Anthony's at Cap Sante Marina
There seems to be no stability of serving staff at this restaurant and we have found on this and previous occasions that the staff lack experience. The menu is becoming monotonous and the prices are creeping up to Seattle levels. The quality and value have deteriorated from when it first opened in Anacortes and the only thing in its favor is the location and lack of competition.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday on 5th. We had an excellent table at the window, at the end where it was quieter. My husband has a hearing problem, and the staff went out of their way to seat us at a suitable location. Thanks! We really enjoy Anthony’s... and come over from Whidbey to celebrate special occasions there.
Prior experience was positive, but this dinner in the off season was exceptional! We enjoyed fresh Dungeness crab, expertly cooked swordfish, and an unusual lemon fettuccini that needs to become a permanent addition to the menu. Service was friendly, responsive, and professional. Keep up the good work.
The sunset dinner menu is great and obviously very popular. There is a good choice of four course menu items with appetizers and other extras. The food was delicious and the service was just right, attentive and quick but not asking how we were doing too often. We will be going back!
Always great food and service at the Anacortes Anthony's. Would recommend to anyone to try Anthony's if you haven't already done so.
The food was amazing at a great price! Very nice ambiance. We will definitely be back.
Always a treat!
Asked for a table by a window when I made the reservation. We were seated in a booth in the middle of the restaurant even though there were 5 empty tables next to a window. The portions for your meal were extremely small. I had three pieces of sliced zucchini and a single green bean for my vegetables. My steak couldn't have been more than 4 ounces and came with a small baked potato, all for $25. A little disappointed.
Very delicious, wonderful waitstaff, the employees care. It would be nice if they could install some sound buffering panels to absorb some of the noise. At least you know people are having a good time and chatting!
We use Anthony's for all ordinary and special occasions - and, the Cabana too. You're our go-to place. Only problem is that because you have no sound absorbing fabrics, people with hearing aids can't hear conversations. So, our older relatives don't love you as much as the younger do.
Service initially quite slow but got better. Food quite decent (lobster) if a bit tasteless. Pricey as well. $190 for three with a cheap bottle of wine.
Dined on Halloween evening. Glad I had reservations. People sitting and standing everywhere waiting to be seated. A very popular place. Staff was excellent...never felt rushed even though the staff knew how many people without reservations were waiting. Had the four course sunset dinner and was excellent. We had a coupon for Halloween dining and, yes, it could be used also on the sunset dinner.
Hostess did not record our meal in open table so it was initially labeled a missed reservation. That was easily corrected. The food at lunch was very good. The view of the harbor is entertaining. After our meals were brought the level of attention from our server dropped out significantly and it was an effort to get the check. We could see service staff chatting and it was a long time before anyone thought to look our direction. This was off season and a late lunch so maybe the experience is different at other times. The quality of the seafood was good so we might go back if we are ever in that area again.
Perfect mid-week date night for us, food was amazing, views were perfect and the staff was absolutely perfect.
Where at as always! Chowder is outstanding and prawns were excellent!
Great food, stunning building, service to match. They put us in the quieter end , so we were able to talk and hear, a great improvement over many.
As a seasoned, veteran server, what irritates me most about places now is how long it takes for the wait staff to remove spent dishes from my table and drop the bill. Our dirty plates, All 7 of ours, sat at the table for a good 15 mins before the server returned to start clearing them off. 3 people at our table used the restroom in the meantime. He was never spotted at any tables. I don’t know what he was doing for all that time. I never seem to have any downtime when I work. I almost asked the manager to take of the dirty dishes. Another few minutes in between rounds and then asked about coffee and desserts. Returned another 5 mins later with the check. Please pre bus your tables. Bread plates and baskets on the table when there is no longer any bread left and lunch is over is tacky.
Great food and atmosphere!!
Great food, fast service and great ambiance.
Miranda, our wait staff was wonderful, very attentive and professional. The food was as always fresh, tasty and perfect! My only complaint is the noise level was louder than in the past which made speaking to your table difficult to hear.
Our table was ready before our actual reservation time. The seating was great. The server was very professional and explained the menu well. We will be back!
Very good food with a great view.
Service impeccable and food was very good and served beautiful.
We had a house guest that we brought for lunch. She had the Mac ‘n cheese and was able to get it gluten free so she was thrilled. She cleaned her bowl...nothing left.
Great all around experience.
Have been there a lot, more than 6 or 7 times . It has been an enjoyable experience each time. Service, food, have really been outstanding.
A little disappointing since we were taking friends to dinner. Special northwest salad was terrible...limited ingredients. Very little blue cheese, hazelnuts. And the Romaine tasted like it was left over from Caesar salads.
Ordered the large fish and chips and the pieces of fish were extremely small. Fries were good. Ginger slaw was terrible...no dressing and tasted like it had been around too long. Aren’t you sorry you asked????
Great setting and great food. Get there early for special sunset dinner.
My husband and I both enjoyed our brunch, I had the San Juan Scramble and my husband, the Seafood Omelette. And the peach slump was heavenly as usual. Probably our favorite dessert.
My sister ordered the tomato soup and she said it was the best soup she had ever had. My mother had salmon and was impressed at how large the piece was and how perfectly cooked it was. I had the shrimp fettuccine. I probably better not say what initially popped into my head, there were moans of taste bud pleasure involved. The bread was hot when it came to the table, a big plus in my eyes. We will definitely be back.
Food and drink were very good!
Love the SalmonBowl and Cod with dill. Both delicious.
Although service and our server was good, the food came very slowly.
Miranda was our waitress and she had a number of tables to take care of
but she did a good job of taking our order, wine service and checking
on us on multiple occasions. Food was excellent.
The server looked tired and overwhelmed. The food was great and the front desk girl was really awesome!
The food was good although my shrimp Cobb salad was seriously lacking in shrimp. So the value was not there. I always order that salad and was disappointed. But overall good.
Love the Salmon bowl. I have it every time I visit Anthony’s. First time coming to the one in Anacortes and same wonderful, delicious food as Bellingham.
Too noisy inside, understaffed. We would have preferred to eat outside much quieter
Great place to eat in Annacortes
