Lovely spot. Pretty ambience. Food was good. Sweet potato hash flavor (Smokey? Bacon? Spices?) kind of overwhelmed the entire meal - and happy I got the bourbon maple sauce on the side of the salmon. Kind of out of the jar barbecue sauce that also would have overwhelmed the flavors on the plate. I prefer less saucey in general. Why douse a beautiful piece of fresh fish in sweet barbecue sauce?

Limited menu was disappointing. Otherwise we felt safe dining out with COVID protocols. Food was decent but not spectacular. .

Thank you for a wonderful pandemic experience! We sat outside, even with rain looming over us, and the heated patio with clear partitions was perfect. The staff was incredibly responsive to our mask wearing while the waitres was at our table, and kept a safe distance while still being personable and warm. The food (particularly the filet mignon) was incredible. We will definitely be back, and will feel safe in doing so.

We love the Grill, so comfortable there. Great team of people that always work together. Sure, we could go somewhere else, but, we know the food and cleanliness will be the best, and, if for some reason it’s not, we have no problem letting someone know.

Always love this place but clearly the chef was having a bad day. We both got burgers with egg and bacon. Ordered medium rare and at best we got medium well with a weirdly cooked egg on top. If we weren't so hungry we would have sent back. If I received my husband's burger I would have absolutely sent it back. It was worse than a hockey puck and completely charred beyond recognition on one side. We actually could not believe the kitchen allowed it out.

But, we do love this place and this was our first horrid food experience. We will go back, make sure we are not starving, and no be afraid to send something back.

The hostess Jessica was super nice and offered her assistance with anything we needed. Our waiter Joe was very upbeat and helpful with suggestions about the specials and menu. My husband’s French onion soup and shrimp scampi were very good and my burger was delicious. I hope someday they expand their menu back up to what it used to be. I miss the seasonal favorites, especially the gnocchi! Thanks Atlantic Grilll for providing a safe and enjoyable dining experience!

Food is always delicious. Staff are great! Felt totally comfortable dining there during this time with Covid-19. They have the right procedures in place.

Best Onion Soup on the Seacoast. Brittany is always cheerful and welcoming. Joe, our bartender, was engaging and professional. We have been coming ever since reopening earlier this year.

Our experience at the Atlantic Grill was very nice. Meet some friends for Linner. The food and service was great. We were not rushed, enjoyed a relaxing afternoon. My wife and I have been here before and our experience has always been wonderful.

We go to the Grill just about every Saturday, we have our own special place to sit at the bar and even if they are not directly waiting on us, the waitstaff comes over and says hello! The entire crew is a team and it’s great to see them in action! It’s a great place, great people, great food!

The food is always consistently good and great service. They are taking very good precautions with Covid 19 and my husband and I feel safe there and will continue to dine there.

Ordered Shrimp Scampi that had very little pasta. Pasta is inexpensive. For $26 would have expected more.

My friend and I had a peaceful lunch on the patio at the Atlantic Grille. We were seated very far apart from others. Our waitress was responsive and she made us feel safe.

The food was excellent. I enjoyed grilled salmon on my gluten free Caeser Salad. My friend had "the best fried haddock sandwich" she had ever had.

We come to Portsmouth several times a year and this is our third time here.Trevor, our waiter was amazing and didn’t rush us at all even though it turned out we were the last ones there.We sat outside and felt very cozy with the heaters and very COVID safe.Love this place and hope to go back soon!

We did have a nice lunch on the outside patio. It was quite busy and our waitress was very nice, but things did not go well. We ended up being there over an hour and a half and another waitress had to get our check for us because ours seem to have disappeared. Our food was good however.

We enjoyed a great meal here with great service. The restaurant is taking precautions due to covid as soon as you enter as well with cleanliness and spacing parties far enough apart. The warm crab legs were delicious as well as the lobster grits. The stuffed cod was wonderful with just enough cream sauce. We would recommend.

Absolutely a "go to" location in the Seacoast, especially if you like their filet.....so tender and absolutely delicious. Their drinks (the apple old fashioned was great) and their Justin wine was also a winner, at a good price. The meal itself was a bit pricy, but it's all good and very comfortable on a warm Saturday evening in early November.

This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and timely. It was our anniversary and every employee we encountered made sure to congratulate us. The patio was beautiful for a fall lunch and appropriately spaced for dining during a pandemic. The food is always delicious but their appetizer special- fried chicken skins- was unbelievably delicious. Thanks for making our day so special Atlantic Grill!

Excellent meal, service, ambiance. Ate outside early, but with heat lamps could have stayed longer in comfort.

I thought the food was just ok, and pricey. My friends had mussels which they described as being very salty. Lovely outdoor seating when the weather is good. I probably won't rush back.

The Atlantic Grill was nice for an outside lunch on a warm sunny November day. I liked everything about it, except that it wasn't on the water like I assumed it would be.
