Enjoy all of chef John Rivera and Askal's signature modern Filipino dishes in one menu, including the famous Angus beef sirloin served with pares 'claypot' rice & roasted bone marrow, as well as the addictively tantalising coal-roasted tiger prawns with crab fat 'alavar' sauce. Be sure to request for our supplementary dry-aged duck 'embutido' with longganisa & banana ketchup ahead of time as limited portions are available per night for the ultimate Askal experience. Our dedicated wine pairing of local Victorian and Australian drops is carefully curated by our beverage team, adding greater complexity, contrast and nuance to the 'piyesta'. Start your journey with warm, fluffy pandesal served with our signature 'latik' coconut butter before moving on to our best-selling chicken inasal skewers with annatto condiment, crispy skin & black vinegar. For your main course, our tender smoked lamb shoulder 'kaldereta' with malted carrot and green chilli relish is an absolute crowd pleaser. Experience Askal's express menu! Indulge in one ($49pp), two ($69pp) or three ($79pp) courses that's perfect for a pre-theatre or an after show meal, a quick work lunch or an important business meal. The centrepiece of the express menu is your choice of a sumptuous main course served with steamed jasmine rice or our signature garlic fried rice. Bookings are available for dinner from 5:30pm-6:30pm and 8:30pm-9pm, and for lunch on Thursday to Saturday from 12pm-2pm for a duration of 1.5 hours. Please note: this experience is for bookings and walk ins only and cannot be opted for on the night.
