A small friend group went for drinks before dinner on NYE and it was great. They do a great job with Covid protocols, have lots of selections for beverages, and the heater by the table was awesome!

Love the ambiance, though it was cold the heater at the picnic table was very helpful. The beers are great and the Ninja Kombucha lavender was a hit with the non drinkers.

Ardent does an amazing job with social distancing, and the folks who work there are the friendliest and most efficient people! The food is great and obviously we love the beer. Wonderful way to spend an hour and a half outside in nice weather!

Weather was perfect for patio service. The hostess was busy and still cheerfully and efficiently seated us. The server was patient while we navigated the complexities of the online ordering system. We tried four IPA's and enjoyed them all.

Ardent has created in their bier garden a. Perfect coin-safe getaway. Food is spectacular and of course beer outstanding. Using Open Table let’s me make a reservation and not be left table-less. Great spot for a quiet afternoon social.

We had a great time with the COVID-safe seating and QR code menu! Even the bathrooms were set up to be one at a time (which I loved, even if some customers didn’t read the sign). Also, they just set up new foot heaters, and they were perfect for sitting outside in the November chill!

One of my favorite breweries even in the time of COVID. Heaters at each table, super socially distanced, and fast service.

One guy went to the bathroom without a mask and the staff were on him in no time. I really appreciate this in these Covid times. The toasted sandwiches are great, my fave being the avocado, Brie and speck

Their new food menu was creative, and the food was delicious. The beer was amazing as always. The staff clearly take, both their own and customers', safety very seriously and I felt safe to eat and drink there at all times. The space between tables was much more than six feet. The beer and food delivery was very fast. I remember in the past waiting long lines to get beer, since they are so popular. Now you order beer online and it comes out right away. I would definitely recommend Ardent to anyone really wanting to go out, but who are worried about catching the coronavirus.

We had the best time! The social distancing is great - big picnic tables at least 7 feet apart. Ordering is simple and the food is great. AND they have a gluten free beer on tap that they make on site. If I lived in Richmond, I would go to Ardent every single week!!!

Service was excellent and their COVID precautions made it feel very safe. Orders came very soon after being ordered and the beer was great and cold!

Awesome beers and ambience in the courtyard on a beautiful fall day!

The food and beer were delicious and I really appreciated how responsible the staff were all being about COVID-19 precautions. The staff were all masked and gloved, I observed them wiping the chairs and tables between guests, and the reservation system worked well. Everyone stayed at their table and received speedy service which made social distancing easy. They even gave someone a gentle reminder when she was not at her table and took off her mask. All in all I would highly recommend Ardent as a location for people who want to get out but still want to be careful. I just hope they have a plan to have heaters so the fun can continue into the winter.

I absolutely LOVE Ardent! They are organized and safe during this pandemic making your experience a safe and enjoyable one--hand sanitizer, masks (if you forgot yours), QR code ordering, social distancing... they are the safest brewery in town!..and their sandwiches are AMAZING!!
