worth the stop.

    We had traditional kaiseki the night before. Very lovely experience... However, Chef Dan Tominaga turned Kaiseki into a Micheline star experience. All of the dishes reflected traditional Kaiseki while reminding the diner of some other memorable food. The sirloin salad appetizer reminds you of a Prime Rib tasting. The Fried tofu dish reminds one of a French onion soup... It's not cheesy slight of hand, it is elegant and masterful use of flavor and textures!!! An absolute must if visiting Kyoto!!!

    Excellent meal! We loved every course. Wonderful dining experience, and we really enjoyed getting to chat with the chef while he was preparing the food. It was a great date night experience. We highly recommend, and we look forward to returning the next time we are in Kyoto.

    Recommended by a friend. The first three courses were excellent then it all started to feel a bit lazy, which was a real shame. Quite pricey for the overall experience, and I’m sure it could be made better without much more effort from chef.

    Although the food was creative, innovative and delicious, it felt as if we were not expected and there was little attention given to us as customers. It felt like we were eating in someone’s kitchen, not the intimate experience other reviews led us to believe we would be having. It felt like we were intruding on Chef Dan’s time. We were greeted not by name or with a warm hello, rather we were told he was running late due to a party which had just finished. The other couple plus newborn were the only other customers. We were not given a choice of dinner or chef’s dinner, nor were our questions about the food and preparation warmly received. Over the course of two plus hours, we tried to engage in conversation, with little success. This was the most expensive dinner we had in our two weeks in Japan, and not the highlight we had hoped.

    Visited this restaurant during a vacation from the US with my wife. It’s a very intimate dining experience as you engage with the chef as he prepares each of your courses. It was a very memorable and positive experience; I’d recommend this place to any visitor looking for a nice and approachable dinner out. Costs about $250 USD total for 2 (including drinks).     One of the best meals I have ever experienced. We treated ourselves to this special meal on our last day of travel in Japan. We were served course after course of melt in your mouth fish and meat, carefully prepared with amazing flavors and sauces. The chef was engaging and fun. Overall, a must do experience!

    The food was amazing, cooked to perfection and very tasty. The wild unagi was exceptional. Another must have is the red snapper risotto. We loved the sauces too - reduction of red wine and seaweed or reduction of red wine and ponzu. very elegant strawberries cooked in champagne with delicious cheesecake. We highly recommend the place for a delicious kaiseki fusion meal. Perfect English is spoken.

    Truly an incredible experience and fairly priced. The Chef is amazing. Cooks great food and is very fun. Only 8 seats which is great as it makes it intimate and everyone gets talking. My favourite meal in Japan. Amazing!
