Such an amazing place! Everything was absolutely delicious, the khachapuri was fresh, the khinkali were juicy, and the meat was cooked perfectly. Special thanks to the staff for their hospitality and great service, they really make you feel welcome. Cozy atmosphere, great music, and authentic Georgian cuisine. Definitely coming back again!

It used to be an authentic Georgian kitchen when they just opened the place, right now it’s not even close, the quality of food and taste degraded significantly, it’s Georgian only by name. Unfortunately, it was my last visit there…

Outdated outdoor furniture that has cracks wet cushions from the rain that were dirty. Bathroom was terrible. Food was very average. The service was the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Nobody came up to us for over half an hour to an hour. We were sitting trying to find a waiter to order more stuff when we got dessert we still had main course dirty dishes. Nobody gave us water until we had to ask for it in a end of dinner they added a service charge that they would refuse to remove because that’s based on their Restaurant policy. That’s not stated anywhere that they’re charging 20% service charge.

Very disappointed. We waited almost an hour for our food, and the chicken kebab was full of large pieces of fat. The quality did not justify the wait. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.

The food was good but drinks served did not match what was ordered. The eggplant appetizer was tasty. Service was pleasant. Parking was the main issue as the valet was charging $15 and then did not even retrieve our car. Certainly we could walk to it and did but why even have a valet then?

I had mixed feelings about this Georgian restaurant. The khachapuri was excellent — easily a 5-star dish and the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, everything else was very mediocre. The kebab came in huge pieces, but lacked seasoning and flavor, which was disappointing. The service was very basic. It felt more like “tell me what you want and I’ll bring it” rather than attentive or knowledgeable. The server couldn’t really explain the menu or offer recommendations, which took away from the experience. Overall, the place felt more like a small casual café than an upscale Georgian restaurant. There’s potential, but aside from the khachapuri, the food and service didn’t quite live up to expectations.

Very weird experience. We went for the Georgian specialties and were excited to taste a few of their soup dumplings. We had an early reservation since we had theater tickets that evening. We weren't greeted at the door, we had to wander around to find a few young women who were the wait staff, but you wouldn't know it by their initial reaction. The place is very much a comfortable lounge atmosphere versus a standard restaurant -- the couches were very comfortable, but not usually how I would want to eat a meal. There were two stages set up with instruments, so maybe later in the evening there is entertainment, but while we were had dinner there was very mellow background music. The food was very good --- but the server wasn't able to communicate well (language barrier) and she kept pointing to the QR code and telling us to order from what's on there. She was very nice, but not the best interactions. When we asked about cocktails, she was perplexed and we ended up just getting a bottle of their wine. When I saw the label on the bottle was Askaneli (same as name of restaurant), I asked if they had their own vineyards or was this just private labelled, she didn't understand. Again, the food was very good & the flavors were very Georgian, but this was not the 'restaurant' experience we were expecting. Maybe for take-out in the future...maybe.
