Loved everything until the main coarse came out. Both of our meals were Luke warm if not cold. We ate most of it anyway and didn’t say anything to the waiter, so it’s not like he had the chance to correct it, but it left thinking twice about going back.

Our 1st visit. Food was amazing. Service was disappointing. After being seated, we sat for well over 10 minutes before anyone even saw us. We had looked at the menu and were fully ready to order and still no one. After appetizers, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to clear plates. Same thing after dinner. I had to get someone's attenction to ask for a dessert menu and to order another drink. We all loved the food, but have to say service was very disappointing.

Margherita, the owner was amazing. Staff was friendly and it was a nice, slow-paced Italian meal. We ordered the Filet Mingon sliced for the table. It was cooked medium well (still good but slightly more than what was ordered which was medium rare) The waiter noticed it, and the cooked a second Filet and done perfectly and provided it to the table along with the first. Top Notch.

Quaint place in an unexpected location. Very well arranged and decorated inside to an old-style Italian atmosphere. My second time at this location, this time with a small, intimate group birthday celebration. The signature cheese-wheel pasta is a must try and won’t disappoint. Prepared table side, this entree or appetizer will be what you’ll remember. My side chicken add-on fell far short of the pasta. I refused it and sent it back, dry, over cooked and certainly below expectation. I mean, how hard is it to grill some chicken. Service by our young waiter lad was courageous and lacked no effort, but did lack an Italian flavor I experienced my first time here. Overall, we had a wonderful time but walked away with less than expectation. The first time a few months ago was a better experience. That said, I do recommend this fine establishment.

We have wanted to eat here for a while now, but never quite got around to it! The positive reviews I have read elsewhere were all accurate - great food, fun place to eat, and the service was very good but never intrusive. I gave an average "value" rating not as a refection on the pricing, per se, but as an indication that this is probably a bit beyond most people's budget unless it's a special occasion. It was for us, and we were happy to pay, but the price is the only reason this wouldn't be a regular haunt for us. I would suggest looking over the menu before you go - that way, you can be aware of the likely budget for your group. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and would definitely recommend!

Absolutely the very best food and service we’ve experienced in Utah! I requested we be served by CLAUDIO based on many positive reviews I read highlighting his outstanding service. Claudio truly is amazing! So knowledgeable, kind, hilarious sense of humor; Claudio treats you like it’s his genuine honor to serve you. After Claudio told us about the menu, the owner, GUISEPPE, came to our table and made us feel so welcome with his genuine warmth and commitment to ensure a wonderful evening. Then Claudio brought the beautiful Sicilian chef, GESSICA to our table. After speaking with us, Gessica, in the moment created our menu for dinner! We started with prosciutto wrapped melon (so good!) then shared the Signature Carbonara (incredibly delicious!) which Claudio finished tableside in a flaming aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese wheel. Gessica then created wonderful Prime Ribeye Bistecca with amazing topping for my friend, and the most delicious, perfectly prepared filet mignon I’ve ever eaten, Gessica’s Filet Mignon al Funghi. Gessica culminated our remarkable dinner by creating a special birthday dessert. Owner GUISEPPE leads an amazing team at Antica Sicilia: CLAUDIO is beyond words extraordinary, the very best server we’ve ever had, anywhere; GESSICA is a brilliant, joyful chef who creates wonderful food to share her love of fine food. To cap off the awesome food and service, Claudio led staff in singing a spirited Happy Birthday song in Italian. We stayed ‘til closing time and hated to leave, because the genuine warmth, personal care and service made us feel part of the amazing family at Antica Sicilia. We can’t wait to see Claudio, Gessica, Margherita, Guiseppe and his team again, soon! The Carbonara is a heavenly dish. It's the reason I go! You must try it. This last time we went our server seemed off and a little rude. Didn't create our dish at our table as they usually do with that meal. We felt like an after thought for the server. Could have just been an off night. Everything else is amazing there!

Antica Sicilia is my favorite place to enjoy Italian food. The food was excellent as well as the service. Each time I enjoy a good meal at Antica Sicilia or Sicilia Mia, it reminds me of the Italian meals I have enjoyed in Sicily and Italy. No other Italian restaurant in Salt Lake City surpasses the excellent meals at all Mirenda family's restaurants.

Enjoyed everything about the visit. The warm table bread was delicious, pasta entrees were authentic Italian, and the customer service was formal, but warm and friendly! Hard to find good Italian food in SLC, so it’s worth the higher cost. Had the gnocchi and ragu, excellent!

Dinner was divine! I was disappointed that they did not have the Octopus, supply chain issues?? But the Calamari/Shrimp was a great replacement. A wonderful date night/birthday dinner. We'll be back soon!
