Very average restaurant. More of a family place for kids and a quick tea rather than a place you'd take the Mrs for wining and dining.
The food was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly and very accomdating. I would highly recommend!!
It's local, friendly, open for long hours and the food is delicious. What more could you want?

I chose the Averna after reading the excellent reviews and for its proximity to Hampton Court as we were going to see a concert during the annual festival. The food was really good, very generous portions and well cooked, we were only sorry that we had no time for dessert. Another plus was that there was no loud music playing and we could make conversation without having to strain to hear each other. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient, and we would definitely go back again, even making the trek from North London specifically to eat there.
We've dined here a few times and it's always an enjoyable experience. This time it was for a special occasion and our friends thoroughly enjoyed it too. The calves liver was superb and the belly of pork (on the specials board) was melt -in-the-mouth delicious! Others in our party had pasta or pizza and these were very tasty too.
The staff are always very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. It's a great place for families, they love children and make them feel very welcome, whilst still being quiet enough for couples to have a 'grown-up' meal out too.
