We have enjoyed this restaurant many, many times and while the food was delicious, we had a couple of things happen that caused us to give a fair review. We had a 5:30pm reservation on Valentine's Day and we happened to be early so we decided to have a drink in the bar and take advantage of happy hour. We were given the happy hour menu, placed our order and when the server came back with our wine she informed us that she didn't know that they were not honoring happy hour. OK, we understand it's a holiday, but we should have been told when we placed the order. Before being seated I asked if they were able to honor our Open Table request for a booth or a table on the perimeter of the dining room. The restaurant at 5:20pm was three quarters empty. We were shown to a table in one of their brightly lit banquet rooms (not the lovely dining room) and placed next to the only other people in the room, a young family with an infant. We asked to sit in the main room. The hostess returned and once again showed us to a table in the 2nd empty banquet room. We asked again to be seated in the main dining room which was fairly empty. We were told booth were for 4 people (even though only a few were occupied. - all with 2 people) At that point we were finally shown to a table for 4 on the perimeter of the room. It should be noted that we were dressed for dinner in a fine restaurant, so I don't believe they wanted to hide us...especially since there were several diners in jeans, t-shirts and baseball hats. Our server asked if we wanted to order a side since our entree did not include a vegetable. When I mentioned that it came with Asparagus, she had to ask the kitchen and was told that we were correct. This restaurant could benefit from better communication with their staff and an attempt to at least listen to the customer. BTW - after we were seated they continued to seat couples in the booths and when we left at 7:15 the restaurant was still about half empty.

It pains me to write this review because I’ve never had an experience like this before. There were barely any people there when my wife and I went for my birthday dinner. It took us over an hour to get our food. And lemons for water. My wife and I had been looking for an enjoyable evening out because she had just given birth and it was supposed to be a beautiful celebration. The manager who is clearly new. A very thin uptight young man with a suit that doesn’t fit well came with an abundance of excuses and finally towards the end of the evening; rather than being apologetic about the dinner said, sorry you were in a rush and ruined your babysitting. My wife who I’ve never heard yell at anyone Corrected him and put him in his place. Moving onto the desert we knew exactly upon arrival which desert we wanted and knew it would take 30 minutes hence placing the order while our entrées were being ordered with the waitress she had definitely confirmed this order and to our surprise we had to wait an additional 30 minutes because she lied to us all the meanwhile the restaurant being only less than 25% full as it was a Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM. I blame the manager and no one else for this situation

We ordered from the dineLA menu. My steak was very tough and I couldn't eat it. The waiter and his boss were very nice and took it back and exchanged it for the Chicken Bianco, which was delicious. My friend's steak was chewy but tasty. The noise level was very loud but we attributed it to the fact that it was dineLA week and the restaurant was very crowded. The waiter was very attentive and we left him a large tip. I would try the restaurant again when it isn't as crowded.
Lunch for Restaurant Week was wonderful. Morton’s outdid themselves. We dined on perfectly cooked salmon, grilled asparagus, chocolate mousse and Caesar salad to start.
Will definitely return.
Our first visit to Morton's was a memorable occasion. The hostess was very pleasant & acknowledged we were celebrating my husband's birthday. After being seated our waiter Dexter brought us DineLA menu's which we requested. My husband felt the lobster bisque would have tasted better without the pepper.
The presentation of the Caesar salad and shrimp scampi were very appealing. We loved the bread! What a nice surprise when the hostess came to take a picture & later brought a lovely birthday card with our picture inside. We are young at heart in our 80's and this was a great date place for us and we plan to return soon.
Back again for another Dine LA deal and this time around it was all about the shrimp scampi. So good with a generous portion of shrimp. Two thumbs UP !!
Morton never disappoints me. The steaks are great and the service is top notch.
The service was very friendly, and attention to detail . The food was excellent. The ambiance was quite pleasing. Would recommend to anyone. Was very pleased.

Steaks are very good, altho I longed for steak fries instead of shoestrings. The crab cake, which sadly is not as good as it used to be in the pre Landry’s days, was slathered in a spicy sriracha sauce, with a spicy mustard sauce on the side. Why? Asparagus were kind of flavorless. I love the room and the ambience, and the service is always spot on. Hope they improve things for people who don’t always want a steak.
You can't beat the quality of the steak! But what really made our day was the impeccable service from our waiter LeRoy, a truly outstanding young man. He was friendly, courteous, personable, cultured, and simply extraordinary in every way. He made the experience unforgettable. I will be back!

This is my second time at Morton’s, the food was amazing the first and second time. I love the service and my new fiancé agrees that this is our favorite restaurant.

Honestly very much upset about my reservation so I decided to wait 24hrs so my review isn’t based off anger. To begin, I called before my 2:00 pm reservation and the lady answering the phone was not friendly/nor welcoming. I called at 1:52 approximately. Next, I checked in and waited about 7 minutes to be seated, the lady checking us is was the one answering the phone because I recognized the voice. We got seated to a 4 guest table, was confused why it took long when the restaurant was not busy. I understand reservations are necessary, (heard the manager tell the check in employee walk-ins are bar only) but there were plenty of empty tables. Finally, Leroy my server basically read the menu to me. I feel, if I have questions I will ask, I don’t want someone to read the menu to me to say the least. My steak was pink when it was cut center, left, and right. I sent it back and was hunger-less when I was brought back those same pieces cut up. Im sure it costs me more to pay for my full diner vs. Morton’s cooking me a new steak. Anyways, I’m a steak lover and this was the icing on the cake for me. Ordered, lobster bisque, crab cake (YUMMY), 8oz filet minion that was not cooked as requested (well-done), sour cream mash and cheese (skippable), grilled asparagus (GREAT), onion rings (perfect) - highlight of my dinner. I went to the west hills location for thanksgiving and my dinner was amazing. I’m sad that Burbank’s location lacked SO much

This was the 2nd year in a row that Morton's failed to live up to previous celebrations at their steakhouse for our family Christmas dinner. We have had over 20 years of very happy Christmas Eve family dinners not to mention anniversary's, birthdays and other family functions with Morton's and each was very wonderful and memorable. However, ever since they were taken over by Landry's the quality of the food, presentation, customer service and other details that have always been a hallmark of Morton's has steadily diminished.
This year Landry's started out the holiday by expiring nearly 300 points of our account and did so on the 23rd of December. This was a very classless act considering that many clients would be dining out during the holiday period and would take benefit of their points for discounts on their meal. We also had a $100 credit due us from last year and found out that it too was no longer in effect. We should have seen what was coming when we were called for our table, but I was told by two hostesses that our party would not be seated until we paid the bar tab, a whopping $30. What did they think we were going to do, walk the check? We were there for a family occasion and previously a bar tab was simply transferred to the table. However, that particular courtesy no longer exists either.
Morton's as we fondly remember over these many years and several locations apparently is gone forever. Landry's has taken what was a wonderful steakhouse chain and cheapened it t the extent that while their prices remain high, the quality, courtesy and customer appreciation are no longer there.
Restaurant was very loud. Don’t like the fact that there are no decent dinner salad choices. Much too large for a dinner salad.
Been a while since we’ve visited but great service as usual. Food was really good. Def. pricy but I think its worth it once in a while. Try the hibiscus tequila drink.
Honestly wasn’t impressed for $453 for (4) the steaks were most certainly not worth $50+ each. Tasted average at best, a bit dry and the texture was not juicy & savory as a Morton’s steak should be.
