Arthur Street Kitchen
Very good choice as one member of group gluten free.
Food was delicious service very friendly and quick seats could do with new padding👍🏻
My girlfriend loved the tempura, i had the tastiest most excellent burger to date.
Chips were crackin. Even the salads(which 75% of the time get wasted. I know this, i used to work in the kitchen trade) were perfect.
Had a pianist playing in the background with it being Valentines day! It set the atmosphere off. Excellent service felt totally comfortable (even with my mental health issues which cause alot of distress) would 100% recommend to a friend. even to a stranger! We are defiantly coming back for a meal and a drink.
Food and staff excellent mildly disappointing selection of non alcoholic drinks, 1 beer, 1 cider no wine and only one shot of gin. Otherwise good night
The food is nice and cheap but on the Valentine’s Day menu it had no prices for the sharing platter me and my boyfriend had and because the starters weren’t nice we had to take the platter and it was £16 and there was only 2 pieces of tempura and a little bit of Prawns which I was quite disappointed with.
Also I feel they rush you to eat so you can leave. we had just finished our starter and 5 mins later we got our mains but we didn’t enjoy it cause we didn’t get time to rest
food, drinks and service were all fantastic. The staff are very friendly and attentive when you need them to be.
We were called earlier that day to say the table was required bk after 90 minutes as they had booked a private function normally this would have been fine but we ordered food then sat for 55minutes before receiving any food so everything was very rushed when the food came it was very average duck was overdone and mashed pot was lumpy. All in a big waste of £93 for 4 adults to have 4 mains and 2 deserts and 1 childs fish and chips.
the staff were really nice and the food was amzing
Service and food was quick. Prices were a bit steep for what we got. Partner had fish and chips, which seemed like frozen dishes rather than fresh. Food was ok though. My plate was very hot, burnt my arm on it a couple of times as I went to get a drink. They did say it was hot, but this wasn’t just hot. It’s was scalding, didn’t need to touch it to feel the heat coming off it. Was charged £13.60 for two small Cosmos, which were charged as a candy floss Cosmo cause they didn’t have a button apparently. Was still Christmas Cocktails and no prices on menu. If I knew a Cosmo was £6.80 I wouldn’t have bought one tbh. Overall was an okay experience.
I always enjoy visiting Arthur Street Kitchen for the delicious food, lovely staff and great prices
Service was quick, helpful, staff very polite and always on hand to help but certainly didn’t feel as though you were being pestered
Food was lovely, will definitely be back!
Always great food and service. Enjoyed the fantastic gluten free varied options.
Lovely food, great staff. Was a noisy Saturday night between Christmas and New Year so very busy but food and drink were quickly served up. Will definitely visit again.
Delicious food! Friendly staff. Great service. Nice surroundings. The standard of the food and presentation is great. Highly recommended!
Food was delicious, service was perfect. Enjoyed a lovely lunch with my sons. Would highly recommend Arthur street kitchen.
Easy to book and food always good. Staff are polite and friendly
Lovely meal, excellent value for money. Friendly staff. Service but slow but it was busy
Food service and general atmosphere was brilliant. Only slight criticism I have is the spoons were very chunky and also heavy like which would pose more of an issue for people with weak hand muscles etc
Wont stop me from returning though and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Went for a wee afternoon xmas dinner and drinks day out Food was lovely Staff were so friendly and service first class But felt they were a bit under pressure They certainly work for there pay A bit dissapointed as they run out of certain gins As this pub is well know for there gin flights All in all had a great afternoon catching up with friends .
The food was excellent and very well presented. We had two courses for £12.50 which is very good value. The service as ever was very good.
Staff was excellent food was superb excellent value for money 👌
Service was v friendly and efficient. Food was lovely. Will be back
Fantastic value for money and service was excellent. Friends from Dumfries and paisley were really impressed
Fabulous as always great for Gluten Free a
Great place and a great gluten free options on the menu
Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and drink although my French Martini could have been shaken a bit more.
It wasn't until later that we worked out that we might have been overcharged as our calculations didn't match the bill we paid but it was too late then. The bill was a bit complicated to follow. It might be easier to understand if the meal deals were written as that and not show original prices and then discounts.
We had a lovely lunch .The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast .Great.x
This was recommended to me by a friend and it didn't disappoint. My partner and I had lunch here and the staff were very friendly, the food was tasty and great value for money and with atmospheric music in the background it made for a very enjoyable experience. Have already recommended it to someone asking for a good place to eat in Ayr.
We had a lovely time .The food was served quickly and was of a good quality. The service was very pleasant also. Look forward to our next visit.
Not a busy evening, which we prefer. Staff very knowledgeable and attentive. Will visit again.
Great evening. A good buzz about the venue. Nightclub music started a little too early for how busy the venue was and the amount of diners. But that won’t put us off going back.
Macaroni lacked cheese & fudge cake was disappointing - tasted of ginger
A fantastic meal and extremely helpful staff. 7yr old with autism didnt want starter as a starter wanted it with main and they were very patient with him
Felt rushed even though the restaurant was quiet. Waitress wasn’t very interested in our table at all however food was nice.
The food is always nice and the staff very pleasant.
Food was fabulous , service great but felt the ambience could of been better , not particularly cosy , too big because of this rather noisy especially as there was a baby crying for quite a while in a pram , we were there for dinner from 19.45-21. 30
Lovely food and friendly staff. We overbooked table a warm and inviting place will be back
Food was lovely- service was mainly good. However, my fiend’s dessert didn’t arrive and when we reminded the staff about it they just said that it would be right out. It appeared a short while later - they had obviously forgotten about it. No apology at all which was very strange. It was a weekday lunch time and it wasn’t especially busy to account for this. Otherwise very nice.
Everytime I've been in there has been mistakes with our drinks even though I specified at the time of ordering that I did not want a lot of ice. We all had chicken tempura for starter and I had 3 and a half skinny bits of chicken. I have to say that when the restaurant first opened the food was amazing but this definitely has went down hill. It took ages for us to finally get our drinks and after that no one checked the table to see if we wanted more. The main course was lovely but due to the poor service, we got the bill and went to another pub for a drink. It was my friends hen night and to be fair it was kind of ruined for us.
