Arnette's Chop Shop
The food was outstanding and extremely fresh. The ambiance was very cozy and the upstairs bar was very lively and fun. Great cocktails and menu. Definitely recommend for a special occasion or a fancy date night. Will definitely visit again!
Never a disappointment! I love this place every time I go. The Spinalis cut is to die for and seasoned to perfection. I get this cut almost every time. The ambiance is lively and energetic with a beautiful decor. The bar upstairs is a great start to kick off a lovely dinner in the dinning room below. I will be back again.
Our server Shawn was great. Very attentive and friendly. The food was so delicious. We will definitely go back!
I honestly have to say I was disappointed in Arnettes. I was excited to try out a local down the street Brookhaven steak house. The service tonight was slow, very slow for a Monday night. I did not mind much because of father of 3, it was nice to get out with the wife for alone time. It did get to the point, a bit annoying about the slow service. The service did not bother me as much as the food. We ordered 3 appetizers to start. The beef ribs were amazing. The best of the night. We split a wedge salad which was also good. The bacon (most popular) app was awful. I read reviews before and others said the same, but it’s bacon right? No! It’s a cut of total fat saturated in a super spicy sauce. It was horrible and a waste. I don’t mind spicy, but it was lacking flavor. The wife and I ordered the filets cooked medium. These filets were prime cuts of meat. Very tender, but has NO flavor. One filet was more medium rare than medium. I switched steaks with my wife because I don’t mind a medium rare steak. Let me tell you it had no taste. Reminded me of room temp roast beef. This place is not worth the cash if you are looking for a good steak. Hal’s steakhouse is a better value and it blows the doors off this place for steak. I am glad we did try it, knock it off our list, but will not return. I’ve been to all steak houses in and around this location. Actually very disappointed with this one. Bar is great to go get drinks only. Steaks are very bland. I mean very bland.
The ambiance was good but I've had much better steaks for similar or lower price points at other restaurants around Atlanta. The steak was good just not at that heavenly level I expect at this price.
One of the top steak places in Atlanta. The ambiance, quality, and service is all top notch. David took great care of us. Drink on Linae upstairs is a must do!
It was our first time at Arnette’s and it was F-A-BU-LOUS!!! We enjoyed everyone and everything from the Valet to the leaving out of the establishment. I HIGHLY recommend this eatery for someone who is looking for a calm BUT over-the-top meal with a dash of OUTSTANDING ambience. We will be back and back and back.
My husband and I had dinner at Arnette’s Saturday night. We were sat in a quiet room away from the main dining room which was perfect! Tom was our server and exceeded all expectations. From menu recommendations to small talk we had a great experience. My husband had been eyeing the Tomahawk steak for weeks on Instagram and was definitely not disappointed (finishing the ENTIRE thing). This restaurant is worth every penny and we’ll definitely be back!
Incredible food and amazing service!
Favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Period
Too noisy to enjoy a conversatiom
They pack in the two-person tables, so I felt closer to my neighbor than my partner. But the food is outstanding - everything we ate was top notch and cooked to perfection.
I have been to chop houses that make you feel like you've had an experience. This one did not. Bartender sneezed into her hand then continued to make my drink, salads were forgotten, and crab cake was forgotten. They did get them to us eventually. The food was tasty, but for the price I expected more. Maybe they just need more time to perfect their craft. Don't see myself returning.
We really wanted to love Arnettes, but it just wasn’t our night. We were initially seated on the covered patio even though there were seats available in the dining room. There was so music playing and no people out there except for us. Our new seat was fine when they moved us. The waiter was nice but took a long time between ordering drinks and appetizers. Our appetizers were just decent. The oysters were incredibly small and the tuna was fine but nothing special. The bread service was hard. We were at a small table and weren’t asked for our dinner order until our appetizers were almost gone, so we were awkwardly trying to figure out where to place the menus. Our food came. My husband loved his dry aged steak. My steak was cooked medium well to well done even though I asked for medium. It didn’t have much flavor. The hash browns weren’t cooked through in the middle so we sent them back. My husbands second beer didn’t even come until our dinner plates had been cleared. Overall, a disappointing experience when you’re paying 200.00 for dinner.
Food was outstanding, as always. Service was great
I need to find out the table numbers upstairs of the two-top tables by bar under the rock-star photos; they seem as optimal place for a couple to sit on a date. The side booths are "tight". Service still needs to be professionalized to get to Chops or Bones status (prices are clearly there). A work in progress with good phone and convenient location with a great Valet parker.
Outstanding Meal and Great Service. Highly recommend making a visit.
Phenomenal experience on all touchpoints. I’ve been here 4 times now and I would say the same about every visit. Bravo to your staff, especially your team of chefs. Thank you!
This was our first visit and we will definately be back. The upstairs bar was a mess though and the bartenders were completely overwhelmed. Not a good scene and waiting 20 minutes for a drink without even an acknowledgement is not acceptable. The meal however was amazing and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely be back!
