Arnie Morton's The Steakhouse - Woodland Hills
Wonderful food as always. Liam was an amazing and efficient waiter. This is our favorite steakhouse and we will be back.
Fish was under cooked. Mojito ordered was poor and needed to be remade. On top of this, they charged $17.00 for it. They put us at a table near the kitchen and it was very noisy. Service was good, but food was just mediocre. Way too expensive for the quality. I would not go back.
Excellent customer service
The food and service were fantastic. It is pricy, and I wish they wouldn't charge $7 for valet parking when it is only for the restaurant.
Very consistent...Always good food, great service and great value.
Great for special occasions
Service and staff are awesome! I can't say enough about the courteous, friendly people. They make this restaurant and are really the only reason I would return. Also, place is a little too dark for me. Food not spectacular. First time at a Morton's since I was a young kid. Not impressed with entrees I could make at home. Filet was overcooked (asked for medium rare) and kind of dry. Salads were sub par, good but not great which is what I expected from this place. I feel like I could have used my OT voucher someplace better.
All was excellent, but most disappointed that the hash brown potatoes are no longer on the menu.
Food was excellent the service great at first then disappeared. Our table top was wobbly and never should had been used especially when spending $250.00 for 2. No issue with cost only should had noticed table top issue.
The service was non existent, we were not offered any bread. The food was terrible. We ordered lobster and steak special, thinking we were getting an actual steak and lobster tail, but it was nit that, the steak had a sauce and lobster on top...not good. The drinks for $20 a piece were like juice, no liquor!
Our waitress, Makenna, was wonderful. Very sweet and attentive.
Prepared steak and service
Was amazing! I am already craving the usda New York strip.
It was the only time I had a bad exp w Morton’s. I’ll ignore it but wonder y the chicken Christopher was not good this time. Thick and over peppered usually a 10 was a 6/7. Wrong drink, skimpy greens with the burratta. Love Morton’s so yes I’ll b back. If it happens again it’s back to RC or Mastros. Higher prices have no room for mistakes but everyone is allowed a second try.
Arnie Morton's has been our favorite steakhouse for dozens of years, yet this most recent experience was underwhelming, compared with our past dining experiences there. The service was good, yet seemed "canned;" no personality, no flair. It seemed more like that of a pancake house, than a relaxed fine dining experience. The food was still tops for steakhouses, in our opinion. But in our community there are steakhouses with comparable quality steaks at a far better value. The wines are overpriced, compared to their competition.
Everything was outstanding! From the Maitre D', to our waitress Ana and the whole team at Morton's! Our dining experience was superb! Will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful experience at Morton’s!! The food was beyond amazing and our server Jason was very attentive and made the evening go very smoothly!! :)
The meal could not have any better and with Dine LA it was even better
DineLA experience. Valet was overwhelmed and the line was really long. Cranky drivers honking and yelling didn’t make the start of our evening off peacefully. We were on time for our reservation and had minimal wait to be seated. Once we were seated we waited a really long time for everything. I ordered a cocktail (sidecar) and was disappointed. I have ordered it here 3 times before and it was great then. It was bitter and unpleasant this time but the length of time to get it made me not want to send it back. It took forever to get menus, we asked for the dine LA menus which we never got but we had looked online before coming so we knew what to order. We had a dirty knife. I was never asked if I wanted another cocktail but my companions who ordered non alcoholic drinks received refills and were asked. The food was mostly really good. The chef was heavy handed with the pepper on my potatoes but my companion’s potatoes were bland. Otherwise, we enjoyed our meals. The meat was cooked nicely. I’m not sure the experience lived up to the food though.
The food was good but our server was fantastic, I believe his name was Jason. The restaurant is laid out horribly and they only care about their regulars and no one else. It is very loud near the kitchen and when asked if we could sit further away, even though there were other open tables, that is all they had available. Not cool. The creamed spinach was terrible as well. BUT, Jason made it well enough of an experience that we will come back for him, if they can guarantee us not sitting in the kitchen and listening to talking and banging all night.
Was not what we expected. Completely opposite. Dismal failure and a mistake to go there.
Our steaks melted in our mouths. Service was excellent.
Looking forward to our next visit
Service was excellent. The food was great. The menu for LA dine week was really nice. I'm still full
Wonderful evening with old friends. Food, service, ambience...all were excellent
We have dined at Morton's Woodland Hills in the past and had enjoyed it so made a return trip.
This time food quality was poor and most of our meals were improperly cooked and side dishes served cold.
In addition, the bill when presented was inaccurate with a $59.00 overcharge.
It took at least 20-25 minutes to get the bill rectified. Very disappointing.
The service is bad. We waited 30 min to get seated even though we had a reservation. Our food took forever to come out. The waiter was clearly too busy because he didn’t check on us much. Definitely won’t return to this location.
It was a very busy night and service was slow but we understood. Finally our steaks arrived and were completely over cooked. I had ordered a Medium and it was EXTRA well done. My Bf ordered medium rare and it was medium well. I wanted to return them but we were starving already after waiting so long for our food and we didn’t want to wait another 30 mins or longer for new steaks. Very disappointed. We just moved upstairs and were excited to come here but we can make better steaks at home.
Steak was cooked perfect- tender and juicy
We had superior service from our waiter, Michael, and enjoyed the Winter Dine LA menu!
Our first time dining At Morton’s. The place was nice. Our server Liam was excellent answered our questions regarding the menu. The food was delicious. My husband and I were stuffed. We had plenty of left overs. Overall would come back again
Phenomenal. Every. Single. Time.
Morton’s does have a decent menu. The problem (for me) is that every time I try something other than a “standard” anything, I’m disappointed. The salad I had was a mess of soggy pine nuts and too-much dressing along with a monstrous pile of soft cheese in the middle. Way too expensive for a salad at $13+. The fillets are always “good” BUT they aren’t anything worth writing about. Not served on a hot plate and nothing like competitor RC. Decent price. The chocolate mousse was very good - and at $13 it better be. A small amount. Overall, I’ll pass on Morton’s unless I’m with associates that insist - average fare and way overpriced. Go to RC for an amazing comparison.
Talk about top-tier dining. Doesn’t get better than prime steak, delicious wine, and professional service. The manager, Mariela stopped by to ensure everything was excellent, and it wasn’t just excellent, it was perfect. My wife and I are still talking about how great it was. Thanks Morton’s!!!!
Our server, Jared, was amazing. He really made my husband's birthday celebration special. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back!
Dinner was great. Shannon always comes by to make sure we are happy and enjoying our evening. She was terrific, as always. I am never disappointed at this Morton’s.
The service by Makenna was fantastic. For example, she went way out of her way to help find me a Vodka I had not previously tasted. Her follow up and attention to every aspect of our meal experience showed she cared about making sure we had a great experience. The manager, Shannon, has always been helpful and I attribute her great leadership and training to why her personnel are so friendly and helpful. Shannon does an outstanding job of leading by example. We ordered the filet and lobster special that was not only very good, but a bargain as well. With both very good food and excellent service, I would highly recommend Mortons for a terrific meal and all around excellent experience. In an area with several fine steak restaurants we usually choose Mortons for the consistency of high quality food and service.
Have been meaning to try Morton’s for sometime… Came highly recommended by several friends, but I have to say it does not come close to reaching the quality of steak that places like Mastro’s, Ruth’s Chris, even Roy‘s. maybe we were this just there on a bad night, But both my steak and my daughters steak left a lot to be desired. We started with a Caesar salad that felt like it was a day old… Limp and flavorless. Steaks were done according to our order, but there was a distinct lack of flavor to all of it
Very much enjoyed our Christmas dinner with you folks.
