Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza - Cranberry
Everything was perfect. Service, food etc.
Very good. Service and food were good
Pizza is always good.
We made a 6:45 reservation for 4 people. Arrived at 6:35 and it was very crowded. The "hostess" informed us that when it gets that busy, they don't pay attention to open table reservations, it is "first come, first serve" ! Then why have Open Table reservations available ??
Don't bother using open table app because the management doesn't have the parameters set accurately and they always show an open table even if they don't have one. The layout of this restaurant was one large open room and it was very noisy. Not very suitable for a date night, but good place to bring the baseball team after a game!
Don't make reservations on open table. I told the hostess I had reservations on open table and she said they don't use open table reservations. Food is fine, expensive for what you get (especially the salad)
Wing , pizza and 2 beers.
Wings Italian hot, are extremely hot and no very meaty for 13$ for 10 wing dings not a good deal.
Pep Pizza traditional was good, not great, but good.
beers were ok, server spilled 1/8th of the first one.
Service was mediocre, I guess that's what you get 2 days prior to xmas. I would normally would not mention the level of service we received, but with only a few tables seated, you would expect more attention. We will most likely not return. Not the greatest for kids considering there is no booths, and the tables are sticky.
Good pizza. Expensive drinks.
We had a new salad (for us) arugula and bursts - love this cheese! The dressing was so light. Got Pauli’s pie tonight too, first time. Loved it! Can’t wait to order it again!
Always excellent food at Anthony's. We enjoyed the small italian salad, plus the meatball and ricotta pizza. Everything was excellent and there was a lot to take home!
this was a very nice coal fired pizza experience pleasant flavor of sauce and topping. management's commitment to food quality also impressed a positive experience upon us ( they offered a complementary replacement menu selection when the kitchen was not happy with product quality ). crafted bar drinks were flavorful.
The food was ok but the place was not clean. The table was sticky and felt like it had not been wiped down all day. The floor also looked like it had not been swept for at least that day.
The main reason I a giving a 5 star rating is the service. My wife and I stopped in about 7pm on a Saturday evening for dinner. It was prom night for several schools, the restaurant was short staffed and they even had staff call off. We were so impressed by the work ethic of the staff that was there - only 2 or 3 servers for the restaurant. The all hustled, the greeter was back and forth helping get drinks, bring out clean plates, etc. They ended up not charging for drinks or salad because they felt bad it took longer than their standard to serve food. While we told them this was not necessary, they said it was not up to their standard and they did not want any customer to leave that evening feeling they were not treated well. The manager came by a few times to check in on tables and communicated updates. We truly appreciated the open communication! That being said, our meatballs, salad and pizza were all perfect. Great job Anthony's!
Tried the new chicken salad tonight, excellent!
Also had the five wings coal fired and five of the rub wings, both outstanding.
PLEASE keep the rub on your menu along with the celery, red peppers, and delicious blue cheese dip.
Great Wings, pizza, spaghetti, meatballs, salads, etc.
Fast seating, very good service, food was great.
Wings were too well done. Pizzas were very burnt on bottom and edges . Sausage was barely visible as an add on to a pizza. Service was good. Price was on the high side. Would not recommend to anyone. Will not be back.
Waitress friendly checked on us often. Food outstanding had to wait awhile for pizza but best I’ve had. Overall they run a great business
Place needs upgraded. Front right just seemed like a bunch of unused tables stacked together. Back right just odd use of space. Not the most inviting layout. Pizza is expensive vs other local places with much better atmosphere. Waiter was great.
Food was great as alway service was ok. But they were out of a few items. Pizza topping and drinks
Made reservations for 5:15, seated at 5:15 on very busy night (all seats in use).
Waiter came right away for drinks, and wing appetizer (PLEASE Bring back the dry rub which seems to be no longer available).
Out of Pasta Fagioli Soup on a Saturday afternoon(Shouldn’t be), suggest adding a Soup of the day as well.
Waiter shortly brought appetizer and took main course order in our case pizza with sausage, extra cheese, extra sauce on side,
Timing between order and serving perfect.
Waitress on the ball and very nice young lady.
All food very good at reasonable price.
❤️ Anthonys - tried the Paule pizza this time and loved it.
Annie, thank you very much for your feedback. I hope to see you again soon! :)
We waited over 45 minutes for our pizza.
It was not very busy, there were at least 6 servers and 4 tables, but our server was not very attentive. I had my 3 year old grandson, she didn’t offer a booster seat and when I requested a cup with a lid, it seemed like she was a bit put out. Service is a big deal and it seemed like it was too much to ask.
We ordered the small fresh mozzarella-tomato salad with sweet peppers. It was fabulous. The tomato tasted like a real tomato and that is hard to come by in December in Pittsburgh. We also ordered the meatball ricotta pizza (our favorite). Ate 2/3 if it and brought the remaining home. 💕💕💕
My boys were home from college and wanted a good pizza, so...Anthony’s pizza is always great, however, this particular day, the waitress totally sucked! We asked for water, one cup, then asked again, then a second cup until our 4th request! Then same for napkins, and same for utensils...the poor busboy had more sense than our dimwit waitress and ended up providing plates, napkins, etc! I was so annoyed and wanted to enjoy the time that I had with my family. Hope it was a one time only experience (hopefully this lazy waitress found some other establishment in which to lack off and totally ignore patrons and why she even showed up, ugh).
Reservation for 7:15, seated at 7:15. Immediate server taking drink orders, served within five minutes.
Ordered the wings “great” for appetizer, very reasonable wait, wings outstanding, no deep fried grease here!
Ordered meatballs, salads, and pizza for main meal. Again very reasonable wait time, all food well prepared and very good.
Server stopped by several time for refills and plate clearing.
Restaurant was near full on this Friday evening.
Will return for outstanding service and food at a reasonable price.
Waitress was horrible. Took forever to get drinks and for food to come out.
Family size salad was as great as ever! Our pizzas came quickly and everyone was happy with their meal.