Tom was an excellent waiter. I hope to get him again.
The food was phenomenal!!! We had the bacon and also the shrimp cocktail to start. We then split a lettuce wedge which was a perfect size and the presentation was awesome! My wife had the red snapper and I chose the 16oz Cowgirl Ribeye which was
cooked to perfection. The service part the evening was not efficient enough for a place of that caliber. I’ve been in the business ( hospitality business) for over 30 years , I just left the Palm Steakhouse after working there for 15 years. I know as a server we tend to stereotype customers or how we would say “ Valentines Weekend is Amateur weekend, but damn I had to make conversation with my server just to feel right about giving him a 25% tip. No manager came around and asked if everything was ok. I saw a few guys in suits just looked and smile. Thank God the food was awesome , or I would’ve been totally disappointed. My wife and I would love to come back and enjoy it when it’s not too obvious that we seemed like a “Amateurs” . Again , I’ve been in the industry for Over 30 years, got my degree in Hospitality Management, you know when you are being avoided in a restaurant.
I've been here twice. The first time was really good, but this last time the food wasn't as good as I remembered. The service is great, the ambience is fun, but the steak was just OK. I'll try it again, but there are other great steakhouses in ATL so I may not rush back.
Everything was fantastic. Food was great, staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the whole experience an unforgettable one. Will definitely be back.
The upstairs bar is really neat but took us an hour plus to get our dinner. I’ll write it off to Valentines
They were not prepared for the amount of people on Valentine’s day. we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for our meal. They did comp us though.
After a bad experience on Valentine's, the management team at Arnette's welcomed my girlfriend and I back and MORE THAN made up for the mishap! From the moment we walked in, we were taken great care of. They truly met and exceeded the expectations I held before going there the first time.
For starters, the house cab is a great wine for a competitive price. We also had raw oysters and grilled shrimp, and I will say that the oysters may have been the best I've ever had. Lastly, our cuts of steak were delicious and cooked perfectly to our liking. I can't forget the lobster mac and cheese, which also had incredible taste.
The vibe at Arnette's is a little more noisy than I expected, but a great place for dinner or drinks. The service was phenomenal, and I can't wait to return over the summer with friends to enjoy the outside bar area. I can't thank Arnette's enough for the wonderful dinner and evening. We left incredibly full and satisfied.
Unable to fully review as we left the restaurant before we could dine due to poor customer service on a busy Valentine’s evening, despite having a reservation over one month in advance. We hope to try again in the future!
Outstanding service! The Wagyu steak was cooked perfect. We will return again.
amazing service and food
Had Dinner with my wife to celebrate Valentines Day. Did not disappoint at all. This was our third time to Arnette's. Michael has done a great job with his restaurants. As residents of Brookhaven these are our go to places to real good food.
While Arnette's was real busy our waiter did a real good job in attending to our needs. The sides were out of this world (mushrooms, fall vegetables and Brussel sprouts). Salads were equally as good. The Bone-in filet was real good cooked correctly.
will be back...
My steak was very undercooked. It had already taken way too long to begin with so by the time and it was re-cooked it was too late. I wasn’t even hungry anymore
Ribeye was fatter and tasteless. Filet was ok. Service was slow especially given there was several empty tables in our room.
My second visit, and I think I’ll stick with little alley and bones going forward.
Not sure how much longer Arnettes will survive unless change where they purchase their meat. Where do they by the way.
We went here for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner and it was great. They had a fixed special occasion menu that included a bottle of wine (or you could order off the menu). Overall the food was great, but the 10oz Filet was amazing. It had a perfectly seasoned, seared crust and was cooked perfectly throughout.
Steaks were perfect. Service was great. Top notch dining experience
Steak was undercooked per usual. Other than that it’s very good.
Amazing filet and spinallis cuts. The chef was spot on with the seasoning and temp of preparations on both! We love this place. Thank you yet again for a fabulous meal.
Beautiful restaurant with a great meal tonight.... ask for Alberto as your server. He was extremely professional and we enjoyed his flawless service. He even had a little surprise for me tonight, we didn’t tell him it was my birthday but apparently he saw it on my Open Table profile and brought a lovely dessert and candle! Very thoughtful. Thanks Alberto for a great evening. We will be back for sure.
We went to the top to have a drink which was a lot of fun. Definitely go early before your reservation or stay after for a drink upstairs. It was a very comfortable restaurant, our servers and service was great and food was fantastic. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth a splurge meal!
Always a positive experience. Obvious Michael cares about his restaurants.
Really wanted to love this place. The space is amazing and everyone was so nice- very fast and accommodating service. The rooftop area is really nice too. Sadly, the food was not very good. Started off strong with a wedge salad and oysters and basically went downhill from there. The scallops were inconsistently flavored- one VERY salty and one not seasoned enough. Wasn’t pleased with the temperature or taste of the ravioli or the lobster mac and cheese either. As I said, really wanted to love it but probably will not be back- other than for drinks upstairs!
