Always enjoy it here. They do a great happy hour and dinner was also really good. Love the fried oysters. Staff is very friendly and accommodated us with our seating request.
Our favourite restaurant when we are in this area. We always feel so welcome. Service is awesome and the food is delicious as is the presentation. Definitely a great dining experience.
Anthony's is my family's go-to place for fancy occasions, and going when the Xmas decorations are out is an added bonus.
Anthony's in western Washington Never disappoint! The food, the views, the ambiance, the servers. Always the best!
Really nice and relaxed atmosphere and great service.
Wonderful clam chowder and great sourdough bread.
Too noisy for easy conversation - otherwise outstanding service and food.
Refreshing,
Loved the lobster special...a nice place to spend time with a friend who is going south for the winter!!!
The November special, Steak and Lobster, was fabulous!!! Everything was cooked perfectly, will definitely try to go back again before it's gone!! And the best Caramel Appletini ever! Service was top notch, don't change a thing! (I've also had their Sunday Brunch....amazing!)
The service was insane. Host couldn't be sweeter. The server and manager were so rude. It was BANANAS. They comped our meal which was kind ... but it was done in a really aggressive way. I'm not sure if it was because my friend is a women of color or maybe they just hated us. Would never ever go back.
We were visiting from Dallas, Texas, and decided to go to Anthony’s for dinner before a concert. We lucked into their 4 course dinner deal because we arrived at 4. The view was beautiful (we were able to sit alongside the windows facing the marina), the service was personal (thank you, Zack!) and the food was superb! We couldn’t get over how tasty everything was, and how artfully presented. I assume it would be more crowded the later the dinner seating. Be sure to try Anthony’s: you will not be disappointed!
We have been going to Anthony's for many years starting with their various restaurants when we lived in Seattle. This was a birthday for one of us, so we decided to have the 4-course Sunset Dinner on a Wednesday at 5:30. Everything was great. I had the Cajun blackened rockfish and my wife had the salmon-shrimp duet. Got to see a beautiful sunset was well. The room is open, so it is not super quiet, but is very manageable and no complaints at all. We will return. We have gone about once a year since we moved to Bellingham, but this was the first time we went early enough to have the Sunset Dinner.
Great atmosphere and a beautiful view make this a great dinner spot. We enjoyed the early dinner and were happy with our choices of appetizers, the salad was fresh and crisp, and our rockfish entree was perfect with rice and snow peas. And even dessert was included all for a reasonable price. I’d like to see a few more choices on the wine list but we did manage to find a bottle we enjoyed.
They did a good job of accommodating my wife’s food sensitivities
I will only recommend for the food. We ordered rocket fish which was amazing. The Dungeness crab fettuccine was definitely overpriced and we only had a few bites of it. Regarding the service, we planned to go there to celebrate my birthday. We specified in the comments section that we were there celebrate birthday. Yet, when we arrived there, nothing was mentioned about birthday. Not sure whether they do celebrate birthdays? The overall service was okay.. not fantastic.. so for the overall experience for the price we paid, it's 1-star.
Excellent food and service, and we were particularly impressed with the lady who manages the restaurant - she is friendly and helpful to staff and diners, and takes time to greet every diner and ask how their meal is.
IT WAS MY SONS BIRTHDAY AND AT THE LAST MINUTE WE WERE ABLE TO TAKE HIM OUT TO DINNER. IT WAS LIKE WE HAD PLANNED IT FOR AWHILE. THANK YOU , IT WAS GREAT.
Food was great.
A nice brunch. They serve a large platter of fresh fruit along with delicious warm coffee cake. And that's just the starter. The fish is very good along with a lovely view of boats in the harbor. The service...way above standard brunch service. Very reasonably priced.
We had a wonderful wild salmon dinner. Yum. Our server was professional and welcoming.
The view over the marina was beautiful.
It was however very noisy. We had difficulty hearing each other.
We were seated promptly. Our dinners were excellent. I love there silver salmon with the burre blanc red pepper sauce!
I often travel into Bellingham just to go to Anthony's for dinner. It has always been a good experience. I didn't know that you were offering a Surf and Turf on Sundays, but it is well worth the trip. Delicious food and my steak was cooked perfectly. I emailed my sister and recommended that she check it out. I'll be back for sure.
