Antoine's surpassed my expectations. I had previously been here for an engagement party, but the dining experience was very different. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will absolutely be back again.
Delicious food, service, and New Orleans history all in one! We had an amazing Sunday brunch.
Fabulous experience! On point
Our party of six had a great dinner at Antoines. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. The chargrilled oysters were fantastic and the Baked Alaska was very good but the portion size is enormous. One order easily serves a few people. Service was outstanding.
Food and service is absolutely amazing! This should be a go-to for everyone visiting New Orleans!
The food was bland and tasted like it was made in bulk. For a $200 meal, the quality was terrible. My fish was alright, but it had no seasoning. It was also served with overcooked green beans, which are the laziest vegetable you can serve. My partner’s steak was also bland and a poor quality cut of meat - it was stringy. The oysters Rockefeller were gritty and covered in a sauce that tasted a week old. We were extremely disappointed, as this has been a NOLA institution we’ve always wanted to try. Definitely will not be back.
My daughter and I went here to celebrate a girls’ weekend out. Our servers worked extra hard at making sure we had a good experience! Wonderful food, great ambiance and superb service. Thanks Antoine’s
Very good food. Great service from Paul‼️😃
Nice ambiance. Great oysters and bread pudding❗️
Food was sub par. The place is filled with a cast of characters. After dinner the waiter (tenure 45 yrs) said we could explore the 9 other dining rooms. It’s like a museum, very interesting. Biggest tunnel like wine cellar ever. All that being said. I wouldn’t go back.
Waiter was FANTASTIC!! I received a bad piece of meat. I ordered the filet mignon rare as I have all my life and when I cut into the meat there was a horrible smell coming from it. The meat was bad. I don't see how it even made it to my table without the kitchen not smelling it. Absolutely horrible. We will never be back there. For the amount of money you pay for there food this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
My wife had the fish and it was dry and tasteless. I had the steak and it was very good. They removed the fish from our bill. Our waiter was very nice and worked hard to please us. I believe with the lack of workers it is a struggle for all the restaurants in New Orleans.
Great birthday dinner! Ray was awesome as our waiter. Pompano was fabulous as always
Overall, the food made up for the mishaps in the service. We had reservations and went to the bar about 20 minutes before our reservation time. The bartender mentioned they would check us in but never did so we ended up checking in with the front desk about 20 minutes after, being told by the bartender it was okay. We then waited another 30 minutes for a table. Once seated we were told the kitchen would close soon so we were rushed to order. A solid 4/5 overall. I would definitely recommend but also recommend checking in yourself and not relying on the bar staff.
It is always a beautiful evening at Antoine’s - ambiance, service, dinner wonderful - thank you. A. Ambort
Antoine’s was such a wonderful experience. Our family of 4 (including 2 children) had a great time at dinner. The restaurant was beautiful, the atmosphere was upscale without being stuffy, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Our waiter, Ronnie, made our experience extra special. He provided top-notch service and gave excellent recommendations. The charbroiled oysters are a must! We will be back!
Lovely dinner, great wine pairings, beautiful ambiance, excellent service!
It EXCEEDED our expectations. Our server, Ronnie, was awesome. Bottomless sparkling wine is a great thing, as were those oysters and shrimp n grits. The BEST!!!!
Our server, Ray, was incredible. The food was great, but he truly made the experience. Thank you Ray & the rest of the staff at Antoine’s, we will see y’all again soon!
My daughter’s birthday brunch. We had a wonderful time. Craig, our waiter, made sure our celebration was extra special. He made sure to focus on the birthday girl throughout our visit. Food and cocktails were fabulous. Birthday girl really enjoyed her meal. ( And so did we) She chose the Fall brunch special. A huge thank you to Craig for going out of his way to provide a couple of extra fall brunch desserts for my parents to share. And for letting us keep a menu as a momento of the birthday girl’s special day. Thank y’all for making our girl’s day. We’ll be back.
Our Sunday brunch at Antoine's was wonderful. Unlike some of the newer French Quarter restaurants, Antoines is the real thing - a real New Orleans classic. Food was high quality, not outrageous in substance or price. Service was excellent, our waiter, "Ronnie", has clearly been serving patrons for decades, knows his job well and knows how to take care of people well. We enjoyed it immensely and will return in future.
A wonderful reunion of old friends after a hibernation due to covid.
Waiter was very inattentive. Waited 30 min before bread/ water was brought out and cocktail orders were taken. Long wait to have appetizer order taken. Oysters were subpar and the Rockefeller looked gray and unappetizing. Waiter did not not take our entree order for over 30 min after we finished our appetizers. At this point we had already been at the restaurant for 2 hours. Finally received our entrees and they were under seasoned and underwhelming. Dessert was ok but nothing to write home about. Definitely not worth anywhere near the price point. Will not be returning
Disappointed by my meal at Antoine's. We were sat next to the entrance to the kitchen, spent the entire meal watching waiters run back-and-forth. Waited 40 minutes to be served our desert after we finished our entrée. Waiter apologized, but never offered to comp. the desert or serve us coffee or tea while we waited. Definitely felt the restaurant is on the decline.
Historic restaurant with classic dishes beautiful "Salle à manger" With A1 service
Overrated, I’m afraid.
Food was excellent and the service was amazing. Becky and Larry were our servers. They both were very knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful in making dinner selections. Would highly recommend.
The Creole Shrimp was phenomenal. The wine was a new one for us, and we were thrilled.
Amazing service. The food is original and delicious. Make reservations. We walked around and there is a lot of history here. Do not miss this.
Great evening , well done. Food very good as it has been in the past
This was truly an experience. We requested Charles as our waiter and he did not disappoint! He was so charming and had the best recommendations. It felt like we were on a journey. The dining room was nice and we felt cared for from start to finish. Must have the pommes soufflé!
Excellent food and service. Oysters Rockefeller are simply the best. Gumbo also excellent. And the cake is amazing. We were unlucky to have a table in an almost empty dining room. Look forward to going back
Absolutely outstanding experience. Our server, Ron, and his assistant were extremely attentive and gave excellent recommendations. We can’t wait to return next time we’re in New Orleans!
The staff at Antoine’s went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had a wonderful lunch on our honeymoon! They even gave us a gift. 5/5!
Our waiter Ronnie was great. The food was good. We went for the restaurant’s historical significance, but was disappointed with the restaurant. We were under the impression there was a dress code but people came in wearing jeans, shorts and t- shirts. We made reservations and found it disappointing we were seated next to the front door. It was so loud conversation was difficult and there was only 2 of us. The waiter couldn’t hear either and got my husbands steak order wrong. In stead of medium rare the steak was rare, really rare. My husband left most of he $48 steak on his plate.
It was way too bright as well. Sadly I think we would have been better off in a bar on Bourbon st.
Very nice and eloquent! True New Orleans old Style charm. Austin was terrific!
Hey Chuck! Thank you again for making Janae’s birthday special. You and the entire staff are phenomenal. Excellent food cooked with love.
Amazing place, food, service atmosphere...great experience!
Exceptional as always!!!!!❤️
Our experience dining at Antoines was absolutely exquisite! The drinks, food, and service was what you would have expected for an establishment such as this one - best in class! Entrusting a couple hours of your time to the team at Antoines will not go to waste. I highly recommend.