Great service and the shrimp and crab salad with the basil vinaigrette was amazing.
I appreciated having my water glass continually refilled.
Our waiter put a damper on the experience. It upset him when we asked for straws. We wanted boxes for our leftovers and he didn't provide that. He was busy and that came out through his tone of voice and service of our table. It was unpleasant and felt rude at times. It was disappointing because we normally have a great service experience at Anthony's and we were there celebrating a birthday.
We booked because we have had very good experiences in the past at a number of Anthony’s, however this one did not live up to expectations. First off we waited for a server for more than 5 minutes to take our drink order then well over another 5 or more minutes to even get the drinks. Never once over the next hour and a half we’re we asked if we would like another drink. We went to reset the appetizer and told it was all gone. Ordered 2 different appetizers, came with no problem. We ordered dinner and server came back to say that there was only one serving left of one of the dinners we ordered so I changed my order. Dinner came but one of the orders was wrong took a good 5 minutes to get anyone to come over finally manager came, told him the problem and issue with ordering that evening, he did comp two entrees but overall the service by the server after was poor, asked if we wanted dessert but with all the issues already and poor service why would we stay. Not likely we’ll be back to this Anthony’s. Wished we had tried The Anthony’s Hearthfire.
Would not let me submit 0 stars. Booked a 6:45 reservation (for 2) but arrived 1 hr 15 min early (moving my son into college and got done early). Sat for 1hr 15min in the waiting area and only asked the hostess for an update after 1 hour. Got a snotty response. As I am waiting the hostess and manager have a "can u believe this guy!?!" Conversation about me and my son within earshot of us. While seating us, the manager asks "How are you doing?" And I respond "Frustrated." He then begins to act overly sympathetic and asks me "What time was your reservation?" despite having just been given all the details during his snide chat with the hostess... I called him out as insulting and left. They had sooo many opportunities to help us out...instead they turned it into a negative experience.
We had a birthday celebration and the dinner was great.
The drinks we were served were terrible, away too sweet. My husband shrimp appetizer was bloody awful, small white coloured shrimp all stuck together ( apparently they are frozen shrimp from a Mexico) ( very cheap shrimp and not very tasty).. the manager did take off the drinks and upgraded the desert which was very nice. Still left us disappointed.. also there really was no view of the harbour, just boats.. was hard to see the water..
Nice restaurant, well appointed, clean, food was very good, service good.
Big complaint, temperature of restaurant was COLD. asked twice to have AC turned up, table next door overheard and expressed the same concern as well as the another table.
Excuse! We are not allowed to change the temperature.
We were going to have an after lunch drink, but decided to leave instead.
Server told us the get this complaint every day, but can't do anything about it.
Next time we will find a warm restaurant, that cares about their customers.
They always have amazing service and delicious food.
Fast service, beautiful view, great food!
Service was outstanding starting with a warm welcome, a nice table and a terrific waitperson. This is a huge restaurant with an ongoing noise level so not intended as a romantic night out- would be great for groups and families. My husband’s salmon medallion entree was not to his liking, and they replaced it with no issues. The poke appetizer was excellent, salad and halibut entrees very good. We would dine here again.
Fantastic as always ! Great waiter , a pleasure .Robert Stevenson Abbotsford BC ph 604-8574722 .
The BLT and the Kalib Bowl were amazing! The flavor and freshness of ingredients was great!
Had to wait 20 minutes and might still be waiting if I had not questioned the delay. Why take reservation if there is no table available. The service was indifferent but the food was good and the view was great. Have been to the restaurant a number of times but not for a number of years hoped it would be better but similar issues remain.
Seems like a later reservation would be better as the place clears out by 7:30 and probably would get more attention
Nice dinner with friends with a lovely view
We had a simply wonderful dinner celebrating our daughters graduation at Anthony’s!!!
Each time we do RSVP (Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party) we stay overnight in Bellingham, WA. We make it a point to eat at Anthony's. A nice fish dinner prepares us for the next day ride to Vancouver. Totally enjoy everything about Anthony's. Also, enjoy the walk outside viewing the sunset and all the yachts and sail boats.
